| After discreetly dropping the pilot off somewhere else long before, Senator Fowlkes' personal shuttle would drop out of hyperspace. The Telosian would be the one piloting as usual. It wasn't long before he would activate his radiotransmitter and open a channel. "This is Senator Fowlkes of Telos IV. I'm requesting landing clearance." After doing so, he'd shift his head toward Jalaila, whom was sitting next to him. "We're here to meet with Senator Kuriyoshi. I'm sure you've heard of him."
The Senator slowly put the shuttle to a halt, waiting for the docking authority of Chandaar to permit him to land. If all goes according to the plan, the man would have gained an ally in the Senate.

| In the moments that the Telos IV was picked up on the Chandar Flight control, they already had a vector for the ship to reach its landing pad. With in moments their message would be replied to. "This is Chandar Flight control, your shuttle has been picked up. You will be escorted in by a fighter escort to your landing pad." With in moments, four Rihkxyrk Assault Fighters formed up around the Telos IV, guiding it down to the world of Chandar below. The landing pad already lit up for the shuttle to land. On the landing pad were a handful of guards with a speeder that was waiting already.

| Jalaila looked to Tremaine when he spoke to her. "Of course I have heard of him. Who hasn't? He is facing a rather serious censure, after all." After a few moments pause, she thought of a question. "Why are we going to see him? Is he a rebel as well? It would hardly surprise me. That is just idle senate gossip, mind you." She said casually as she leaned back in her seat and looked out the view port.
It wasn't that she was terribly unkind or cruel, just direct, and was telling Tremaine what she had heard others say about Senator.

| The Senator would speak on the radiotransmitter, "Acknowledged. Senator Fowlkes out." He would stop speaking on it, turning it off for the time being. Just as the Rihkxyrk fighters were coming into to escort the shuttle, he turned his attention toward Jalaila. "He isn't a rebel. At least not yet." He would let out a soft chuckle, "Let me guess, there's also some rumors going around about me. They got to have any kind of rumors on every damn politician out there. Tell me mine." He'd set the shuttle to autopilot, allowing it to follow the designated coordinates to the assigned landing vector.
After some time had passed, the shuttle would land onto the very same landing vector nicely. The Telosian would get off his chair and looked back at Jalaila. "We'll talk about that later. There's a few people you'll probably be interested in meeting." He proceeded to walk out of the cockpit and walked down the ramp. He'd spot the guards with a landing speeder nearby, no doubt they were there for his escort purposes. There's never too much security, as he had also brought a couple of his own bodyguards.

| The soldiers nodded to the senator as one of them opened the door to the waiting speeder, ushering them in as they each boarded the speeders in front and behind the one that now held the Senator, the remaining guards got on their individual speeder bikes as the small convey headed towards Senator Kuriyoshi's estate. A rather large mansion that sat on grounds that seemed to be larger than what the mansion needed. The grounds though were very well tended to with the many gardens, as well as statues and signs of how long the family had been on Chandar.
When they had arrived, the speeder began to slow as they stopped in the large turn around of gravel that was out front of the mansion. The guards opening the door of the Senators speeder as they nodded. Zarcaine was waiting inside, in a large office as he sat behind his desk, having already known that Senator Fowlkes was on his way in. He looked to Amneris as he smiled at her, finishing a few of the papers as he set them aside on his desk before standing up and heading to meet the Senator and greet him into their home.

| She hadn't spent an extraordinary amount of time with Zaracaine since they returned to Chandar. In fact, she had been so busy that she barely saw him. Her first trip out of the Cronese Mandate had been, in a word, disastrous, so she was trying to keep busy so that she did not have to think about it. First, it had rained nearly the whole time that they were there, then there was the incident with Moff Brandt (which she was still not convinced was something as nefarious as Zarc thought it was), and the opera, and then the dinner at Senator Thanatos' apartment. The dinner wasn't bad, simply cut short because of what the Senator touted as 'business'. Amneris simply thought that perhaps she was not good company, or there was something else going on there that she did not understand. Most of what Zaracaine did was things she did not understand.
As he finished up work for the day, she straightened his office and dusted the glass shelves that had some artifacts and nick knacks sitting on. "I made sure that the parlour is arranged for you and the Senators to have your meeting, Zarc. Everything should be set the way you want." She said before she glanced out his office window and at the patio below. "And the guest rooms are all prepared. I know that Senator Fowlkes and his guest are arriving first, but I put them in the blue room, you know, in the east wing? And Senator and Mr. Thanatos in that room with all of the pink and yellow. Is that alright?" She asked as she fussed with the window covering until is was right. "And dinner on the patio." She said before she followed him out to meet their first arriving guests.

| "I don't know, Tremaine. I stopped listening to the ones about you. I don't care." She said, rather bluntly. "Do you care what they say about you?" Jalaila picked up her rather large purse and looped it over her arm so she could follow him out of the ship. She looked rather like a fashion plate from a big city (because she was from a big city....and she loved clothes, shoes, and fashion), and would be out of place on Chandar. Especially next the wife of Zaracaine that she had heard rumors about. Rumors in the senate rotunda were nothing that she was unfamiliar with, nor would anyone have been.

| He tilted his head and looked at Jalaila, "No, not at all." The Senator didn't really speak much until the speeder had pulled up to a mansion. Tremaine simply shook his head at the sight of the mansion. The Telosian may be as rich as Senator Kuriyoshi, but he isn't the one for fancy mumbo jumbo. Especially when it comes to real estate. The man was about to open the door himself when one of the guards had opened it for him. "Thank you." He plainly spoke to the guy.
The Senator turned around and extended his hand for Jalaila to take ahold of, so he could help her off the speeder. The next thing he did was to place her hand under his arm, keeping one of his hands on her hand. His own bodyguards got out of the speeder as well, just as they were walking up the path to the mansion. The small party would await their official welcoming committee.

