The only vessels in orbit, where the Fighters that were launched by the two stations that orbited Chandaar, which were running patrols around the world, and remaining close to the stations, the pilots being smarter than to try an attempt on a run at the larger vessels. The only other remaining vessels in orbit, were those Imperial Vessels docked at the Imperial Berth that orbited Chandaar (which has been previously established in a past thread.) Once the vessels that had arrived for the blockade where in position, the world of Chandaar locked itself down, not permitting vessels to leave, as it had more than enough resources to last out the blockade, including the various farms and private farms that the residence of the world had. The government even had resource vaults ready to be opened in the event that they were required.

After the blockading forces arrived, the 101st and the 42nd fleets of the Cronese Mandate Navy waited just long enough to ensure that no other vessels would be arriving before they were sent it. The vessels however would not be engaging the blockading forces, instead, they had their own orders. They would remain at the edge of the system, effectively locking down the system, preventing vessels from leaving the system, as well as turning vessels away from entering, and seizing any vessels meant to bring supplies to the blockading forces.

There were naturally a constant flow of supply ships to the blockade so at the interception of the first one (a BFF-1 carrying a dozen electro-technical engineers as well as a cargo of food and fuel) by the Cronese (some minutes into the blockade, the vessel surrendered after it's shields were pounded down and was impounded, being too slow to turn and flee under Cronese fire) the Tector-class Eagle turned it's prow about and after a short refuel of the fighters present set an aggressive course towards the Cronese Flagship of the Defensive Fleet. They advanced fearlessly with their Acherin, Telosian and Deralian allies, the Teloisians turning about too and moving alongside the Deralians towards the attack fleet.

"Gentlemen, Good Hunting." came the word from Ordan across the communicator to all the fleet as his ship opened fire, several minutes after the interception of the first unarmed shuttle sent to supply the allies. His ship's long range Turbolasers and Ion Cannons streaked out across the void towards the Cronese "Chandaar-class" vessel or largest other "Defensive fleet" vessels (splitting it's fire if the Chandaar-class was not present). It had made an obstruction to the blockade with it's compatriots, as such it was fair game. As they bore closer the full power of the Tector's massive array of weapons batteries was added to the fire of it's escorts.

The TIEs stayed in close providing an escort as the Axum and Acherin forces closed to normal turbolaser range with the Cronese vessels, keeping moving as they fired efficient volley after volley towards the Cronese, their fighters taking care not to stray into the range of the shorter-range Laser Cannons of the Cronese vessels by staying in the shadows of the larger vessels.

"Acherin, please concentrate your fire on the smaller vessels in the defensive fleet if you please. We'll get this "battleship" disassembled for you in a trice, your gunship should be able to make a mess of their homespun "escorts". Huzzah!" spoke a polite request from the Axum communication officer. "Deralia and Telos, you have your targets." the sensors on the more modern Tector-class and Escort Carriers supplying weapons data to all their allies, making sure shots were accurately targeted.

[Cronese Space]
[ARS The Blood Patriot]

All seemed quiet when suddenly over the comms, Axum command would tell Acherin ships exactly where to fire on. On the GR-75, the techs would program the Anti-Fighter drones attached to it to target all Cronese fighters and to declare them as hostile. With this in sight, the GR-75 (while raising shields) would move close enough to engage the fighters, hurling flak in the general direction of the fighters. The drones would literally conduct a bombardment of flak at the fighters. And despite them being stuck on the GR, their turret 'heads' were more then fast enough to lock on and engage, and if need be, be able to rotate itself in the blink of an eye.

Meanwhile, the DP20 would move to engage one of the targets corvettes. Once in range, the DP20 would open up with it's weaponry, while raising shields as well. Concussion Missiles would also be launched from the DP20, moving towards their target.

Meanwhile, on the bridge of The Blood Patriot, Colonel Neolight grinned as soon as the fighting begun to break out. Communications had not been blocked and he intended to get a message out before the Cronese attempted to block communications.

