She was catching up on the current events via the holonet shortly after the Star Petal came out of hyperspace near Chandaar, the seat of the government of the Cronese Mandate. She had been discussing a visit to the world with Mr. Goodchild to discuss trade relations, and establishing and improving upon any relationship Empress Teta and the Mandate might have.

She was intrigued by the Mandate, an obscure, Outer Rim hegemony. She had been quite impressed with Dantooine, despite its agrarian and backward ways, (and quite successful in her negotiations if she thought so herself), hopefully the Mandate visit would prove as productive.

Commander Dent keyed in the commands to send a message to Chandaar Space Control, asking for permission for the Senator's diplomatically marked vessel to approach and land on the world.

When her vessel landed, a security guard, along with a couple others were standing by on the landing pad, waiting as they crossed their arms behind their back. "Miss or Mrs. volFyr, we were asked to escort you to the Government building." The troopers stood silently as they stepped to the side to escort the woman to the waiting speeder that would take her to a meeting with Senator Goodchild.

Miss or Mrs. volFyr? She nearly laughed at the manner in which the guards addressed her. Surely had there been some question as to her marital status and proper address, they could have simply addressed her as Senator? Outer Rim worlds, she thought as the guards explained that they were to escort her to her meeting with Senator Goodchild. It certainly wasn't the greeting she had received from Senator Ray's Khoonda Administration, but perhaps it was simply a cultural difference, the Mandate did have the (perhaps) unjustified reputation of being a rather brutish place.

She and her handmaiden, Emile, were led by the guards to the appointed meeting place with Mr. Goodchild by the dutiful guards.

The Senator from Empress Teta was informed that regrettably, Mr. Goodchild would be unable to meet with her.

So, along with her staff and the crew of the Star Petal, Senator volFyr departed Chandaar once more.
