Dantooine was ringed with warning sensors and satellites, so the crew of the YV-100 Mist knew they'd be picked up right away. Their cargo was listed as a selection of fine wines from Nar Shaddaa bound for Jamulon Tiure. Providing they weren't barred from landing, they'd pay the toll, if there was one, or whatever other small fee existed for delivering cargo and then land at the Garang spaceport.

Being friendly types, the Dantooinians invited the freighter to land on Old Bill's Field (Garang Spaceport) where an elderly man waited in the customs shack with a scanner and a stamp made from a piece of potato and daubed in paint to stamp any documents that might be needed.

The men within the freighter exited in their own landspeeder, which emerged from the cargo bay with a very large crate in the rear; large enough to house a man or two and then some. One of the freight crew moved to hand the documents over to the elderly man. "Good day sir. We bear three hundred cases of varied wines, brandies and liqueurs contained in sealed lead cases for the honorable Jamulon Tiure. If you'll be so kind as to pass us through, we'll deliver and be on our way."

The old customs man tapped his scanner and pretended he was using it, its screen had broken a year ago and it hadn't had batteries for nine years, but you had to keep up appearances. "Yeah, hims be down there" he said gesturing to what resembled a spacecraft but also resembled a junkyard a mile from the field by a stand of trees. "Sure he boys can help ya. Don't fancy sharin' some 'o' that wealth do ya? Could use some brandy for my teeth. he he"

The freight-hauler glanced towards one of the men, who disappeared inside the craft for a moment and reappeared with a gallon jug of Corellian brandy, which was tossed down until it ended up in the hands of the elderly man. "Best I can do old-timer. We keep a bottle on board for, ah, medicinal purposes. Much obliged to you." Turning back to the men checking the load, he called out, "Johnson, Eric, stay with the ship!" That left himself and six others to haul the load. Down the road the speeder went. The men within began quickly stripping off seat covers and padding, assembling a small arsenal of nasty yet effective disruptor pistols that had been disassembled for transport. Their cargo, one could assume, was very important.

They arrived at the spacecraft-junkyard-home with no problem, halting far enough away as one dismounted to wait for entry.

The spacecraft was more of a bar than a home, Jamie the Hutt was inspecting his latest shipment of spice as he reclined by the bar with a few of his boys. Of course a few of the boys did sleep there, in cots in the freighter's old storage hangar, it was cool and was a lovely way to escape the heat of the day after a few too many. Jamie turned to the door when he heard that there were people here to see him.

A couple of the boys who had been sitting with their rifles under the stand of trees advanced out to meet the newcomers "What can I do for y'all hereabout strangers?" he said with a toothy grin. Another, much more obese Dantooinian walked alongside with him holding a shotcannon and examining their speeder "Mighty fine car y'got there stranger, y'all city slickas?"

"not quite, my friend, not quite. This poor specimen is a freight hauling vehicle. We come from Nar Shaddaa to bring a shipment to Jamulon Tiure, the owner of this fine establishment." By now, the disruptor pistols were tucked away under loose clothing to hide it. The leader gave a disarming smile. "Mind if I head in and talk to your boss? Then we can bring in the shipment for him to inspect personally. I believe he'll want to see it with his own two eyes."

They would be shown in by the two and be welcomed into the bar which was erected along the line of the blast door between to cargo partitions. Jamie sat on the far side of the bar pouring himself a whiskey. "How can I help you two boys?" he said with a smile speaking basic with a slight Dantooine accent, sliding a bottle of whiskey down the bar in their direction.

The ship's sensors would note the disruptors in their pockets but Jamie would not act on that, men had the right to be armed as they chose.

"Master Tiure, we bring you a very fine selection of alcohol from Nar Shaddaa. I'd like to be able to bring you in a case for sampling, if you'd be so kind?" So far it was so good. The trick would be getting the specific case they wanted inside without prying eyes outside noticing. Such secrecy was a pain, but this was a delicate operation. "If it's fine with you, I'll have two of my men bring in the case. Well, perhaps three. It's rather heavy."

Jamie gestured to the larger of the two who had brought them in "Bubba can give you a hand. Bring it in" he said in a friendly manner. The large bubba wandering out to help also.

What was brought back specifically was a rather large, sealed crate that looked more like a coffin than a carrying vessel for wines. It would be obvious that the item was heavy. When it came inside, the rest of the men did as well, two hanging back by the door with hands going slowly and carefully towards the grips of the disruptor pistols. The leader wiped a bead of sweat from his brow and then gestured towards the coffin-like case. "Master Tiure, I present to you the Lightbringer."

The case hinges swung upwards soundlessly, revealing the hollow space within from which a robed and cloaked man sat straight up. "Mr. Tiure, a pleasure indeed."

".... Howdy" spoke Jamie, slightly astonished "That can't be very comfortable"

He gestured the boys out so he could speak in private to the man, they reluctantly left.

"How can I help you? I presume y'all ain't come for a bottle of the finest rot gut?"

"Not comfortable at all, but a necessity." Brushing off his clothing, he gestured for his men to move outside along with Jamulon's troops. "A necessity born from annoyance, I fear. My vessels are far too noticeable, as is my person. I know you are a businessman, Master Tiure, and that is why I have come. I need ships; corvettes, freighters and even gunships if you can find them. The damnable Alsakan fools have called the Empire down on my home of Rinn, and I would not see them have it. In exchange for your aid, I can pay in valuable ores, credits and even information."

"Well.. I gots a number of vessels, mostly freighters, which could perhaps be of use. But you will have a hard time convincing any Dantooinian to go and fight in some distant Sector.. I struggled to even convince them doing so at Alurion was a good idea and it was a neighbour. Perhaps if I were to have the credits to buy a new vessel and put all my offworlders on it we could send it.. Dantooine boys don't like leaving the Raioballo Sector.

Are them Alsakans in strength at Rinn? Any Imperial vessels?"

"I don't know if they have Imperial vessels there yet," Shiva paced in frustration. "I don't need more troops, Master Tiure. I need ships themselves. I have peons surrounding me that can man those ships, yet I lack the vessels. Freighters though... freighters can be armed, and that's a start. As for the Alsakans? They have a token strength there; they're more of a flea than anything. Pathetic fools. If they make a surface landing they're in for a real surprise."
