Ilanah hadn't been the same since Jules died. She refused to go to the Senate Rotunda, didn't want to go out for supper, even the promise of shoe shopping didn't lure the senator from her home office. She just worked, and slept some, barely eating. The wife in her knew that she was probably worrying Kal to death, but she couldn't help it.

Finally, Ilanah came out of her office one afternoon, having taken the time to shower and change her dress first. "We need to pack." She announced. "We're meeting Hunter to pick up our ship, and then we are heading to the Cronese Mandate. Tremaine is already there." Ilanah paused. "If you want to go. If not, I can call Riley. We all know there is no way I can fly that thing." She said, referring to the ship.

It would be obvious that she wasn't really alright, but she was better than she had been the previous few days. There was a lot of stress that she was trying to work on, so maybe a trip off planet would take care of it.

In fact, it was worrying Kal that she wasn't eating much or barely eating. She was with child and needed both. One thing, however, seemed to make things a little bit better. Hearing the news that they would be getting off of Imperial Center would probably help clear her mind and hoefully relieve a little bit of the stress and sadness. If it wouldn't, he had his ways.

He would nod and point over to a bag that he had sitting to the side of the bed, "Already ahead of you. Both of our things are packed and ready to go. We just need to pick up our ships." He would pause for a second thinking about a small thing before continuing, "Let's go ahead and bring Riley along too, but he can fly in on my ship. I don't want an incident coming up and have to leave you stranded."

She eyed the bag and then looked at him for a moment. "You picked clothes for me? Why am I suddenly afraid?" Ilanah asked as she picked the bag up, with a bit of difficulty, and opened it on the bed. She glanced through it for a few minutes. He had actually done a good job in picking things out for her, though it shouldn't have surprised her at all. "Alright....let's go....I guess." She said as she pulled the long traveling coat on that she had chosen over her dress.

The Senator would have been pretty quiet when they were on their way to the hanger bays. Then again, she hadn't talked to Kal much over the previous few days, not because of anything he had done. "Kal...I'm sorry.....it's just been....." She trailed off for a moment. "Hard. It's been....difficult." Her gaze would go to him. "I know you never got the chance to meet her, but, she was really important To me and....you know." She said and forced a smile.

"It'll get better. Soon, I hope." She hadn't once thought about their baby though, and he was now worrying her because of how stupid she had been the previous few days. "This trip will make it better." It was almost like she was trying to convince herself.

He would quickly shake his head to her apology. He felt that there wasn't a need for her to be sorry. Kal was a loving, understanding husband and knew that things were hard for her right now with losing such a close person.

"It's alright, Lana. Everything will be fine. You will no doubt figure something out. Just try and relax and not worry about it."

He took a look outside, seeing that the hangers were quickly approaching, began to become excited about seeing their new ships. Ever since losing his last ship after being taken captive, he had been wanting a new one. Finally, that day has come.

Once they were there, she would get out of the speeder. Both of them were sitting in that exact hanger, shiny and new. She was thrilled with just the outside of her personal ship and couldn't wait to see the inside. Idly, she rested a hand on her midsection, just above the smallish bump that was forming there. In general, she was hiding it, but she could have cared less if Hunter knew.

A few minutes later, another speeder showed up and Riley climbed out and he moved over next to Kal. "So....am I flying her or taking yours?" The man smirked.

Standing there, admiring the beauty of the two ships, Kal didn't want to take his eyes off of them. A familiar voice would come up beside them moments later asking which one he would be flying.

His head turned to the side just ever so slightly, "You'll be taking mine. I swear, if there is a scratch on it, I"m coming after you...." He would smile a little to Riley, letting him know he was just messing around.

Riley puffed up a big and smirked. "Please. I went through flight academy at the top of my class." He admitted. "But I am less afraid of you, than her. If I scratched her ship...." He made a motion with his fingers across his throat to indicate the cutting off of his head. Riley was also, obviously, joking.

"I hardly care which one of you flies what....I am just exhausted and want a nap." Ilanah's voice rang out from the other side of the hanger where she was standing. Finally, she walked back around to where they could see her and moved towards the lowered ramp. "Hunter? Are you here?" She called up, hesitant to go inside. It was hers, but still, it was polite.

