| Charlie had made it out of the clutches of the clutches of the Anaxsi and was now flying again, unable to return to the Deralian system due to his conviction there he was flying a commercial route for a small industrial concern. At present he was flying a sluggish BFF-1 on a route from Deysum to Ubrikkia, carrying a dozen workers for the factories along with four hundred tons of carbon - an unglamorous material but something the shipyards there required he supposed.
Leaning over from his pilots seat he squinted, focusing his tired eyes upon the power gauge as it began to tank down. "Having a bit of a power outage so we are. Nothing major, systems still functioning but were risking losing relativistic shields if we keep this up, were going to drop out of hyperspace and loiter around here until its checked out... O`connor, get your skinny ass down to the engine room and see what the problem is. I`ll just let Ubrikkian Steamworks know we`re delayed"
Not factoring in how close to Hutt Space they were (less than ten lightyears from Ubrikkia) he sent a very easily traced and unencrypted message over public channels to the Ubrikkians "This is the BFF-1 Brown Jug, were two hours out of Ubrikkia and have had a minor power failiure, I expect to get us online within the hour but the workers and your valuable cargo may be delayed an hour or two. I`ll let you know when we`re back underway."
As the cargo hauler slowly steamed along through deep space there was little to see except a large stellar nebula a few AUs from their port bow.. all alone near Hutt space they were sitting ducks..

| A pair of PB-950 patrol boats dropped out from hyperspace not far from where the BFF-1 was moving along at its slow pace. Headed to Ubrikkia as well, the pair of craft picked up quickly on the Brown Jug and hailed it briefly in welcome.

| "Can I help you fine gentlemen? Hope you don't mind but I'm going to put on the old shields.. don't want some interstellar rays frying me do I!" came good ol Charlie Brandrith over the communication system on hypercomm, leaving his public channel open to the Ubrikkians incase they had anything which was needful of being done or suggestions. The vessel continued on at its steady 10MGLT, not going anywhere in a hurry. His shields flickered on a dull green, indicating their age.

| The captain of one of the patrol boats chuckled at Charlie's words. "Wouldn't want that to happen. We're not used to seeing people going this slow in the fast lane, so to speak. Figured we'd drop in and say hello. Not always safe in this area, you know. However, stay on this course and you should be fine."

| The dear little freighter continued on, still not with its hyperdrive online for some time, keeping the easily detectable channel open to Ubrikkia.

| In was Rhygar's customary move to 'slink' through a system little by little when the chance of being tracked existed. As such, when the patrol boats vanished to hyperspace, there was a brief gap, perhaps three minutes or more, in which a squadron of HLAF-500 starfighters emerged somewhat distant from the freighter, followed by a second squadron a few seconds later. Moving at half-speed, they easily closed on the path the freighter was following, and the lead pilot hailed the freighter.
"Unidentified freighter, you're a ways from port out here on sublights. You suffering any damage we can call in for you on our way through?"