"Ensure Acherin is informed that the Cronese have engaged us!" Neolight would cry out towards the Comm Officer, as she already begun broadcasting the message. Nick knew that President Tu'Rot would surely inform the Imperial Senate of this.

Looking at the information given to them by Axum command, everything was accurately pinpointed and with all ships able to use this information, weapon fire would no doubt be accurate.

"Get our LAAT gunship pilots to their stations, raise our shields, and inform all ships to stay close together. We can't allow them to get in our bubble." Neolight ordered.

Looking at the tactical display, the Acclamator was situated for one of the Cronese cruisers. He smirked.

"Once in range, open up everything we have on those cruisers!" No doubt once they were in range, the Acclamator would begin to open up on the Cronese cruisers.

Among the vessels 'intended to bring supplies to the blockading force' were a handful of ships that were intended to supplement the private watchers at Chandaar; late arrivals, one might say, that had come at the last moment. Unfortunately, that put them in the line of potential fire from the Cronese forces that appeared practically out of nowhere. Moving to evade any possible fire that might come their way, the four additional craft, a Tri-Mark VII Interceptor broadcasting as the Null Echo, a YV-929 freighter broadcasting as the Rend, a Pursuer-class enforcement ship broadcasting as the Final Breath and a Rainhawk-class transport under the name of Wings of Destiny were quickly tagged as friendlies by the ship Flame of War; a tag that would be broadcast to the Axum vessels to be able to update their own targeting systems. By now, the blockading vessels would likely be moving to intercept the Cronese, while the Flame of War accelerated as well, still an observer, but if the pilot's compatriots were fired upon, the Cronese would be engaged without mercy.

As the Tornado came about to view the Axum assault, backed by Telos IV and Acherin's vessels, Senator Ryuun simply shook his head, watching from the bridge. He and a few select staff from Druckenwell were present as the fighters buzzed defensively around his frigate. The gunners held their stations, but his vessel did not advance into the fray, largely to the collective sighs of some of the gun crews who were hoping to engage the Cronese. Ryuun was not their to fight, though. The entire blockade was a joke to him; a galactic pissing contest more or less that he was willing to view, but not take part of.

As they sat, uncontested, in orbit, the Deralians went ahead and launched their remaining fighters; consisting of three squadrons of V-19 Torrent Starfighters and 8 Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-Wings. One could observe the vast differences among the allies in their warships at present. Anaxes, home of the Imperial Navy, had a fleet of its own that was no less proud. They fielded the most advanced vessels the Empire would allow, many that no other world could get. Telos showed in its design and crewing that it was dedicated solely to security, nevermind the fact that it was virtually the entirety of Telos' space forces. Acherin was attempting to get the most of their designs with the least amount of manpower, indicating a small world wishing to make itself still a formidable military power, something a Deralian could respect. The Deralians showed there was no capture, no mercy when it came to warfare to them, their vessels bore an entirely offensive array of weaponry; they were dedicated to war and no other pursuit, which would make implementation of some objectives in this operation difficult, but not impossible. This would all come to play in the quickly forming situation.

The situation, being, that the ships had largely broken their blockade of Chandaar in order to break the Cronese blockade of the system's hyperlane entry point, was advantageous for the allies. It was likely the Cronese would not expect such an aggressive move. Captain Ibáñez seemed to be even more battle thirsty than one might have expected; she felt robbed of her chance at combat by the commander of the 101st Fleet at Caluula, and she would not be denied the glory of defeating her foe in battle again. If she was to be denied by another cowardly retreat, it would be her enemy's honor disgraced, not her's. Her task force, consisting of two CR70 Vanguard c20 Retrofit Corvettes from Telos and two Assassin-class Corvettes from Anaxes, along with her world's own two DP20 Frigates, were arrayed in their previous formation, with their fighters in two semi-circular formations around the ships, giving them a clear forward firing line. As they closed in on the 101st Fleet, there was one, singular focus for the Ops. The Black Flag. Every weapon on the vessel targeted forward, and proceeded to fire on it, targetting weapons clusters, shields, and the bridge. Meanwhile, the two DP20 Frigates began a combined missile barrage, firing salvo after salvo, upon the Seraph-class Cruiser of the fleet, in conjunction with their guns as well. The CR70s and Assassins were relegated to firing upon the Gozanti Cruisers, split into two teams of one each. As the ships began to fire upon the 101st, the fighters rolled en mass, now on the dorsal and ventral side of the task force. At once, they moved, full speed, split half and half among each group, towards the 101st, which would be most likely more concerned with the heavy amount of firepower they were under rather than the incoming fighter horde. The fighters would engage any oncoming fighters, at the edge of the task force's firing arcs, but otherwise would charge into the fleet, engaging the smaller vessels; the Y-Wings making organized bombing runs, under escort and in "wolf pack" flight groups.

