Mira shrugged and finished the ice cream herself, listening to him idly as she did. "It's just the truth, Animus. No one is invincible." She didn't mean anything by it, she just wasn't afraid to admit it.

"What does the High Inquisitor want with you?" Her voice held a note of concern, but she tried not show it too much. She didn't like to show weakness most of the time, but this concerned her. "Do you think it is about that senator? Because you know, she could be silenced pretty easily." Mira sat up, frowning a little as she did. "No body, no crime?" She didn't care for senators anyway.

When he started speaking again, she tore her attention from suffocating a senator with a pillow, to focusing on what Animus was saying to her. "What do you mean...special formula.? Tell me more."

The Inquisitor shook his head when Mira spoke about his attack toward Senator Thanatos' bodyguard. "I highly doubted that's what it was about. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with me not being able to catch the Jedi." He smiled when she showed her eagerness to get rid of the Senator for him. That was the moment he leaned over to place a gentle kiss on her forehead. He pulled away almost immediately, as not to allow anyone to see that.

Animus wasn't the type to show weakness as well, which is probably why he gets along so well with Mira. One of the many reasons, anyway. Agent Naeva seemed to show a lot more interest in his secret formula. He chuckled once more, and kept his eyes gazed upon hers. "You're the only person I trust, so please don't abuse my trust. I was planning on creating an army of hybrids that are designed to surpass the stormtroopers as the dominant force in the galaxy. That's pretty much what the secret formula is all about." The dark jedi whispered into Mira's ears, so anyone else wouldn't hear them talk.

(( Just establishing a presence. ))

The solitary Lambda-class shuttle broke atmosphere above Tatooine, heading on a direct course to a docking bay in Mos Eisley. The codes transmitted should and would exempt them from any docking fees and prepare the way for the twenty passengers on-board. Captain Proul of the 1st Purifiers, Alpha Company, and twenty of his men from 1st and 2nd platoon had come with him. As the shuttle landed, they marched out in an orderly fashion. The location of Animus' last transmission had placed him at a local hospital. Moving to take up a column on either side of the road, the Purifiers made their way towards Animus' current resting place.

A frown fell across her features as he spoke. Immediately, based on the conversation so far, she wondered what Animus intended to use head super soldiers for. Whatever it was, it could not have been good. The agent cleared her throat and pulled herself to her feet. "Well...it sounds interesting. I suppose we shall have to see what happens...if you survive your meeting with the High Inquisitor. "

Mira distanced herself from the Inquisitor for the moment and she rifled through her work satchel. " I will be heading back to Imperial Center this evening, so you know. Reports and a trial to attend." Mira explained. She tried to hide her nerves and doubts in regards to what he had told her. But it was something they could talk about if they ever crossed paths again.

The Inquisitor simply nodded his head toward Mira, sensing some nervousness within her. He wasn't going to question her about it. He didn't have to. Animus perfectly understood why she was nervous. The dark jedi was asking her to betray the very same government she had dedicated her life to. It appears that he had forced her to choose between the Empire and Animus himself. He would let her ponder on the choice, though he wasn't sure how he would react if she had rejected his offer.

Just because the dark jedi understood what he was asking for in her doesn't mean he got to like it. This was an awkward moment. Animus decided to keep it from turning into a worse moment. "Then you should go now. It won't be long before the retrieval team arrives to get me off this planet anyway. I don't think you'd want them to see us getting cozy." Animus chuckled lightly. It may be forbidden to both Jedi and Sith Codes to be in love, but the dark jedi have much more freedom. However, this doesn't stop the Inquisitorus from frowning onto someone that's in a relationship.

"Yeah I probably oughta." She said as she picked up her satchel. Although she didn't voice it, Mira was very unhappy with the current situation. There was nothing either she or anyone else could have done about it, though. She spent several moments fussing with the satchel, as if she didn't want to leave. "Transport to catch and all." Mira said as she slipped her white coat on over her outfit.

She would turn to him and smile a little. "Good luck." Mira said before she turned to go. She paused in the doorway and moved back over to him. Though she thought better of it, the agent leaned over the bed and kissed him deeply, only for a few moments. She lingered close. "Don't forget who you are...." She murmured. "And come back." With that, she strode from the room, her heels clicking on the tiled flooring as she left the building and went to the hangers to catch her flight.

