| Deschain's landing craft emerged from hyperspace deep in one of the space lanes, though off the beaten track. Ahead of him, expecting him in fact, was the EF76 cruiser Turbulence. Transmitting his authorization code, Deschain informed them that there would be a second shuttle arriving with him that would require landing briefly. For now, he waited, reflecting upon the conversation he'd had with Haran while they were in hyperspace.
Added (23 Sep 2011, 12:39 PM) --------------------------------------------- The Turbulence was running on a skeleton crew; when Deschain had 'appropriated' the frigate, he had deemed it that the less people who knew of Vil Haran's location, the less likely someone was to either kill the 'true Mandalore' or break him free. However, as Haran would have been briefed, there were several of Deschain's own loyal agent aboard who would facilitate Haran's 'escape' which would result in the destruction of the frigate to cover up any of the evidence, while also creating a plausible cover story for Haran to be able to reclaim enough honor so as to be valuable to any resistance group seeking Mandalorian aid.
When the Dark Spirit came to a landing in the Turbulence's hanger, Deschain watched as Haran was escorted away by a pair of stormtroopers. He expected Paul Gemmell was going to want to land and at least get some fresh air, so to speak, while Deschain briefed him on the next portion of the mission.

| Paul's shuttle was tagging along, landing alongside Raths when it was given clearance.. He was sure he would be fine where they were going, after all, he was not just an Imperial but also a talented poet and musician, trades which even in the most dangerous places often proved to be very useful for his own protection.

| When Gemmell landed, Deschain headed over to wait for the man to disembark from his craft. When and if the man did, Deschain would continue with the briefing. "Perhaps some of that nonsense has come out of your head during the flight. This lighthearted attitude of yours, along with your more than eccentric behavior, is not a shield where I am going. You will note, Lieutenant, that I say 'I' because you will be acting as backup from a nice safe spot in orbit where you won't get me into trouble or killed. Make no mistake, Lieutenant, regardless of who assigned you to me, this assignment is temporary. If you compromise my cover, do not expect me to blow all the work I've put in just to rescue you. In short, you're the expendable one. I'll let you die before I compromise my work. Once we are clear on that point and you agree to take the role of backup, we will have less of an issue."

| Vil had sat quietly in the shuttle, it was probably a good thing that the loud mouthed lieutenant that had been, what seemed forced upon Rath, was no where near Vil, else he might be tempted to give the lieutenant a Keldabe Kiss. Anyone who knew anything about Mandalorians though would have found Vil headbutting the lieutenant, and it had gone through his mind that such an action might not get him shocked, due to the feelings that filled the air, and also the guess that it was an action that many would like to see happen. Vil hadn't said a single word, not from being threatened about being hunted down, nor about the implants that had been put into him. He was already counting the ways to have them removed. He was hoping though that the doctor he got stuck with wasn't one that was too good, the trace scars from the procedures would help locate the bits of chips in him, unless they went through one of his other injuries.

| Paul came out of the landed shuttle, his lute on his back and his candy apples carried in a box, each individually wrapped and with a candy Imperial seal on each. "Don't worry! I am great at undercover work. I can guarantee I wont break your cover. I have those candy apples all ready if your crew would like some" he said warmly, offering the box to Rath.

| Deschain sighed, rather audibly at that, before cocking his head to the side and staring rather directly at Gemmell, or at least as directly as one could do from behind a faceless hologram. "I'll pass on the candy. So would my crew, if I flew with any, which I do not. Tell me, Lieutenant, did you inherit your uncle's brains or not? Lord Gemmell would be wise enough to take the advice of a seasoned field operative, yet you do not. If I ask you to wait as backup for me, there is obviously a reason. You are a burden, yes, but a necessary one at this time. Learn to be a team player and take orders from a superior, even if you may not like them. When you work with me, Lieutenant, I do outrank you, like it or not. Lord Gemmell would likely agree with that statement, as would Grand Vizier Pestage. We are hunting Jedi, Lieutenant. I cannot protect myself and you at all times, and as much as your dossier is a fine read, you lack certain abilities necessary for the success of my mission. Does this enlightenment aid you in understanding my orders?"

