| Jalaila followed Tremaine and extended greetings with the Senator and his demure little wife. She was pretty, and Jaliala.though that maybe if she got the woman talking, she would be different than the rumours.
"Lady Kuriyoshi, your home is beautiful. So much different than the apartments on Imperial Center. Have you been there? " she would make casual conversation so that the senators could speak alone.

| The Telosian was about to speak to the Senator of Cronese Mandate when Jalaila spoke up to the Lady. "Oh, this is Miss Kelrune." He almost forget to introduce Jalaila to the pair, he didn't mean to. Tremaine wanted Jalaila to learn from this meeting. He had an inkling that this occasion would help the lady see the Empire for what they really are. Nobody really knew about a relationship between the pair. This is probably the first time Tremaine's brought Jalaila to meet with someone else. Which led him to wonder how Ilanah would react when she saw him with a woman. He was okay when Kal came back into her life, it didn't really bother him. It should be the same for the Chandrilan Senator.
The Senator had let go of the other Senator's hand, "Nice to meet you, Lady Kuriyoshi." He bowed his head to each of the pair. He went on to follow into the estate, taking a short look around. The inside was as impressive as outside. Again, unlike most politicians, he didn't care about mansions. The man prefers to keep things simple. Because of this, he was able to save more credits than most politicians would have. This is necessary for someone in an unique position such as his own. Tremaine didn't see very much of Senator Kuriyoshi outside of the Senate Rotunda. The smile coming from the host does give off a different feeling somewhat.
It didn't really bother the Telosian, though. The man lightly shook his head, "Thank you for your offer, but I would prefer to wait for dinner. I'm a soldier at heart. Soldiers don't eat more than necessary. Well, it's not like there's time to eat during the Clone Wars anyway." Tremaine usually doesn't like to tell people about himself. Even though many people would know he was a veteran if there was some research to be done over the HoloNet, he doesn't speak of it often.

| "I am not worried about being protected here, Kal....it's safe." She assured him, though she knew that he would never let down his guard, no matter what. The Senator sat on the end of their bed, her hands smoothing over the stomach of her gown. He said she looked great, but she was fretting, because she couldn't hide it from Tremaine anymore. And she new that he would try and tell her she couldn't do anything anymore, but she hoped he knew her better than that. She wasn't very good at being told what to do. Her gaze went to Kal for a moment before she draped her pashmina shawl over her shoulders and looped it over her arms at the elbow before she slipped from the room and off of the ship.
She was oddly quiet on the speeder ride to the Senator's estate, and was content to gaze out the window of the foreign planet and admire the rolling landscape, followed by the estate that belonged to the Kuriyoshi's. "Here, I suppose." She murmured once the speeder stopped and she got out. Suddenly, she didn't feel as confident of comfortable, but she refused to let that show. Instead of worrying, she just took Kal's arm and went inside to greet Senator Kuriyoshi and then her dearest friend.

| "I know it's safe, but you never know Lana..." He would look at her for a second before he would gather up a few things before they would leave the ship. He would meet up outside with Lana where their transport was awaiting them.
He could feel a bit of anxiety and nervousness coming from Lana. He wasn't sure just what was causing it, but it wasn't something he would just be able to ignore as their ride was irregularly quiet between the two. Who knows, maybe she was actually admiring the rolling landscape.
Once Lana would take his arm, he would lead her inside to begin their meeting. It was a little awkward for him, seeing as how the other two Senators were males, having their significant others be the type that would stay at home and what not. He was the total opposite and felt that he would be the odd ball out throughout this entire visit. He wasn't really able to talk about work like they would, nor was he really willing to either.
The most that he would more than likely end up doing throughout the night would be to sit there quietly, nodding his head in agreement when necessary.

| Zarcaine nodded as he looked over the Senator shoulder before he spoke up. "It would appear that dinner may come earlier than expect Senator Fowlkes." He motioned as Senator Thanatos and her husband came up the gravel walk. Zarcaine nodded as he gave a smile and spoke. "Welcome to our home Senator Thanatos, I believe that dinner will be ready shortly, please, follow my wife and I and we'll show you to the dinning room." He gave another smile, something that he hadn't done in a while as he held his wife's hand, looking to Amneris as he gave her hand a slight squeeze. Not wanting her to be shy about the meeting or the fact that the other Senator's were now in his home. The walk would be a short one, just a quick jaunt through the large foyer, which was framed by two large stair cases that lead up to the second floor.
One of the butlers pushed open the large doors to the dinning hall, revealing the open room as he stepped inside. In the middle of the ornate room was a large dinning table, chairs set around it with a large fireplace framed on one side of the room. The fire already roaring and keeping the room warm as the servants motioned to the others. One of the servants speaking to each of the guest. "Please, follow me to your seats." They would both smile as they escorted the Senators and their guests to the seats that had been set aside for them.

| Of course Jalaila knew who Senator Thanatos was, though she had never met the woman. In fact, she kind of admired the Chandrilan, a woman who was of her own heart and believed in everything that she believed herself; the Empire and the Emperor, and that the galaxy was better with the government in place. She removed her sunglasses and set them on top of her head before she moved into the house. Hopefully, she would be able to speak to the Senator later about her ideals.
For the moment, Jalaila was content to follow the rest of the party and sit where she was directed when the time came.

| When Senator Kuriyoshi announced Senator Thanatos' early arrival, Tremaine simply raised his eyebrows and turned around to witness the approaching pair. The Telosian suddenly were reminded his good friend were married to an Inquisitor. Even though the guy was using the role as a cover, he didn't trust the man. Tremaine may not be a Jedi himself, but he studied enough that dark side is not something that is easy to avoid. He didn't want the Libs to get screwed over. More importantly, he didn't want to see Ilanah get hurt.
Senator Fowlkes set aside his thoughts almost immediately, and nodded out of respect to both Thanatos. "Lana. Mr. Thanatos." He looked at Jalaila for moment, and smiled lightly. "This is Miss Kelrune. Meet Senator Thanatos and her husband, Mr. Thanatos." He spoke in introducing his new love interest to the pair before casually escorting Jalaila in pursuit of Senator Kuriyoshi and his wife to the dining room. Tremaine would follow one of the servants to his seat, and sat down.

