Outside, in the hallways of the Senate building, the Deralian office was noticeable. At all times, day and night, a member of the world's Praetorian Guard, it's elite bodyguard unit comprised of the absolute best it's military had to offer, stood guard on both sides of the entrance. Within the anteroom, on the opposite side of the entrance and the door to the Senator's office, the same display was also constant. As was the same on the other side of the door to the Senator's Office, with four Praetorian Guard's standing in the corners of the office. Deralia was well known for it's pride in its military, and the Praetorian Guard had remained in service for over eight thousand years, continuously. This display was part-intimidation, at least in the eyes of some, but primarily, a nationalistic display of pride. It was tradition, and that tradition was the only reason Aurelius allowed it to continue. She felt, being more of an ambassador and diplomat, that it sent the wrong message. She had less of a problem with the twelve guards who were in a security room off to the side of the office, alternating between sleeping and observing security feeds... alternatively, she didn't quiet like the fourty-eight Praetorian Guards that resided at Raven House, or the twenty-four that shared responsibility of her mobile protection; thankfully, it was not often all twenty-four would do so.

In her office, she was on a private holocall. She would continue it until Senator volFyr arrived. It was, in fact, her assistant and secretary, Nazli Bashandi, a young girl from one of the moons of Deralia, whose family had come from Hana, one of the planets in the system. She sat and watched an unidentifiable political news HoloNet channel, a common occurrence in her downtime, which it was at the moment. She preferred to keep herself aware and informed, to better help the Senator in her duties as such, and as Queen. She also used the time to destress, enjoying a glass of herbal tea with her sandals, a traditional Deralian footwear (her's being a thong style with one-inch high heels), off and near her feet. She was wearing a traditional Deralian stola, her veil, however, was laying on the table. It was in this state she would sit, and wait, for the Senator's arrival.

She had returned to Imperial Center some time after receiving Queen Augusta's letter, and after attending to some business that required her immediate attention on the seat of Imperial power, she made her way to the Raven House that Queen Augusta had asked for her to meet her at. She considered for a moment that she had so far been unable to visit Illanah on Chandrila, something that made her decidedly less than content - just from the Senate alone, she liked Illanah far more than Queen Augusta. However, she was a diplomat - and diplomats do diplomatic things.

It was in this mindset, that wearing a cherry red strapless dress she would arrive at the Raven House. She was traveling alone - in this part of Imperial Center, she hardly saw the need for body guards or other protection, considering that between Palpatine and Moff Brandt, well - Imperial Center was quite a safe place for upstanding Imperial Senators. She'd approach the front door of the Raven House with the intent of going straight inside to find Queen Augusta - and if challenged by the copious amount of Deralian guards, she'd of course identify herself (verbally and with her her identification card) and explain that she had been invited there by her Queen, who were they to delay her?

She was carrying a small red clutch that had concealed within it a considerably short vibro dagger, intended purely for self defense. While she didn't see the need for armed guards, it would be simply irresponsible to not be carrying something with which she might deter a determined attacker.

((Oops! I totally miffed the location! Sorry! I'll try to recover from that here... uh, just assume any references above to being in the Senate Building being in the house.))

Raven House sat in the location of the former Draay Estate. Deralia had taken over the property several years after its orbital bombardment by the Republic Fleet, and at the time wanting to expand its galactic influence, decided to build its own embassy/state house on Coruscant, opting out of a Senatorial apartment. They were able to obtain the vacant property for little cost, having been previously reduced by that time to the walkway into the structure, and adjacent levels, and its gardens. The Deralians based the design of the new building on the grounds off of this, leading to what could be best described as a "militant Naboo" architecture.

At the walkway, stood two Praetorian Guards. They would greet the Senator, with a third coming out of the small building that served as part guard house, part security check point. "Welcome, Senator vol Fyr, if you'll follow me, we must have you checked in security, It is simple procedure." said the Captain, who would motion her inside. Inside she would be patted down, and her clutch checked. The guardsman inspecting it was questionable about the blade, but the Captain nodded his approval, and she was given the clutch and its contents, back. Once this was over, the Captain would lead her through another doorway and into the rest of the walkway. The stairs, which went up five full stories, would eventually lead into a massive courtyard.

The Senator would be lead across the courtyard and into an office that was similar in layout to those in the Senate Building. She was led past the secretary, who while startled by the sudden appearance, somewhat maintained her composure to rise and give a respectful bow to Senator volFyr. "My Lady," she said, slightly blushing. The Captain would proceed to open the doors to the Senator's office. volFyr would be greeted with a small, simple, and slightly revealing moment. She was in the middle of a holocall with her husband, who was still hospitalized. He was telling her of his recovery, and the odd memories he had developed of the events surrounding his injury, which the doctors said would pass with time. "I love you..." she said, he voice slightly trembling revealing her utter loneliness at the time. This would, later, urge her to final depart Imperal Center and return to Deralia for a small vacation.

When she noticed the entrance, her husband gave a visual nod and she ended the conversation, having expected the Senator's arrival at any moment. "Your Majesty, I present to you, Senator Avadrie volFyr," spoke the Captain, before turning around and closing the doors behind him, leaving the two Senators enclosed within her office. Of note were the walls, which aside from a full wall window behind the Senator's desk, revealing a view looking towards the Senate District, there was nothing but bookshelves, from floor to ceiling, filled with honest books; bound, covered, and filled with paper pages. It was an abstract hobby of the Queen; she preferred books to datapads anyways, as she loved the feel and smell of the books. She rose from her chair, giving a polite bow towards the Senator and motioning for her to join her off to the side in one of two lounge chairs which sat in the middle of the room. As she walked to one of them, she spoke, "While I understand some diplomatic procedure might implore you to address me by my regnal name, please, refer to me as Augusta Aurelius. Were is not for this dual-rule status of my world at this time, I'd simply go by that. One thing you will find though, the Deralian people love their regents... and tradition," she said with a laugh, trying, probably unsuccessfully, to break the ice between them. "Did you have any trouble finding the estate?"
