| Darius sat in a broken-down cantina; bad be even Mos Eisley standards. It was here that he expected to meet with Mika Jeebs of the Libs, after his current and spectacularly successful mission to rescue Commander Baird with the rest of the Libs. For now, an untouched drink sat before him and he kept his calm in the dank room.

| Before she was to join Haran of the True Crusaders in campaign to retrieve a prison ship, she would be set to meet with a smuggler. The very same smuggler that would help the Libs' best squadron retrieve Commander Baird out of a sector crawling with Imperials. This would be considered a small victory among the Libs, and that's what they needed to gain momentum on. They needed that especially after the losses at Molavar. Mika, along with a couple of bodyguards, would walk into a broken-down cantina where the meeting place would be held.
Each guard would be given a DC-17m blaster rifle, while Mika would have a D18 pistol attached to her holster. It was completely necessary, especially in places like Tatooine where scum and villainy resides. It was dark inside the Cantina, and not many people are inside. The less eyes, the better. The reputation of the Libs was beginning to spread among the Outer Rim, and it won't be long before they catches the eyes of the Empire. Mika would then spot the smuggler, walking over to the table. "I would like to thank you for your part in bringing Commander Baird back, and to congratulate you on your success." The lady reached for her hand to be shaken out of respect.

| Vaughn took her hand, giving it a firm squeeze-and-pump in greeting before settling back in his booth. "Word gets out fast, Mika. I heard what happened to your folks at Molavar. Bad deal that, and I was sorry to hear it. You have my condolences. At least we took Baird and his men to safety, although I think you Libs lost a few guys there as well. Look, we need to make a new deal. Trying to save your boys almost got me and Baird and his men fragged. I understand the Libs are working with a tight budget, and so I'm going to take a chance here.
"I'm no smuggler. I am Darius Vaughn, merchant prince of Tantra. My family is one of the most wealthy and influential groups on the planet. I'm willing to help fund you and your group; willing to keep on participating in your raids and helping against the Empire. I hate them as much as you and yours do, but if I'm going to keep helping, trust needs to be a two-way street. I want to meet your boss. The conditions can be whatever you want. Me unarmed, a secret location, a blindfold until I get there. Hell, I'll let you guys have all the cards. I just want to sit down with your boss, face to face, and name my terms. You can't tell me he won't meet with anyone. And if nothing else, you know my identity now. I'm at your mercy."

| The lady felt the firm handshake, before putting her hand back in its place. Then she nodded lightly, before sitting down across from Darius. "Thank you for your sympathy. I can understand you wanting to make a new deal. It's wonderful that you're interested in helping the Libs out, both physically and financially. Usually, deals are made through me on my leader's term. He likes to keep his identity hidden for security reasons. It's almost impossible to schedule a meeting with the man himself. But I will pass the message to him. I will let him know you're willing to meet on his terms. I will contact you once he makes his decision. I'll do my part in this by putting in a good word for you. If there isn't anything else you would like to discuss, we should be on our way."
She would make a mental note of doing a background check on Darius for the man himself. Every precaution is necessary, especially with how valuable the leader himself is.

| "There is nothing further, unfortunately. I am still available on the usual frequency if you have need of me for a mission. Please... let him know who I am and who my family is. Once he sees I mean what I say, I can only hope he will grant me an audience. Trust, as I said, is as vital as air if we are going to oppose the Empire."
He rose first, giving her a nod before heading towards the door.

| The lady simply nodded back at Darius, letting him be on his own way. Then she, along with the bodyguards, would walk out of the Cantina. They would head back for their shuttle, of which would take them back to Nar Shaddaa. Of which Mika would contact the Libs' secret man in charge as soon as possible.
