A Quick Stop on Chandrila

| Ilanah threw her datapad down in absolute disgust. The device bounced from the seat beside her and clattered onto the metal floor and slid across the sitting room. It made her panic when he responded like that. It made her wonder even more if asking him to be caught had been the wrong thing. Kal could freefall and she wasn't sure she could stop it. It had been too risky and she had been so stupid and so selfish. The Senator pushed herself to her feet and paced the floor, her cobalt gown grazing the floor with each step she took.
"Riley!" She yelled, her normal grace and decorum shattered by worry. "Riley we're going home first." She said as she made her way up to the cockpit. "Just for a bit. I need to get a few things before we continue on to Coruscant." The man would nod after giving her a concerned look. They were close, so it wouldn't be a problem at all to make the stop, especially if she needed it.
"Go back and relax." He said quietly as he reset coordinates. "It won't be long." The man made it clear that he worried for her, and her baby. Someone had to right now.
"Relax." She let out a deep sigh. "Easy for you to say." But still, she did it, and would remain as such until they landed on Chandrila.

It was only a few hours before the bulky bodyguard pushed the front door of Ilanah's manor on Chandrila open for her. She moved past him and dropped her work satchel in the hallway with a thud before she walked away and left Riley to do what he did best.

| It had taken several different hops between shipment vessels before he had finally arrived to his first destination. Finally, he had been given a high priority mission since his 'enlistment'. This one, however, would be a difficult one to accomplish, mainly due to his second destination and the overall mission.
Once having set down in the capital, Aiden had made his way to the manor that housed the planet's Senator. It had been years, but he wasn't too sure if this was the same woman that he had met over a decade ago. If it indeed was, there was a great chance that he could get the help that he so needed.
The front door to the manor could easily be heard from where he had hidden himself upstairs. His senses stretched out. Three different lives could be felt, two in one and splitting off from the third. That had to be her. He would wait till she was further away from the third and closer to him. He wasn't wanting to scare her, but knew if he would jump out at her, things could get pretty bad for him. For now, he would wait for the opportune moment when she came closer.

| Ilanah went upstairs, leaving Riley to do whatever he needed to do. She walked into her bedroom and kicked her high heels off before she pulled her cloak from her shoulders and threw it onto the vanity chair. Her emotions were everywhere and she was on the brink of tears. It wasn't anyone's fault but her own, and she knew that, but she did not want to admit it.
With a resolved sigh, the Senator moved over to the window so that she could look at the gardens behind the manor. While she enjoyed being on Imperial Center, she missed the tranquility of home and the greenness of everything. Imperial Center was so concrete and cold. Hardly anything grew there unless it was forced to.

| His eyes followed her as she passed by where he was hidden away. It was when she had entered into the bedroom, he would slowly sneak in, noticing her standing at the window, looking out.
He had to make this fast. His mission was time sensitive. He would stand far enough back to not really present a threat, but close enough so he didn't have to talk too loud.
"I need your help, Lana..."
Aiden would stand there, hoping for the best. It had been a while since they'd seen each other and he knew she would be the only one he could ask for help from outside of the network of Libs he had met so far.

| When she was not on Imperial Center, the Senator had taken to not hiding her condition. To her, Caden was a blessing, no matter who his father was or what his father was. As she stood there, she rubbed her stomach lightly. It was far too soon to feel him kicking, she thought, but at that moment he did. And again, and again. Seconds later, she heard Aiden's voice behind her.
She whirled around, not recognizing him because it had been so long and she started to cry out for Riley to come help, unless Aiden would stop her of course. In those few seconds, panic flashed across her face and wrenched her gut tightly. "Riley!" Unfortunately, she wasn't taking the time to realize who it was, she was startled and just remembered the last time someone had entered her home without her knowing.

| Instantly, as she turned, Aiden saw the fear and panic on her face. He threw his hands up, trying to show her that he wasn't there to harm her at all.
"Lana, it's Aiden. Kal's little brother...."
He would turn and close the door behind him, locking it as he could hear the guards footsteps coming up the stairs fast.
"Please...call him off. We need to talk...."
He braced himself against the door, trying as hard as possible to keep the larger man out of the room where they were.