His body would come into view at the top of the ramp, replying to the Senator's question.

"Yeah, I'm up in here. Just wanted to take a quick look and double check to make sure everything was set for you." He would motion to her, "Come on up. I'll give you a tour of the ship..."

She tossed a glanced back to the two men behind her before she went on up. Either they would follow or stay there and try to outdo each other, either way, she wanted to see her new ship.

"I apologize for the short notice, Mr. Krandor, but Kal and I need to leave for Chandaar immediately this afternoon." She said before she sat her satchel down on the small sofa in the sitting area. "And....I have a change of plans about the other matter in which you are helping me with. Are those ready for delivery?"

He would step to the side, giving her plenty of room to come aboard her new ship. He would give a simple nod to her, replying.

"It is not a problem at all, and yes...they are ready for delivery. All I need to know is when and where you would like them to be dropped off at..."

The Senator hesitated for a moment and turned her attention to her satchel, mainly so that she could collect herself. "I...here." She handed him a small card with Mika's number. "Contact her and make the arrangements." Ilanah cleared her throat for a moment. "She can handle everything." She said, positive that Mika was more than capable.

"So this is my ship? It's even prettier than yours." She said as she took a look around.

His hand would reach out, taking the small card from her, giving it a quick look over before hiding it deep down in his pocket. He would smile as she turned the conversation around and began admiring her new ship.

"That was my entire point when building this ship for you. I knew that a Senator, such as yourself, would need a classy, yet sleek vessel to be traveling in. It has everything that you will ever need for your traveling."

He would take a step off to a door, allowing it to automatically open, showing her what was inside, "This here is the kitchen. It's not that large, but it sufficiently does it's job." Then, Hunter would move off to the next door, again allowing it to open on its own, "This is the master room aboard the ship. There are a few others down the hall that can be used for whatever you wish. I've also installed a secure communications computer. It will allow you to transmit information or holo-feeds without great fear of having it intercepted and being easily cracked. Then, there is a conference room. Again, like the kitchen, it's not big, but will definitely do it's job when needed. If you wanna follow me, I'll gladly show you...." He would motion to the door that led into the room which he was referring to.

His discretion and swift re-direct of the conversation impressed her and was appreciated. He had no idea how much. She would be sure to recommend him and his company to anyone who needed a ship, or more.

Ilanah was impressed with the ship so far, even the furnishings and decor. It seemed ready to go. There were a few things she would have to add eventually, like a crib, but Hunter hadn't known about that else she was sure he would have handled that too.

"Sure....." She said, following him into the room that he had motioned to. The Senator had no idea what to expect when she walked in there.

The door would open, revealing a table in the middle, with several seats placed around it. The table itself was a holoprojector, being able to show communications as needed, or live feeds.

He would step aside, allowing her to fully enter the room with him. Once she would, the door would quickly slide closed.

"I wanted to bring you in here and fully be able to tell you the capability of this room. I know that secrecy is largely important to you, and this room could be your greatest asset. I researched that little device you brought out during our last meeting. I know you tried to keep it discreet, but I noticed it. This room here does the same thing that the little device does. No exterior communications can be made while in here, unless they are fed through the secure communications room and there is no access to that room, unless one were to tear down a wall to get to it. Only communications from this table can be made through that secure channel. Entry into this room can be controlled by only a code that you decide to input outside on the door."

He would walk to the other side of the room, "I wanted to make sure that you could conduct business from a secure, reliable location when needed..."

Ilanah looked over her shoulder when the door slid closed and latched. She walked around the table as he explained all of the features of the secret room that he had built for her. She trailed her hand over the tops of the chairs and then sank into one a few moments later. "What is the passcode?" Ilanah asked as she pressed one of the buttons on the table and the holo projector slid up. She didn't activate it, however.

Before he could answer, the Senator straightened up a little and wiped her eyes with her fingertips to brush away some tears. "It's perfect, thank you." Yes, she was getting emotional, but she couldn't help it. The last thing she wanted was for Kal to get riled up outside, but she knew it was likely now. "You have no idea how much security means to me, especially now."
