| As they strolled through the castle, Stark pointed out various rooms, dining halls, storage areas and the like. The castle armory he showed her in brief as well, giving a nod to one of the guardsmen who was stationed there. "Then I shall ask properly in the near future, my dear. While times may have changed, I like to stand on formality on a number of issues. Marriage happens to be one of those." He squeezed her hand lightly, still considering Naboo.
"It is good that he's expecting us. Such a short time away though. We'll need to leave the Viridian Sky behind; I fear she's not the fastest ship I own. The Beautiful Mind will be our vessel of choice, more than likely. She's quite fast and still luxurious and- ah, here we are." He paused before a plain door that opened into a circular room. Pale white walls and a rack of wooden weapon replicas were the primary items to note. "The room where I go to meditate... and to watch my guardsmen spar from time to time."

| Ana sighed ans stopped once they were in the room. "Alyn..."She started, unsure of how to explain this to him. She didn't wantbto upset the man after all. He just...needed to know. And she thought he did. Ana paused though, to take in the room he was showing her. Instead of bothering him with it, she let it go.
"This is nice. I can see why you like it." The room was stunningly silent aside from the sound of her own footsteps as she wandered the perimeter of the room before she paused to consider the rack of unfamiliar weapons. All weapons were unfamiliar, actually. She had never used one, not even a blaster, and honestly didn't even know how to turn one on.

| Stark caught the change in her mood, but he said nothing yet, allowing her to look at the exotic assortment of melee weapons that ranged from simple staves to replicas of Force pikes and blades of all kinds; perfectly replicated for training. "It's a good room, for its purpose," he said quietly, still watching as her slow footsteps moved her about the circular room. "Tell me Ana, what is on your mind? Something seems to be troubling you and I don't like when things bother you."

| She hesitated for a moment, pushing her chestnut curls back with her fingertips. Ana smiled slightly and shook her head. "Its nothing, Alyn. Nothing important anyway." She said as she finally let her gaze trail to him. "You don't have to worry about what ship we take home...I don't care. You know that, right?" She was not worded that he would think badly of her, but others would. And she knew how it looked, and that did bother her some.
"Never mind....let's go get packed...yes? Im excited to show you where I'm from. It is nothing near as grand as this place is..."

| Stark reached out to trail his fingers across her cheek, ending at the corner of her lips before dropping his hand and smiling. "I know I don't have to worry about it Ana, but if I can offer you luxury and comfort, I fully plan on it. I know that you could care less if I were a pauper or the wealthiest man in the galaxy. However, I utilize very little personally in the wealth I do possess, and if I cannot use it on someone that I love, what good is it?
"But, as you wish, we shall go and pack. I am just as excited to see Naboo." He turned away slightly, murmuring to himself, almost subconsciously, "A grand place indeed, but even a grand place can be a prison."

| Ana smiled some, taking his hand in her after he dropped it back to his side. "You are an amazing person, has anyone ever told you that? "Ana asked briefly before she squeezed his hand tenderly and then released it. "I'm almost not sure that I deserve you." A half smile crossed her face.
When he turned away though, she got part of what he had muttered, and she frowned some before she slipped her hand into his again. "I do not like it when things bother you either, Alyn." She said, stopping him in an empty corridor. "What is wrong? You know that you can tell me anything, right? " Ana said softly, refusing to let him advance until he talked to her. They would have plenty of time to talk on the trip, of course, but she didn't want him upset or anything weighing on his mind.

| Pausing before departing the room, Stark looked back to Ana, the smile returning to his face. "I have indeed heard that I am amazing, but the people I hear it from say it for different reasons than you, and the way you mean it is much more valuable than the way you say it. In the corridor though, he waited for a moment, collecting his thoughts on how to proceed.
"Power and wealth are not all they may seem, my love. Sometimes positions are more of a prison than they are a freedom and some days, responsibilities weigh heavily upon the mind. Come, my love, let us prepare for this trip. It will be a wonderful little vacation. Aside from a few unpleasant revolting Gungans, I hear Naboo is quite nice."