| "Tremaine..." she said immediately when he spoke to her. Of course she acknowledged Jalaila briefly, but then took a second glance when she realized who the girl was. Tremaine had to have been crazy. If he thought Kal was a danger to them, he obviously didn't know who was on his arm. Regardless, she reached out and took her friends hand and squeezed it briefly, just a reassuring gesture, before she removed her hand. "We have a lot to talk about after supper, Tremaine." Ilanah said to him. "You two are staying as well, right?" The Senator smiled a little.
She wanted, of course, to talk to him about Jules and what was happening on Telos IV. But they also needed to have a discussion about what was going on with her, as much as she dreaded it. Ilanah squeezed Kal's arm lightly after she linked hers back through it. "And I am so sorry....about what happened on your home world. Such a tragedy." She had said it in senate, but it felt better to say in person.Added (24 Sep 2011, 10:08 PM) --------------------------------------------- Kal said to go ahead and skip him...hes having internet issues. | As the servants took each of the guest to their seats Zarcaine stepped aside for a moment, stepping into a separate room as he pulled his coat back and moved his arm in a circle. The joint stiff as he sighed and pressed his hand against it, feeling the artificial heat that the skin was supposed to give off, yet underneath it all he could still feel the cold steel of the metal. As he pressed his hand against the joint he looked outside, seeing it begin to drizzle lightly as the rain touched the glass window before he pulled his coat back on. He stepped out of the room as he stepped back into the large dinning hall, slowly walked to one end of the table, only to stop as he pulled out Amneris' chair and let her take her seat before he took his.
The fire kept the room warm as he sat down, looking to the windows again for a moment before he watched the rain begin to come down harder. The first time it had rained that hard, that he could remember, was the first time he had been able to walk again. He quickly shook those memories from his head though before he looked back to his guest, the servants coming out as they each held a different bottle of wine, or some exotic drink that the Senators might wish to taste.

| Jalaila contented herself with chatting with Mrs. Kuriyoshi for the moment. She was a nice girl, it seemed, but quiet and demure. Something that Jalaila was entirely unused to when it came right down to it. She really wanted to drag Amneris to Imperial Center and dress her up and teach her how to have some confidence. Spines were not something that could be bought, well, not from anyone reputable.
She snapped out of it and turned her full attention back to Amneris and listened to how the young lady had to redecorate the entire manse while Zaracaine was gone their entire first year of marriage. Idly, she wondered if the girl really had no one to talk to. Instead of saying something, she decided just to be a good listener and a friendly ear.

| The Telosian simply nodded at Ilanah, all while sitting down at a chair in front of a large table. "Yeah, we do have stuffs to talk about, Lana." When the Senator of Chandrila had apologized to Tremaine for what had happened on his homeworld, he gave another light nod. "Thank you. It could have happened to anyone." His composure remained intact. He didn't like the fact Telos IV got attacked, but he was a soldier. He knew the casualties of a war, but even the soldier inside him knew it wasn't right to murder civilians. The Separatists aren't so picky, however.
The path Tremaine had taken were taking him back to the days of the Clone Wars, but more immediate matters had required his attention for the time being. That compelled the man to pay attention to everyone else that went to sit at the table. He also had to worry about Jalaila. He had no doubts that the meeting after the dinner would be a "make or break" point for the beautiful lady. That also goes for everyone that's working with Tremaine's hidden occupation. There is a reason for the talk after the dinner. Should something go wrong, they needed a failsafe plan in place.
The Telosian went ahead and tested a sip out of three different wines, ended up choosing the second one. He looked at Jalaila and smiled lightly, "Well, what kind of drink do you suggest? He only asked because the lady came from the Imperial Center, which is the galactic capital. That meant there would be a lot of different food and drinks being provided there. She might be able to help choose a good one. Tremaine also wanted to break the silence.

| "Oh no, thank you." She said to one of the servants regarding the wine or other alcohol, but she would leave Kal to speak for himself. The silence was rather uncomfortable, as she would have liked to have just discussed what they needed to, so that the awkwardness would not be present any longer. the only thing that was stopping her was the presence of Jalaila. She could possibly ruin everything. But Lana trusted Tremaine enough to hope that he knew what he was doing.
"Senator Kuriyoshi, we appreciate the invitation to come to your home. It is nice to be away from Imperial Center for a while, even though the work follows wherever we go." she smiled some and took a drink from her water glass.

| There had been an attack within the Cronese Mandate, Chandaar itself in fact. That was the reason Senator Kuriyoshi had to excuse himself from the dinner. In turn, Senator Fowlkes decided that he and his lady couldn't wait around for the man to return. He had excused himself, telling Jalaila to come with him. There were still several things he needed to do as a rebel, as a Senator, as a charitable person, and for himself. Tremaine has places to go to, a lot of places. However, that didn't mean he would have to cancel talking with Lana too. They still needed to talk, she was also a rebel and is involved with the Libs. The Telosian knew he needed to keep her in the loop, "Let's talk at your ship."
He told the Chandrilan before he left the room, and with Jalaila in pursuit, he would exit the mansion itself. Pretty soon, the pair would get on the speeder with the bodyguards. They'd take off for the landing bay, where he'd tell his lady to go inside the shuttle. Senator Fowlkes would be waiting for Senator Thanatos to catch up with him so they could talk...privately.