| Zarcaine stopped at the door of his office as he turned and looked at Amneris, his hand coming up as his finger touched her lips. "It's okay my dear. Remember, this is your household, and I'm sure you did perfectly fine in running it with out me being here." He placed a kiss on her forehead as he brushed off a few strands of loose hair from her shoulder as he brushed out the few wrinkles along with it. "You dont need to worry if I'll approve of what you do with your home my dear." He gave another smile before he asked her to straighten out the few belts that hung from his clothing before he held her hand. "Shall we go meet our guest." He gave a smile as he wrapped her arm around his and walked with her, walking through the home until they reached the large opening that greeted people into the large open hallway.
He wasn't much for the large estate, yet it had been passed down through the family for ages, along with the title, which in the recent years due to the empire, was more honorary than holding any authority behind it. He stood in the front hall with Amneris as the servants pushed open the large doors to greet the guest that had arrived.

| "It's actually our home." She murmured before she allowed him to take her hand and lead her into the main foyer. She was a little too docile for this, she thought, but she did the best she could, even if it was only being a housewife. Everything had been set perfectly, so now she just stood with Zaracaine and waited. Amneris wasn't sure what to expect with this Senator and his guest, but from what she did know, he was a nice man. Zarc would not have invited anything less to their home. He didn't trust that many, it seemed.

| Jaliala slipped her large sunglasses on as she exited the ship with Tremaine. "So how long are we staying here?" She asked as she fussed with the zipper on her handbag. Casually, she looked up as they approached the house. "nice house." She said. "Nothing like this on Imperial Center." It was a casual comment, that there was no way to argue. At least, she hadn't seen a manor anywhere on the planet.
Jaliala decided to hang back a little and let Tremaine do what he did best, unless he wanted her at his side.

| The pair, along with the pair of bodyguards, was about a few feet away from the entrance, when the Senator looked at Jalaila with a light smile. "Well, a good friend of mine, Senator Thanatos, and her husband will be coming in. So it might take a while." The Telosian was about to bring Jalaila inside, the servants were nice enough to open doors for them. He paused for a moment, "You've never seen a manor? I guess Imperial Center doesn't provide much space for one. The Imperial Palace's probably the closest."
Tremaine then escorted the beautiful lady inside, spotting Senator Kuriyoshi and his wife little bit down the hallway. He'd continue the casual walking, until he came upon the Senator of Cronese Mandate. A right hand of his were extended to Mr. Kuriyoshi as a form of greetings, for the man to shake his hand. "Thank you for inviting us. It's a nice place you have here." Tremaine was never one for small talk, but it's a good way to start a conversation with a politician.

| Despite the fact that they were going to Chandaar to visit with Senator Kuriyoshi and his wife, Ilanah Thanatos was more anxious to see Tremaine than anything else. She wasn't sure if she wanted to throttle him for the messenger, or hug him just because she was glad he was safe. The loss of Jules had been hard, a hardship that she had to bear pretty much alone, since Kal and Tremaine were the only ones that knew of the woman.
She had tried to work some on the trip, though she was not very successful in her attempt. The time with Kal was too tempting, so she took advantage of it. After all, they had only been back together a few months, and they had a few years to make up for. Once they dropped out of hyperspace, however, she went back to the room to freshen up some, and to let Kal concentrate on getting clearance and landing the ship.

| Clearance to land wasn't an issue when transmitting the codes that belonged to a Senator. They were pretty much accepted on most Imperial worlds. Both their and Riley's ship had a nice, smooth ride and an even smoother landing down at the allotted landing pad.
Upon the ships being settled down, Kal would appear in the doorway of the room Lana was freshening up in, "We've landed and there is a transport waiting for us outside." He would take a quick look of her, telling her, "You look great. Grab what you need, Riley and I can come and get the rest later."
He would pat his side, "I've already grabbed what I will need." He was making sure she knew that he was going to be carrying his lightsaber along with him throughout this entire trip.

| Zarcaine shook the Senator's hand as he bowed his head and greeted him to his home. "Senator, and ma'am" He spoke as he looked to Jalaila before his attention turned to his own wife. "This is Lady Kuriyoshi, my wife." He introduced her to the Senator and the young woman that had arrived with him. He had his own thoughts about her, yet he'd keep those in his mind rather than speculating on the exact relationship, if there was one, that the two had. He turned to the side as he welcomed them into his home, although he had called it Amneris' home, considering that she ran the entire Estate, more or less, when ever Zarcaine was gone. Even when he was home, she still had the knack with speaking to the servants, more than Zarcaine did as he had the bad habit of locking himself into the large study that was filled with books left by his father.
As they stepped into the estate, the first room they came into was the large parlor that opened up to the two winding stair cases that lead to the second floor. Hanging from the ceiling were ornate glasses of crystal that kept the hall bright. "You two must be hungry from your journey. If you are, we can have the cook make something for you to snack on before dinner. I would ask though that we wait for the other guest to arrive." Zarcaine gave another smile, which was odd, even more so if anyone had spent a long time around him. It seemed that he had a warmer demeanor in the home, than he did when he was away from Chandaar.
When the shuttle that carried Senator Thanatos and her husband, er.. well at least he was marked so on the flight manifest that had been filed by the private dock crew, had landed on the pad, a group of guards were already waiting to escort them to Senator Kuriyoshi's estate. He had sent them out to see to it that his guest would arrive unharmed and unmolested to the Senator's Estate. The man in charge of the guards approached the shuttle as he stood silently, waiting for the ramp to come down before he saw the Senator as he would speak up. "Ma'am, we're your escorts to the Senator's Estate. If you have any bags, my men will load them into the speeders for you."
