By the time the supposed pirates were storming Baird's cell, the freighter had already been attached to the corvette. The hatch were being opened through a code-hacking electronic device where the right code would be found within matters of moment. As a result, the hatch were unlocked. Like many great leaders of the past, he would lead the troops into a firefight. In fact, he was the first one to throw a flashbang down the hatch while everyone covered their eyes before jumping through the top hatch.

Currently on the corvette, the crew would see electrical fires and damaged systems from the attacks. Tremaine would move down the hallway with the rifle up and ready to splatter all over the place. The rest of the squadron followed by, ready to clear whatever obstacles the whites would throw at them. The Senator-soldier gave an order to have half of the team turn around in order to watch the rear. "Where are you, Baird and Havoc?" He whispered to himself.

Vax nodded shortly to Baird and flashed him a tight grin. "I can imagine, Commander. General Castor Vax, at your rescue service. It's time to get out of here with your other friend. Let's get to him now." Spinning about on his heel, Vax began to make his way towards the shuttles where they had docked against the corvette. Havoc ideally, would be meeting them there with his rescue squad. One of Vax's troopers would hand Baird a blaster rifle so that the man might defend himself if need be. Most of the fighting should have been quelled and, Vax reflected, it was a shame they'd be unable to take this corvette.

The sergeant who was in charge of the squad that rescued Havoc simply looked on as the Jedi killed the Imperial. "Must have had a bit of anger towards that one, eh?" The Sergeant made his quip with a raised brow. "We've got to get a move on, Jedi. General Vax is waiting for us at the link-up site. Unfortunately, he's the only one with us who has a lightsaber, and I'm not so sure he'll just hand it over to you. Let's get going." The troopers turned and, presumably with Havoc coming along, headed back towards the link-up area.

(( Skip me this round. No further interference for Baird and Havoc. Only minor interference for Tremaine; a handful of troopers and whatnot. ))

Before they did anything, Baird looked around for a foot locker or something that may contain his personal effects, he didn't have a lot of things but when he was captured he wanted one thing, a relic that his father had given him, with luck he found a foot locker with some stuff in it, and his relic. He pocketed the item and turned back to the squad of men. Now with a rifle in his hand's he was know a weapon himself, the rifle was just a tool. He nodded over at the trooper that handed it to him. He'd turn back to the Jedi, the name was one he'd heard before but didn't have the pleasure of working with during the clone wars, he only worked with two Jedi in his time as a Grand Republic Soldier, and one of them was a real pain in the ass.

"So, who's on point or are we going commando?" He really didn't care if they did guerrilla tactics, or went protocol, as long as they got out of there alive. He followed the squad not seeing any interference a long the way, which kinda saddened him. He was looking for a little action, but getting out save was good too, once they reached the rendezvous point. He knew he was safe for now, and could finally take a breather. Now he waited for havoc to show up.

Havoc would obviously follow the group towards the link-up. If any dis-disillusioned Imperial Troopers appeared, Havoc and his quick reflexes would engage the target with a barrage of blaster fire coming from the pistol. He didn't have to aim, he knew exactly where to shoot, and if the head shots missed, the torso would do just fine. And if the troopers really pissed Havoc off, he'd shoot them in their private parts before killing them for good. "If the masters saw me act like this... they'd be very disappointed." The Jedi would say coldly.

While the Libs were moving down the hallway, primed and ready to free the type of person that would kill fifty soldiers single-handedly, they had encountered a little resistance. There were a handful of whites ready to shoot at Tremaine and his men. Every single one of the strike team would duck for cover while shooting back at the whites. "We don't have time for a skirmish. We need to find a shortcut to Baird and Havoc." That was the moment he gave a scorn look at one of the soldiers, which enabled the guy to try and come up with an answer.

The Telosian had fired three laser bolts toward some of the whites, hoping to hit them.

There wasn't much resistance left for Vax's commandos to have to mop up, one could assume, most had been scattered early on, and any crew that chose to try and fight electrical fires or not actually hinder the movement of his forces were left alone. There was no need for indiscriminate slaughter after all. It was actually possible that, at the time Vax and Baird linked up with Havoc that Tremaine and his forces might come across them as well. "I'm on point," would be Vax's short reply to Baird; he was the best equipped to deal with any Imperial issues that might arise.

When Vax finally came face-to-face with Havoc, he'd incline his head to a Jedi of equal rank. "Havoc. I've heard of you. A pleasure to be able to spring you from this Imperial trap. I'd heard there was a third member but I could not locate any other than yourself and Commander Baird."

Indeed, the Imperial forces had been decimated by the initial rush. Fowlkes' forces might come across a few stubborn troopers who were cut down easily enough, but by and large, the crew of the corvette had been greatly reduced. Had it not been for the fear of what would happen, the captain might well have ordered the full evacuation of the vessel. As it was, he'd ordered the bridge sealed off and his crew that remained working frantically to restore power and systems. At this point, even navigation and movement would have been a plus.

"Baird..." He turned to Caster Vax. "Third member is elsewhere... we need to get out of here... and I need a lightsaber... or hook me up with parts to build a new one."

While the squad were moving down the hallway, he heard two familiar voices. It didn't sound like they were captured. It must have something to do with the pirates. That's when he heard a third voice, a voice that he wasn't familiar with. Tremaine, along with the rest of the squad, would turn right and pointed blasters at them for a minute before lowering them down. "Looks like I was too late. I was afraid you guys would Imperial fodder by now." He chuckled lightly, "Let's blow this piece of shit to pieces and get out of here."

Castor grunted a noncommittal reply to Havoc; the only lightsaber Castor currently owned was his own, and pieces were in short supply. He had enough to remake his own if need be, and that was stretching it. He certainly didn't have enough to spare on hand for Havoc. "I'll see what I can do. I make no promises." As Fowlkes and his troops rounded the corner, there was a brief pointing of weapons from Vax's commandos, which were quickly dropped when the newcomers were realized to be friendlies. Vax, no slouch to the news, recognized Tremaine's face from the holo-news channels. He kept his voice silent for now about that.

"I wasn't going to destroy the ship," he mused briefly. "I am not fond of Imperials, but there are many noncombatants and we gain nothing from the destruction of this vessel. Best to leave it be. I would settle for a quick escape while we still can." If possible, Vax would load up with his troops into the pair of shuttles, accompanied by Baird and Havoc, one could presume, as well as Tremaine and his forces if they chose to crowd aboard.
