Eve said nothing for several moments. "They aren't here anymore. They took the transports." Meaning those things were out roaming the galaxy somewhere, or they died, no one could have known for sure. "But ok...." She murmured as she shifted in his grasp. For a moment she wondered if he meant to destroy it with her still on it, or if he would take her with him. It didn't matter anymore, she thought, just as long as this was all over.

Jak would let go of Eve, but not before moving her off his legs so he could get up. The bounty hunter would walk over to grab the pistol off the floor before putting it back into the holster. He turned to look at the lady, "Take me to the administrator's office." He would take the strap off him, adjusting to have the Heavy Lightning Rifle in his hands. "After that's done, we need to get to the control bay and find out where they're going." He further reinforced his statement by tilting his head for a second as a gesture for Eve to lead the way.

Eve shook her head. "I don't.....I don't want to know where they're going." She had seen such horrible things, more horrible than Jak had or ever would see in his lifetime. She started through the corridors towards what she assumed were the business offices. Eve had never paid attention to the labels on the doors in that are, nor had she ever gone into any of the offices. There was no point. She had, however, seen into them when crawling through the vents.

"Let's hope it wasn't that long ago when they left." The bounty hunter would cautiously follow the lady down the hallways. It wasn't so much as a sense of duty that led him to want to stop the mutants. They had to be stopped either way, but it was more for the profits. If he had destroy the station and hunt down every mutant, he'd be well compensated by the Empire. They'd probably be pissed off at Jak for blowing the place up, but it was better than to let someone else find out about all the research.

All of sudden, he had a better idea. Jak grabbed the comlink off his belt and began speaking into it. "BX, slice into the station's database and snatch any info on whatever it is they were doing here. And turn on the self-destruct for 5 minutes." The bounty hunter was about to put the comlink back when he forget to add someting up. "Oh, a ship before we arrive left here...do your best to project their trajectory on where they're going. Merston out."

He put the comlink back on the belt, "We need to get out of here." The bounty hunter told the lady, wondering whether she would cooperate or not.

Eve had kept her distance from the man, just so she could run if need be. She brushed her fingers mindlessly through her tangled, dark hair while he spoke on the comm unit. He was going to destroy the place. A flicker of hesitation swept through her when he said they needed to go. For a moment, she just wanted to stay, dying aside. At least she wouldn't have to remember the horrible things she had seen.

Instead of bolting, she decided maybe it was best to try and trust Jak, so she did. "Alright. Where? "

So far, the woman had been cooperative. But that doesn't mean Jak would trust her enough to hand her a weapon to defend herself. Besides, if she had told the truth, then there weren't really anyone else onboard. If there was, and it doesn't includes the people that killed all those onboard, then it was Eve's fault for telling him that. Either way, the bounty hunter fully intended to blow the station up and receive some compensation from the Empire for this action. He was pretty sure they'd be pissed at that, but the authorities could easily relocate and begin their research somewhere else. The next time this would happen, it would fall upon the Imperial authorities to keep this under control, for Jak had doubts he'd see this sort of thing again. The galaxy is a vast place, there's a remote chance of someone like him stumbling upon such a place twice in his lifetime.

"Hangar bay." Jak spoke with a stern voice, heading away from the hallway the pair was presently in and made his way for the hangar bay. Hopefully, by now, one of the droids had filled the ship up with fuel.

Eve followed him to the hangar bay and her gaze fell on the ship that he had there. The droids were fueling it up and looked almost finished by her reckoning. She wasn't sure what he was doing or why he was doing it. And she wanted to understand, but she was afraid to ask him because so far he seemed....harsh. So she didn't ask.

Instead, Eve moved quietly behind the man and waited. She was still filthy and in dirty clothes, but she didn't have anything else.

By the time Jak had reached the hangar bay, the droids had just finished filling the tank up. "Let's get inside." He ordered Eve, all while walking up the ramp in order to get into the ship. The droids got into the ship right before the bounty hunter did. He wasted no time, rushing for the cockpit. "Have you set the self-destruct? Have you uploaded the data of this place? Have you pinpointed the projected trajectory?" His tone was heightened, showing that his senses were elevated. It was necessary to eleminiate every single mutant, before a plague could happen. He didn't care for health of millions of sentient beings. Jak just know that if a plague were to break out, it would be bad for the business of people like him.

The B-X computer unit replied with confirmation of all three. The light freighter were already revved up, since it was on standby. Jak brought the ship off the permacrete floor, and made sure that Eve would be on a seat before punching the ship out of the hangar bay. Flying forward, and then slightly upward, about twenty seconds later...the station would go boom.

Jak could feel his ship rocking a little bit due to the explosive effects, but remained focused. "Pinpoint the latest trajectory, and we'll follow the directions."

Eve followed Jak onto the ship hesitantly, taking her time to look around while he barked orders at the droids. She found a seat to strap herself into after he started to lift off, she didn't want to fall arse over teakettle after all. While he blew the medical station to pieces, she squeezed her eyes closed and just sat back in the seat. There wasn't a whole lot she could do to help, but if he asked, she would at least try.

The B-X would upload the coordinates of the latest possible trajectory. Thus, the YT-1300 light freighter would be pushed to the maximum speed. From the look of things, there was a shuttle moving at some distance away from what seemed to be empty space. Apparently, the mutants were intelligent enough to put their transport in a cruising speed. If there were truly any signs of intelligence, they'd be able to put the shuttle into hyperspace long before Jak's arrival at the research station. The bounty hunter considering disabling the vessel rather than destroy it for a moment. He'd make extra credits for keeping some of them alive. Then again, those researchers couldn't keep their own experiments in line. What's to say it won't happen again? Jak decided to vote in favor of destruction yet again.

Once the Kath Hound's Fangs were in range, three concussion missiles were launched a couple moments apart. The bounty hunter knew the shuttle couldn't survive this much missiles, but he decided to keep his eyes on the shuttle anyway. Within next five seconds, a bright light ensued. An explosion had occured. He turned to look at Eve, "There ya go, miss. No more of those freaks." The YT-1300 light freighter beared right, and continued to go in a straight line while the mild-mannered bounty hunter dialed in a new set of coordinates. After a few minutes of getting the hyperdrive powered up and ready to go, the ship disappeared into hyperspace. Their next destination: Nar Shaddaa.