| "We will see. You wait here, I must speak to the captain briefly." Deschain turned on his heel to the sound of his vessel's boarding ramp closing as he headed for the turbolift. His ride to the bridge was swift and easy. His conversation to the captain was brief, largely concerning ensuring that Haran was well-restrained and that the ship should engage in several random jumps during its time as a prison vessel for Haran.
With the conversation complete, Deschain would find his way back to the hanger where, ideally, Paul would have waited. "We leave in ten minutes, coordinates for Nar Shaddaa, staggered jumps. Can you handle that without me holding your hand, Lieutenant?"

| "Absolutely. Give me a minute and I will change the transponder codes on the shuttle so its less obviously Imperial." Paul scuttled off to the shuttle to change its data.

| "Good." Deschain headed for his own craft and boarded without apparent incident. He received clearance to depart and eased out of the hangar, waiting for Paul before opening a channel to the man. "We will first head to Belkadan, then Xo and then on to Nar Shaddaa. It will keep up our cover story. Are you ready then, Lieutenant? If so, I will see you at Belkadan and we will undertake this pain of a mission." Added (28 Sep 2011, 10:59 PM) --------------------------------------------- When Paul made no move to reply, Deschain boarded his craft and departed the ship, then warmed up his hyperdrive. He'd give the Lieutenant a few more minutes and then jump to hyperspace.

| Deschain waited for Paul to depart the hanger, and then a few minutes longer until the Turbulence jumped to hyperspace, away on its own route. When Deschain and Paul jumped to hyperspace, then, their route was to Belkadan, but Deschain dropped out of hyperspace a bare two minutes into the flight. With a per-planned destination set, it only took a few moments to spin up the hyperdrive again and vanish.
(( Vil, this is the end of Deschain's part in this thread. It's your post in here now. ))

| Vil had been stuck in a security hold, waiting in the energy cell as he sat quietly. The entire time he was thinking on ways to get the implants out of him, yet the difficult part would be figuring out a way to do so with out getting himself killed. He leaned back against the wall as he waited for what was to come next. His hands moving back and forth slowly as he seemed to be playing an instrument, a quark he had picked up during the clone wars. It seemed to calm him and allow him to think through things as he stood up and looked to the door, waiting for the right time to get out of the cell, gather what few things of his that might remain on the ship, and return to his people.
((I guess that's all I got, my mind is pretty shot right now.))

| What Vil Haran couldn't know was that the ship was running on an extreme skeleton crew. At present, only two guards sat outside the room where Haran was contained; engrossed in a game of cards. A single imprisoned Mandalorian was not deemed a high threat, especially one delivered by a High Inquisitor, and the shifts were twelve hours at a time with little contact between the guards and the bridge. What the guards and Haran could not know was that the holocam feed of the guard station had been sliced and replaced with a ten-minute looping feed; the hall outside had been equally sliced.
Four men slid up the hallway, dressed in black body-gloves and masks and armed with silenced slugthrowers. They entered the room without the pair of guards noticing and quickly and efficiently dispatched them. The ship, in hyperspace as it was, was soon to be under their control if all went well. Working efficiently and quickly, two of the men disabled the cell while the other pair entered the containment room to address Haran directly.
"Get up, Mandalorian. We're getting you out of here."

| Vil hadn't cared much for it, spending most of the time listening to his own body as he continued to map out and try and figure out the exact location of the implants that had been put into him. He also began other plans in his head, knowing that those that followed him were smart enough to move the base as well as make their own mark while he was away. As he waited he opened his eyes once the doors opened, standing as he stepped forward and pass the two men that had entered the cell before he walked over to a locker near the guards that had just been killed. With a swift pull, he sheered the lock, then again it wasn't anything too strong, as he pulled open the door before he looked through the locker and found a couple of things that would be of use before he looked back to those in the room.
"I assume he sent you, so where are those things he promised to return to me."
