Set Up: Abregado-san

| Abregado-san, a dusty little desert world that many had said, for some time, was rather unstable. Jerome Twist, however, was a daring man; daring enough to bring elements of his construction company to the planet in search of possible renovation to boost the economy. Of course, on worlds like this, it paid to bring one's own hired security team as well, which explained the armed mercenaries he'd hired on. For now, having set foot on the world, he was unimpressed. Step two was meeting the local government and setting up shop.

| Abregado-san had some space security and they were on the route of adding some more space ports, and a lot more space defense to the planet, however their planetary force was fine, they had no reason to be threatened by anyone. Akku, 'Leader' of the planet was often looking for more ways to defend his planet, and if this new ship that had touched down wanted to make a business deal somehow, he was all for it.
The landing port where this ship had landed would be able to hear an automated voice recording which listed places to go. Their was the cantina, Shuttle to the house of government officials, and multiple other places. Most people that landed here went for the cantina, few went to the official government building. however the directions were given, and security was always on alert. Decades of fighting in a civil war made most of Akku's security enforcement officer's extremely sharp.

| Abregado-san was known for its hot climate and a civil war that never seemed to end. Still, there was money to be made, even in a place like this. It was for this reason that Twist and several of his foremen, along with a handful of mercenaries, boarded a hover-truck that was unloaded from their landed freighter and made for the government building as per the instructions given in the automated recording. When they arrived, all would disembark and tromp on in, providing they were not impeded. It was Twist and three foremen and six mercenaries in total; a nice little party of ten, who were hunting for the planet's leader.

| The directions to find the planetary leader would be at the throat of the world, atop a hill in the province of Abregado.
((short post I know, but all I could really think of, especially since I forgot to actually give directions in my last post. Lol.))

After a bit of searching, the planetary leader, Akku by name, apparently, was found, and Twist and his foremen would go within whatever building was necessary to speak with him. The guards would be left outside, obviously. When Twist greeted Akku, he'd do so with a handshake that was large and firm; Twist had formerly served in the Engineer Corps of the Republic during the Clone Wars, and he was a large man no matter how you put it. "Akku, is it? Odd name if I might say. So you're the planetary governor then? Elected sort or self-named if you don't mind me asking?"

As the gentleman and his crew came up to the building security camera's spotted and recorded their faces to alert the local starport's to not allow them to travel in case they tried something and got away. A few guard's followed Twist up to the palace to meet Akku, not because they didn't trust him. It was protocol. Do this or be executed. Was the law. The Man was allowed to come up close in order to shake hands, it was a gesture of kindness in most places. Or it could've been a sign of disrespect someplace. Here, it was respect.
"I've heard stranger names. And yes, I am the leader of this planet. Now, tell me what can I do for you? What brings you to my desert hm? Looking to enlist my planet's archeology company? Best in the galaxy. Guaranteed."

| Twist wasn't worried about the holocams seeing his face; he wanted to stay here, not leave. He noted though that this Akku had not answered his question. "You're the leader of the planet you say? Well, that's why I asked you, are you self-named and the rest followed you or were you elected? I'd hate to be making a deal with the wrong man, after all. As for looking to enlist people? Not quite. We're here to build and expand this planet's infrastructure. More attractive buildings, an increase in cash flow. Make the place look better for possible tourists and all. I'll need some information on this world, of course. Basic religions, cultural rules and such."

| The questions asked by the newcomer were a but unsettling, but Akku knew that the planet could use some more help with cash and what not, change wasn't a bad thing as long as it made things better.
"I was elected... You can say that. A planetary civil war about ten years ago, difference in beliefs and views on how to run the planet.... As for our basic religion. None exist at the moment as we are a planet in the Empire, where religious beliefs aren't allowed... Hasn't stopped some people, random cities still have temples to the old ones. As for our culture... We're about the same as most other planets... Except women aren't allowed to show any part of their body. No woman may wander the streets without either a droid, or a man. That's about the basic's. Anything else you would like to know?"

| Twist was a rather blunt man; open about a number of things and more than likely to speak his mind; a fact that could be both good and bad on a planet like Abregado-san. Twist listened attentively though. The talk of a civil war was an interesting point; it did seem that this Akku was still more or less the legal leader of the world, which made it correct for Twist to be speaking with him. It was a little odd that people still prayed to the old beliefs despite the Empire's views, and the items regarding females were rather curious, but Twist felt as if he had absorbed a lot of knowledge.
"No sir, no sir. That should be about it at this time. If you'd be willing to sign off on these forms here and here, and that one there, I'll be more than glad to start constructing some new infrastructure for you. Spruce up the place a bit and all. Can't hurt to get it looking good. We'll pull from the local labor pool as well."
