(What I see is that you ignored the stated fact that the Marauder had kept itself away from your forces, ie, it was no where near your vessels when they arrived, which was already stated, you chose to instead ignore that, and somehow state that your vessels dropped out of hyperspace around it, which would mean that your vessels would have an immediate ooc knowledge as to where the vessel was stationed, ie, meaning that it is unrealistic for your vessels to know where the Marauder was and drop out of hyperspace around the Marauder which is what you've essentially did with your posts while also ignoring the fact that the Marauder was no where near your own vessels.

With the Z-95s I'm sure it is generally assumed when they're requested that they're being requested with hyperdrives.

Though I do find it amusing that you're now running off to management when someone on the site has turned around and decided to do to you what you essentially do to everyone else, which is ignore their actions in their post, magically flee from a thread or situation, magically remain out of an enemies firing range, etc etc, which is all I did, just took a page out of your book which you use so often against everyone else on this site. )

((1. My vessels can appear where they want. And if they appeared in range (as I wished them to) there is no way the Maurauder could outrun the other Maurauder. Common sense. So it was down to my discretion for them to appear in between your ships and deep space with the planet behind them. You could thus escape toward or round the planet but could not outpace your pursuers..

2. The Z-95 upgrade is just that, an upgrade - not a standard or common variant.

3. *le sigh* You need to calm down about this "staying out of range" thing. Yes it is easy to stay out of weapons range. This requires two things 1. That you have somewhere to go (i.e. Not toward your enemy or a solid planet) and 2. That you are fast enough to do said actions and/or have sufficient distance. Thus if you had a much faster vessel like an ISD I would believe more in your chance of "staying out of range", because it's a very fast vessel which could outrun the slower corvette. Equally, just stating "staying out of range" is intentionally ambiguous and did not state a direction or make an effort to, I would argue intentionally so - in order to turn that ambiguity to your advantage - a hallmark of your posts.

Anyway, enough arguing about it here I think Xalden old pal! I think we should wait for management to rule on the matter. As it appears there's been no damage called for three rounds of legitimate attacks, and I'd like to appeal that fact to them. I'm sure they'll question you on if you feel it's unfair.))

(( We'll move this to the OOC forum later. It is indeed Jamie's call where his ships appear. It's customary in RP to arrive/reconnoiter in one post and then move into positon/attack in a second post, or some variation of this whereby the arrival and the attack are in separate posts. Jamie seems to have done this, from my reading of the thread (which has already been subject to management intervention once). Yes, it'd be preferable if his ships didn't "happen to show up" in this unlikely place at this unlikely time, but litigating this point when Xalden's fate seems to already be agreed upon isn't something I think anyone wants to do. My view is it'd be best for the participants to simply roll with this so it can be over with, and with Jamie's ships having been established as within range of Xalden's, presumably they remain so and some damage should be acknowledged. ))

It's been weeks since Jace posted requesting you to acknowledge some damage. As such I'm going to go ahead and auto my actions succeeding.))

The Maurauder-class vessel was struck brutally and repeatedly by the rain of fire. Under this targeted bombardment the deflectors for the key areas targetted were quickly subdued and the engines and command and control systems disabled.

Seeing their command vessel shattered and crippled under fire from JTH's forces, the fighters would likely largely succeed in their attempt at jumping away, although several would be blasted out of the sky by the superior firepower before they could do so, leaving only two thirds of the original compliment to escape alive.

The men aboard the Maurauder, now with no fighter escort would accept an offer from the fat man's forces to trade their ship for freedom, being allowed to collect their personal effects and property before being offloaded down on the planet below.

After they were evacuated, the chipper and hardworking Dantooine crew would have the vessel's engines and shields back online before much time elapsed, and now with another ship in their entourage the people's front of Dantooine jumped away to further glory.
