| Camden Solis was not what one would expect as a Jedi. At twenty-one, he had been one of the last padawans raised to knighthood. Scrawny, balding badly, with only a fringe of hair left around an otherwise bare head, he looked nothing like the Jedi from the posters of long ago. In fact, though he never cared to admit it aloud (though it was on his mind often), he was craven as well. As one of the few who had been on Coruscant when the Jedi Temple was sacked and destroyed, he had fled to the under levels, disguising his true nature as he scurried blindly from hole to hole to stay alive, his lightsaber useless at his belt for fear of discovery. In the following years, he had eked out a miserable existence living among the more foul and lawless aliens and humans and creatures on the lowest levels, where the sun never reached. He lived by the Force, less than a Jedi by code, which had become dim to him as he clung to fragments of honor and justice, while using persuasion to convince others to part from their credits. Two years after he ventured into the depths, he found the courage to emerge, a twisted, wretched man who had lost his way, but was fueled by a hatred for the Empire and what it represented.
If the Empire had caught him by his fifth year, they would have indeed been able to tie the title of pederast to him, though he never abused children in a sexual manner. To the urchins and street teenagers of the under levels, he was a strange capering figure who told them stories and, over time, recruited many as his eyes and ears. Children, after all, could go places unnoticed that adults would be apprehended quickly. People talked around children with nary a thought as to what they would pick up and listen to. With a valuable network, Camden Solis quickly became a broker of information, shrouded in the mystery of the under levels. After six years, he began to use that information tentatively. He was still sane enough to know that use of a lightsaber would bring Imperials down on him like none other. His children appropriated several blasters and a disruptor pistol from various sources to bring to him, and he slowly began arming his children and himself. He vowed to protect them, as he had been unable to protect the Jedi who had trained him; had granted his knighthood.
Six and a half years into his exile, Camden Solis struck back. Accompanied by ten of his children, they ambushed, badly, a squad of Coruscant Security Forces in a raid that killed four of the Empire's men and left five of his children dead. Solis fled back to the under levels, still anonymous, to contemplate his tactics. Over months and years, they became more refined; a strike here, a strike there, always fading back down deeper into the levels where even the feared stormtroopers would not go, and if they had to, they went in force. While the Emperor might rule Coruscant, there were some places on the planet that his authority did not touch as well as others. It was in these places, these forgotten, darkened realms, where Solis meditated and practiced and embraced the Force. He was no longer truly a Jedi, though the thought never occurred to him. The ends justified the means, and the call of the dark side was something that had sang for so long in his ears that he had nearly completely forsaken the light.
Children grew to be men and women though; never enough to rise from the depths, and they stayed with him, an odd, cult-like family that grew and spread with their benevolent, if delusional protector. Over time, one could assume that it was the darkness itself that resided on Coruscant and permeated the very Force of the planet that corrupted Solis. One could assume that it was the loss of children who died from lack of medical treatment; sick or injured, that even Solis could not save through the Force. One could assume that, somewhere within his wracked, tortured, guilt-filled mind, he wanted to make amends for that flight so very, very long ago. He could no longer take the darkness, the oppression, that lay across the Force like a heavy blanket. He could not strike at the darkness itself; instead, he would fight those who championed the dark. He and his children would kill them, one by one by one, and to Solis' mistaken mind, this would pull back the darkness like a thundercloud melting away before the sun. Perhaps it was because of all so many years in near-total dark, but he was blessed with an ability to 'see' the darkness; an ability he'd used to place a number of Palpatine's servants who were not known to the common people.
Drawing up plans and ideas, he sought an exodus for him and his children; an exodus of vengeance against the Empire that would pour forth from the under levels in a riot that would draw those dark beings down... where he would destroy them.