| Once she took the few seconds to actually look at his face, his eyes, she frowned briefly. "Wh....what are you doing here?" She stammered as she took a step from the window and moved a little closer. "How did you find me?" It should have been obvious, she was the Senator of the planet. They did share a surname, even if hers was taken during a marriage.
"Did Kal send you?" No, she thought, Kal had barely remembered her, why would he remember Aiden? She heard Riley pound on the door, and saw Aiden brace himself against it.
"I'm sorry, Riley....I thought I saw a bug or something...." She explained through the closed door as she looked at Aiden. "It's alright..." Ilanah sighed as she heard him outside for a few more minutes and then she heard his footsteps down the hallway.

| Just as the bear of a man was about to knock the door down, he was called off by the Senator. Aiden took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Everything could have been over right then and there if not for her.
"Thank you...wait...did you say Kal? You know where he...never mind. We'll discuss that later. Right now, I need your help. It wasn't that hard finding you, your name gives it away."
"Lana, this may sound crazy, but I need to get on Coruscant. There's a man that I need to help get off of the planet and get him to the people that need the information he has...can you help me?"

| The Senator hesitated as Aiden told her what he needed. Luckily, Krandor Industries had built her a fantastic ship, with a lot of places to hide a person if needed.
"I am on my way there now....to meet your brother...." She said slowly as she nodded her head. "I can take you, of course." Ilanah smoothed her hands nervously over her gown. "Who sent you to do this, Aiden? It's dangerous....and stupid....." She said, speaking the truth.

| His brother was alive? He couldn't believe it. Up until this moment, the entire family thought he was gone and now here he is, on Coruscant, meeting back up with Lana. It was a crazy thought, seeing his brother.
"I...don't think it would be smart to put that kind of information in your hands. Let's just say, they are a group of rebellious people, wanting to bring the Republic back."

| She watched him silently for a moment. It was obvious that he didn't know what to think, based on the look on his face. The Senator smiled sympathetically and shook her head.
"Why don't you think it would be smart?" She asked as she took another step forward. "You've already told me what you're doing....so who sent you?"

| She did have a point. He had already divulged to her the mission he was on, so why not tell her everything.
"You are right. Well...as of a couple months now, I've been working for the Libs. I was sent on this mission, cause this man on Coruscant, has some information on Jedi locations and the Libs, I would believe, want to keep that information safe."
Little did Aiden know, the woman he was standing in front of was one of the secret leaders of the very same group of rebels that had sent him out on this mission.

| She actually laughed out loud, clasping a hand lightly over her mouth as she did. The Senator turned and sat down in one of the comfortable chairs in the sitting area of her room, and rested a hand lightly at her stomach where Caden had kicked her minutes before. "The Libs, huh? Did you talk to Mika?" She asked as she took a breath to calm her laughter. How small the Galaxy felt now. "He should have told me." But she did understand why he wouldn't. Of course they wouldn't have wanted to upset her.

| A puzzled look came across his face at first when she began to laugh, then it just added on when she had mentioned the woman's name that he had met with when he had 'enlisted' into the Libs. How was it that this Senator knew this person? Could she have known more than he had first believed she did? Perhaps.
"Um...Yeah. How do you know her? Are you apart of them as well?"

| "You could say that, Aiden." She murmured as she stood once more. "Your brother is too. Unfortunately, he is in a more dangerous position than he should be. A mistake a good leader would not have made, and a mistake that we will not make with you." She said, rather cryptically.
Even though the blue eyed young man was still standing there, she set to gathering the things she came for. Clothes for her and some for Kal as well for the party they would he attending on Lorrd shortly. She looked to Aiden for a moment and let out a soft sigh before she moved over and embraced him. "Im sorry....I should have said earlier....I'm glad you're alive." The Senator pulled back for a moment, taking those brief seconds to replay any memories she had of him in her head. In the end though, those memories always went back to Kal. Her husband, and Aidens older brother.
"Come on...let's get you onto Coruscant."