About twenty minutes or so after Agent Naeva departed, Animus might well be able to hear cries of alarm from the front of the hospital; cries that got louder as the tread of heavy feet approached his room. Like the impending footsteps of doom, they come on; accompanied by a thud at times, or the tingle of glass breaking. Finally, they halted outside his room, and the door slowly swung open. A red-striped stormtrooper entered slowly, looking down on the injured Animus.

"Inquisitor Animus, High Inquisitor Deschain bids you welcome. You are under arrest for the suspicion of treason, Inquisitor. You are to be taken into Imperial custody effective immediately." Even as he spoke, Captain Proul's plasma rifle snapped up to lock onto Animus, as did two of the plasma rifles of men who stood outside the door, leaving a third with an E-11 set to stun to come forward and toss a pair of binders on Animus' bed. If he couldn't cuff both hands, he could do a hand to a leg.

The Inquisitor was surprised the agent would come back only to kiss him for a few moments. He liked the warmth, even though he was so used to the coldness and harshness of the dark side. He would take in her advice, and think it over. She had given a good advice, and he would probably still dismiss it anyway. Animus thought he already know who he is. The dark jedi would lean back on the bed, and rest but didn't close his eyes.

Twenty minutes later, he heard a loud noise. It was getting louder and louder. This would probably have scared off a lot of people, but not the Inquisitor himself. Soon thereafter, a red-striped stormtrooper would get inside the room. He didn't know the man, but he recognized the outfit. It was being employed by Deschain's Purifiers. He thought it was an excellent idea to form a group of elite soldiers that is more than capable of combating the Force Users. In a way, Animus was trying to do the same thing with his...research.

He had expected their arrival. However, their reaction was not what he had expected. The dark jedi had been accused of treason. All this had done was to further weakening his beliefs in the Empire. The suspicions of betrayal within him was growing larger by the moment. A lot of things were processing through his mind at that precious moment. The condemnations from the Grand Vizier, and ordering him via Deschain to get to Tatooine only to get defeated badly by a Jedi Master. Which, in turn, only led him to be suspected of treason and being placed under arrest.

Of course, this would piss Animus off. He had two options being presented at the moment. Option one, take all four Purifiers on and then escape. He figured he could take them on. Even without his mechanical arm and his lightsaber present, he still had the Force as his ally. There was a window really close to his bed, and he could take a jump out. For someone in his condition, even trained in the Force, would be wise to avoid doing so. If he decides to ambush the Purifiers, he'd have no choice but to take the chance. Of which would only confirm the High Inquisitor's suspicions, this led to Option two.

Option two is to play along and find out why he was being put into this position. The dark jedi simply chuckled at Captain Proul, "What? I'm as much of a loyal servant to the Empire as you are. But since you said suspicions instead of the actual treason, I'll go along with Deschain's games." Animus slowly used his hand to take the binders, and moved his legs out of the bed gently. He didn't want to make any sudden moves to have them shoot at him prematurely. At the very least, he could wait for a better opportunity to escape should they decide not to play nice with him anyway. "You don't really have to cuff me. It's really uncomfortable cuffing my hand to one of my legs. You could have a couple of men keep their distance from me to have a clear shot at me should I decide to turn on you."

He would find out the next moment whether the Captain would agree to his suggestion or not.

Proul had not risen to command a company within the Purifiers without a good head on his shoulders; relatively speaking. A Force-user who stood accused of suspected treason who wanted to make trouble could likely still make quite a bit, even minus his signature weapon and one arm. Letting nothing show of his thoughts, Proul simply nodded to Animus. "You are right, Inquisitor. Even though you stand accused, you are still an Inquisitor of the Empire, long may it reign. You must be treated with all due respect and aid given to you in your moment of injury. Corporal Wilks! Approach and escort the Inquisitor from his bed, if you will."

Proul turned slightly so that the named Corporal; one of those outside the door with an E-11, could plainly see the Inquisitor on the bed. Proul's movement had been a simple sidestep, made with regular intent and no forethought of what was to come. As soon as he was out of the way though, the Corporal triggered three quick stun blasts at the presently immobile Inquisitor. Being accused of suspected treason even was enough to warrant being jailed. The comforts of living were what was afforded Animus at the moment. They weren't about to let him walk around as if nothing were amiss; only to slaughter them when he decided he would not be led along.