| There were a string of bad luck for Anubis. He had orchestrated a failed rebellion on Mygeeto, which forced his hand in leaving. He met up with a Jedi but was hung out to dry when he tried to help the Jedi break into the Imperial prison on Dathomir. The Mandalorian had managed to escape the prison, despite all the resistance. He had rescued another Jedi on Imperial Center, only to have the Jedi get captured by the Imperials. It appears that despite not having the ability of the Force, he kept having the ability to escape. Anubis believed that it was because not being able to use the Force had saved him.
The Mandalorian Protecter was still on Imperial Center, not long after his Jedi buddy had been captured. Anubis had to abandon Katarn-class commando armor and DC-15 Interchangeable in favor of Mandalorian Shocktrooper armor, an EE-3 carbine rifle, and a couple of WESTAR-34 blaster pistols. His preferred armor and weaponry will still attract some attention, but not the kind that would bring the full force of the Empire to bear upon him. Anubis would relish the challenge, but there's a fine line between brave and insane. There was a reason he was still present on the Imperial Center. Specifically, inside the underlevels.
Kenas Annig may be a Jedi. He may not be a Mandalorian. However, Anubis has a high sense of honor and duty. He was taught to never leave people behind. That is the reason why, at this moment, he is taking a stroll on a public sidewalk through the underlevels inside his armor and helmet with the EE-3 carbine rifle in his hands. There may not be Mandalorians in this specific place of the planet, but there's still a lot of people that despise the Empire down there. This is his one shot at finding help on this planet. Should this task fail, he would attempt to travel to Nar Shaddaa to find better, more formidable help.

| Mandalorians were that sort of which most common people were never truly fond of. That being said, a Mandalorian sporting the armor and arms of Anubis' like was even more widely avoided. Despite those who moved across the street, so to speak, to avoid the dangerous being, Anubis might take note of the fact that, upon entering a certain area of the underlevels, the children did not shrink back in fear. In fact, several of the children, even as young as eleven, were holding blaster rifles or pistols and in one case, a rather nasty disruptor pistol clutched by a scared but determined-looking girl. If Anubis passed through, he'd be left unmolested. Trying to take weapons from the children was like as not to get him a load of trouble even he wouldn't be able to dig himself out of easily.
Of course, there was another watcher, from a shadowy window, standing far enough back that the already-dim light from the street could not unmask him. A Mandalorian on Coruscant, especially this deep, was a curiosity to Camden Solis, and since said Mandalorian had wandered into 'his' territory, he was intrigued to see what the man would do.

| Indeed, Mandalorians are known to be formidable opponents. Even to the Jedi and the Sith. Anybody was a Mandalorian on a one-man mission to destroy the Empire. He needed to find some help.sometime soon, or he's going have to waste more time and resources in going offworld. When he walked along one of the streets in the underlevels, he noticed something out of place. Sure, this particular area of Coruscant was dangerous. However, he rarely had a chance to see teenagers outside the Mandalorian culture holding weapons like it was something they had done every day. That type of appearance would surely attract attention from various kinds of people. Perhaps even Imperials.
They don't look like the type that has leadership skills. Someone had to be pulling the strings. Maybe thy could be useful to his current task. Who knows? He was willing to give anything a try as long as he could at least kill a few Imperials. Anubis slowly turned around Nd walked toward one of the children. A Mandalore accent would be heard, "I need to speak with your leader." That was all he sold simply say at the moment. He wanted to see their reaction first.

| The child whom the Mandalorian approached was a bare nine years old, yet still cradling a blaster rifle. In fact, when the Mandalorian approached, he would find himself the target of no less than twenty blasters and assorted weapons as children further back in alleys and from the decrepit building above leaned out to keep an eye on him. Oh, to be sure, he had them all in combat experience, but sometimes, the number of weapons mattered. The little nine-year-old boy looked up with an insolent grin as only children can give and pointed with a small, stubby hand back across the street to a shabby apartment building. "Wit's in there. He's my older brother. I s'pose you could talk to him, mister. He doesn't like people with a lot of blasters in our 'hood though."

| Anubis would look down at the nine-year old boy, then looked around the surroundings. He did a head count, and it was twenty weapons that were pointed at him. The child would hear a light chuckle from inside the helmet. He didn't mind the challenge. Children were usually not as smart and as effective as the older sentient beings were. However, he was not up for a needless firefight for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they were children so there's no honor in slaughtering them. Secondly, the numbers were on their side. If he was to make a mistake, they could easily pick him off. Good thing this Mandalorian was not up for a fight against twenty children.
Anubis slowly turned his head and looked toward an apartment complex that doesn't seem like the fussy kind. "Wit, huh?" That was a strange name. The warrior would continue to wield the EE-3 carbine rifle in his hands to show that he was not to be messed with. A Mandalorian should not be messed with, especially the vengeful ones. A thundering sound from his footsteps would be heard as he slowly makes his way toward the building to meet with Wit. He stopped and looked back at the boy, "Don't worry, I don't shoot people unless I'm being shot at. The only people I shoot without mercy are the ones in white armors."
The Protector eventually made his way into the complex, looking around to see if he could find Wit.