As the blockading forces attacked on one side of the Cronese force, the other side saw further activity. Three demilitarized Acclamator Assault Ships dropped out of hyperspace, with a few smaller commercial vessels surrounding them. They were intent on jumping to Chandaar, but were at this time heading straight into the Cronese fleet. Among the many purposes of this force, one in particular was perhaps the most important; Ground troops for an possible invasion of Chandaar.

The Cronese Vessels, which were at the edge of the system and no where near any blockading forces, and therefore still a ways off from any precision or effective weapons fire from hitting the vessels picked up the blockading forces moving with hostile intent towards their location. As ordered before hand they were not to look for or return any kind of hostility towards the vessels that had blockaded the planet of Chandaar. Their weapons were not powered up, as the power was redirected towards the shields to increase their strength. When the Acclamators arrived in the system, the 101st quickly reported a message to Chandaar about a possible ground invasion before the fleet, along with the 42nd was forced to jump out of the system, having orders not to engage any of the vessels.

Chandaar, even though having lifted the lock down, was still on alert for the possibility of an invasion. The fighters in the two stations orbiting the planet were put on standby, yet were not launched into action. The planetary weapons of Chandaar, as well as their defense forces were being mobilized and prepared for the possibility of an invasion. All the ground forces could do now though was to wait and let the blockading forces continue their own hostile actions.

The long range and ion cannons would slam into the Cronese capital vessel as it dropped its shields to jump to hyperspace. Ripping massive gashes out of the giant ships's hull, having been targeted on the ships weapons and propulsion systems it would perhaps be immobilised and left helpless alone as its escorts jumped to hyperspace.

"Shall we confiscate these Defense monitors?" spoke the Anaxsi comms officer, speaking of the Cronese space station. Its in violation of the blockade and once more it's fighters are obstructing us, more than reasonable grounds our lawyers inform me.." he spoke to the allied contingents.

It would appear that the fighters patrolling around the planet enjoyed the sight of the flak as the GR-75 would assume a close enough position to ensure accurate, damaging fire. The Anti-Air drones mounted on the GR-75 hurled flak (each with 2 cannons each) into the ranks of the patrols, which would be more then enough to cause damage to the fighters. However with a regrouping order given, the GR-75 would reverse it's course to meet up with the rest of the coalition ships, all while still firing at the fighters as the Anti-Air drones would rotate their turret heads and continue to fire until out of range.

The DP20 with it's guns, would cease firing on the corvettes and also turn itself around to rejoin the ships.

Aboard the Acclamator, the recall order was given for both ships to return. From there all three ships would link up with Axum forces and from there take the fight to another enemy. The LAATs were prepped and the order was given for infiltration crews to board them. Acherin Army personnel stationed on The Blood Patriot would assemble their gear and would proceed to their respective gunships in order to carry out their missions.

The Acclamator's weapons would have hurled into space towards the ships it had focused on. It was all a matter of time before the outcome was reached.

On the bridge, Colonel Neolight nodded. "We're going after the Space stations. We're going to 'liberate' one for the security and safety of Acherin!" The crew would cheer as orders would be passed down to the infiltration teams.
