| It was very easily possible, though Anubis didn't realize it, that he was the best fighter in the entire group, even better than Camden Solis himself. Wit, down with the Mandalorian, was eager to learn, as were the other children. "Okay, so how do we kill them more efficiently? We got blasters and other stuff. Teach us to be better with those."

| The Mandalorian looked at Wit, along with several children that were with the teenager. He chuckled lightly, so the children were eager to learn. "I'd love to show you how, but first I need to see how you guys use your weapons. We need a shooting range, and make sure the warehouse's soundproof or something like that." The area may be abandoned, but someone's bound to hear the shots and report to the authorities. That is what Anubis and the cult does not need right now. The Mandalorian hated all this sneaking around. He prefers to take the fight directly to the stormtroopers and inflict as much damage as he can. That won't be the case here. The children are far from being Mandalorian warriors. In order to achieve a victory, it falls upon Anubis to train them to be very efficient in execution right down to the last moment.

| Wit gave a sly smile as the Mandalorian mentioned soundproofing. "In this part of the slums, it's pretty normal to hear shots. You get some drunks who pop off at the animals. Kids with blasters tryin' to show off. We got a few warehouses we move around to when we practice so there won't be too much notice. So you wanna see how we handle our stuff, huh?" Turning around, Wit drew his blaster and aimed down towards the far end of the warehouse, where a dozen or more barrels were stacked or laying down. To use the term 'aim' was loosely like saying an Ewok could 'fly' a Star Destroyer. Wit's grip was sloppy, his sight picture jittery and his trigger pull anything but smooth. His first four shots went wild before one struck the intended barrel.
"Not too bad, huh? And I'm one of the better shots!"

| The Mandalorian would be able to witness how poorly trained these kids were at shooting. "Line up, boys!" A roar would be heard from Anubis, his tone had deepened with a hint of roughness within it. Assuming that Wit and other kids would form a line-up, the armored warrior would move to stand in front of Wit first. By now, the kids would be able to sense utter dissatisfaction from the man. "That was pathetic! And you call yourselves protectors of Solis? No wonder why you lose every battle!" He'd turn around and walk a few feet forward, "Mir'osik!" He muttered to himself in Mando'a. "The price of hanging out with a Jetii..." The man muttered to himself once again.
He depised the notion that such fighters were so undisciplined, so disorganized. Then he had to go and remind himself that the children were outside the Mandalorian culture. That was the moment he had regained his composure, but maintained his aggressive state. "I will whip you weaklings into shape so you can become ruthless and effective verdse for your leader! Now, all of you give me a hundred pushups!" Anubis would bark out orders, expecting the children to listen to him since Camden had given him permission to train the kids.

| Wt and the others with him looked abashed at the Mandalorian's chastening of his shooting. However, Solis had said they were to listen to the man, who could ideally train them into some kind of effective fighting force. Despite the amount of grumbling, and despite the fact that many of the children would not be able to do more than ten pushups with any real ease, they all dropped in a long single line and began struggling mightily to fulfill the pushup requirement set out by the warrior. Wit, his head hanging and face red with anger and shame, was one of the ones who pushed the hardest.

| The Mandalorian warrior would take his sweet time approaching to every single one of the children. That was before he'd move away from them so he could speah to all of them at once. "Children! The first and foremost basic rule to becoming an efficient fighter is conditioning. You won't last long in a battle without proper exercises. That is what we are going to do first, before you learn how to become deadly shooters." Anubis began pacing back and forth slowly, before grinning slightly inside his helmet.
"When you're done, do twenty laps around the warehouse."

| The children, unused to working out in such extremes and many ill-nourished or underfed, were already tired, so while their devotion was strong, many flagged out in the first lap or two, but continued to try and jog, listening to their new teacher. Camden was present as well, watching from the shadows at the far end of the warehouse behind some rubble. While he had trouble trusting the Mandalorian, it seemed the man was what was needed to at least give his small army hope.

| The Jedi are well known with the abilities in winning wars. So does the Mandalorians. Anubis knew fully well, Camden's army cannot win a battle with the Imperials if they continued not to have the fundamentals. He had to give them a mentality that every skirmish could very well be their last. The warrior could also tell the children weren't able to keep themselves up to the Mandalorian's training that was harsh. It was because they weren't well fed and because they did not have the proper mentality for as long as the Jedi kept treating them this way.
He'd let out a sharp whistle in order to stop the kids from running around the laps. Then the man waited for them to return to forming a line. "Here's a tip. You can't stay in shape if you don't eat enough. You don't expect to survive an encounter against some of the Empire's best stormtroopers in your current condition, do you? Unlike your leader, I'm not going to send my men into the battle without having all basic needs being met. If you want to become the warriors the Empire would fear, then you know what to do."

| The children dealt with their problems as best they could. They were poor and unable to obtain a lot of things that a normal army would have. Nonetheless, as time passed, their skills increased. Two months passed, and the boys were now turned more or less into the best that the Mandalorian would have to work with; some of course, the older ones, would have a chance of things in a normal military if they continued their training, but there was only so much that could be expected of children. Now, at least, the Mandalorian and the Jedi had a fighting chance.

| Anubis was able to see the children developing into at least the warriors in training. They hadn't earned his respect yet, they would have to do that in actual combat if they wanted to start earning his respect and trust. Even the Jedi hadn't earn his complete respect and trust yet, the cult had yet to deliver a significant blow to the Empire. They were just a ragged group of fighters that wanted to keep the Jedi alive. Nevertheless, they had agreed to help Anubis with his task if he had helped them with their own task. Both tasks are equally difficult to pull off, but the Mandalorian warrior wanted nothing more than to have a challenge of gaining honor and glory in battle. That was the way of his people.
The Mandalorian would turn to look at Camden, "We can only do so much with the training. I believe it's time to give them a test. We'll start small, ambush a few patrols that lurks around here. What do you think, Jetii?"

| Camden was still a rather timid man, not that he let on as much to the Mandalorian, but it was no doubt the warrior could read it from him. After all, Camden was still craven, even after so many years. Nonetheless, he could not back down now, not after the warrior had put so much time and effort into making the boys what they were. "Pick out a patrol then, Mandalorian, and take the boys whom you think most capable with you. Do not risk all of them too soon, of course. I will remain behind at this time. It would not do for the Empire to realize a Jedi is still alive on Coruscant."