| Wit, as it happened to be, was a tad older; a ringleader for this group outside. At fifteen, almost sixteen, he was a man grown in the underlevels and armed with a nasty disruptor pistol. Having been on three raids against stormtroopers and survived, he was understandably less wary of the Mandalorian than her should have been, but youth and youthful arrogance were an issue with boys of that age, or even young men. "A Mandalorian, huh? What brings one of your kind down here? Hunting a bounty?" The air in the room, filled with slightly older children, was quite tense. The Mandalorian wouldn't know it, but he was being watched from the shadows as well by the larger group's true leader, Camden Solis, who was assessing this man and why he had come. If he had come to capture or kill Solis, he was not about to leave.

| Anubis would enter into the room where there were slightly older kids, which appears to be a little more reasonable. The Mandalorian became a man at age of thirteen himself, according to the Mandalorian customs. However, it is very different for the cultures outside the Mandalore Space. He retained his composure when he could read how arrogant Wit was. He was good at reading body language. Then again, what teenager isn't arrogant? He simply brushed that off, and sported a scoff. Walking toward and standing in front of Wit, the warrior began to speak in Mandalore accent. "You're funny, you know that right? Not all Mandalorians are hunting for bounties. I'm here to seek some help in rescuing a friend from some whites."

| "And what does that have to do with the price of kaf in the underlevels, huh?" Wit sat up straighter. "You're not likely to find much help down here. We have enough problems of our own and-" The sound of a man clearing his throat across the room interrupted Wit and he fell silent respectfully, looking towards their father-figure as Camden Solis approached, the children making way for him as he approached. "A Mandalorian... I've not seen one of your kind for a long time. You're not known for having many friends either, just contracts and enemies. We have no wish to involve ourselves in a larger struggle as of yet with the Empire."

| The Mandalorian would roll his eyes inside the helmet. Obviously, it won't be seen by the children. However, his head turned around a little bit to indicate that. He was about to shot a remark toward Wit, when he heard a throat clearing and the room fell deathly silent. Anubis slowly turned his eyes toward a man walking toward him. Finally, an adult present. The guy had to be the leader. Perhaps a cult of some sort. It fits the description if indeed he's the only adult. It wasn't the sort of people Anubis would usually associate himself with, but times are desperate and they had hinted that they were enemies of the Empire.
Anubis wasn't much for words, but when he says something, it usually means something. "Yet? Well, don't you want a chance at gaining a valuable ally? You would be having an even greater ally if you help me rescue my friends. It'd be useful to have a couple of battle-hardened veterans help your children beat the crap out of the stormtroopers, don't you think?"

| "These are children, Mandalorian. They may not be considered children by many, but if the Empire has your friend, then he's likely in a maximum security facility... or worse." The man's voice was curt, and it was obvious he didn't trust the Mandalorian. Despite the disruptor rifle he carried, when he shifted in agitation, Anubis might well be able to see the lightsaber hung at his belt. "My family and I, we are suited to small raids; pinpricks. Stormtroopers when we can risk it; minor Imperials, informers, spies, sympathizers. I don't have armor and explosives."

| The Mandalorian would nod out of confirmation, "Yeah, he's a dangerous fella." He indeed did spot a lightsaber attaching to the man's belt. "That's quite a weapon to have. Either you're a Jedi or you've killed one. Either way, you're worthy. My friend have one just like that." Anubis decided to reveal that his companion was a Jedi, and wanted to see how the man would react. If this man was really a Jedi, he would probably want to rescue a fellow Jedi. If not, he'd miss an opportunity of inflicting severe damage upon a prison and make himself a name among the Empire and the resistance groups looking to recruit people.

| Camden's face twisted for a moment in what well could have been anguish before he stilled it to an emotionless state. While other Jedi had fought and died and went on to fight still, he had remained here, relatively safe. The Mandalorian couldn't truly understand the concept of cowardice, Camden felt, and a coward was what Camden was. Nonetheless, perhaps there was a way he could be useful to the Mandalorian while the Mandalorian could be useful to him in turn. "I can try to help you spring your friend. What I once was, what I am now... it doesn't matter anymore. I'll help you on one condition: you help me. There's an Imperial on Coruscant, a powerful one. He has a retinue with him... a bunch of stormtroopers in red armor. Help me kill or capture him and I'll help you free your Jedi friend."