| Ana shook her head some. "No, I imagine it's not." She said thoughtfully. "I am sure that it is a prison full of people who only want to be close to you for that money and power, and you wouldn't really have many, if any, friends that you could truly trust?" It was more of a question than a statement, because she wasn't sure if it was an accurate assessment of the situation. In her mind, it seemed to be. And she was glad that he knew that she cared for neither of those things. She just wanted him, which was a new concept for her. For so long it had just been her, and her schooling, then work. Such as it was.
She would take his hand again, squeezing it lightly as they walked. Ana hadn't really unpacked. Truthfully, her suitcase had been abandoned on Coruscant in the hotel, along with all of her clothes. She still found it funny that he had someone bring in clothes for her, and everything fit, but none were a style she was used to, not that it mattered.
Once back to his room, she smiled some. "Why don't you relax? I can do this for you." She said, recalling the last time she had picked out something for him to wear. "Nothing gray...I promise."

| "Right on both counts," he said, sound a bit sad for a moment. "Fortunately, the philanthropic side allows me to share my wealth with those less fortunate who aren't grubbing for a piece." Stark knew that Ana, of all people, did not love him for his money, but rather for who he was. Who she thought he was, he reflected a bit sadly. Would it ever be possible to show her the other side? Would she even understand why he did what he did? Would she even care? Well, he would cross that bridge when he came to it. As they walked, he simply enjoyed the moment.
Upon coming to his room, he sat at down in one of the large chairs, watching her push through his wardrobe. "Fair enough, my love. I trust your taste."

| Ana smirked some and pulled several shirts from his closet that he liked, unsure as to whether or not he would like them or not. They weren't grey, but black, as he had said he liked. "Did you trust my taste so much when I forced you to wear that horrible, horrible grey thing a few weeks ago? I'm not sure how you ever survived those few hours, Alyn, in that color, honestly!" She was teasing mercilessly as she recalled his expression when she had picked it out.
Carefully, she packed everything into a suitcase and a garment bag before she sat them aside. "So when do we go? Tonight or tomorrow?"

| Stark nodded his approval at the shirts she picked; she was rapidly becoming an expert at dressing him, which in itself was slightly amusing. Nonetheless, he liked the familiarity that existed between them. "One bad pick does not mean a future of bad picks, my love. Though sometimes I do wonder exactly how I survived." As she packed, he rose to stand behind her, settling his hands on her shoulders and kissing the back of her head lightly. "Tonight, we may as well. I am eager to be away from here, and the sooner we avoid the dinner invitation, the better off we are."

| She paused and leaned back against him when he moved over to her. "Whenever you want is fine with me." She murmured as she stopped what she was doing. Truthfully, she liked to keep busy when she could. Having nothing to do all day would have been dreadfully boring.
"We, huh?" Ana questioned. "What do you think would have happened if you had gone? Or if we had gone?" She asked as she fastened the case closed and made sure the latch was tight. Ana would let him carry it if he wanted to, or whomever he would have loading the ship could take the packed suitcase for him. "You can tell me the truth...."

| "A number of things," Stark mused. "Whether it was me alone or both of us... well, I doubt anything bad would have happened if it had been us and not me. Perhaps a good dinner and pleasant conversation. Perhaps snide comments or an attempt to curry favor. If I had gone alone..." Stark chuckled without any real amusement. "Perhaps an 'accident' along the way or a guard whose weapon malfunctioned. Perhaps an all-out attack on my person. I can only guess, but either way, it would have ended badly, but not on my end. I've picked up a few skills here and there... during my time in the military, that is."

| She frowned, pouting some when he said that. "I don't want you going there...ever." She murmured, a worries tone hanging in her voice. "Please? " She was quiet and her worry was more than evident. "I really....I just don't want to loose you, alright? " Ana finished with his bag and turned away for a minute and pretended to fuss with something.
"We should go, maybe? Since we need to switch ships, right? " She said quietly, as she struggled to not be overly emotional about it.

| Stark kissed Ana lightly atop her head once more, then stroked her cheek. "If I have no reason to go, then I will not. If it is a matter of state, my position as Representative may require it. But I agree; we must depart my love. Besides," and here he gave a mischievous grin, "There is a party on Acherin we must attend that is sure to be far better. Tu'Rot has been promoted to Governor-General and I feel we should only stop in to congratulate the man."
