The Mos Eisley Cantina was packed at the night. A lot of various species with various occupations, usually illegal occupations that is, were present. A band of Bith musicians and Twi'lek dancers were performing. It would seem like a perfect night for bar hoppers. It wasn't for Jak Merston, an unknown bounty hunter among the bounty hunters' guild. He was simply there for drinks, not to meet new people. He wasn't a big fan of being around people, but he seems to have a knack for running into unwanted people. The bounty hunter had tip a good amount of credits to a Twi'lek waitress for getting him a bottle of Corellian brandy with a shot.

Jak had just gulped his first shot. He doesn't know where his new partner went. She could be on Imperial Center for all he knows. All he needed right now was to get some drinks in order to relieve himself from a recent stressful assignment.

((OOC note: This is an open RP. Anyone's welcomed to jump in.))

Eve had tried, oh how she had tried, to maintain distance between her and Jak Merston. Unfortunately, she knew no one else in the galaxy, as she had spent the majority of her life locked up in an Imperial research center as a science experiment. She wasn't terribly fond of Jak, but someone was better than no one.

So she had followed him back here, to Tatooine, and the cantina. It had been long enough that her cropped brown hair had grown long, and she dyed it a platinum blonde to conceal her identity. He wouldn't recognize the woman that slid into the booth across from him with a full shot glass in one hand. "You had to choose Tatooine? I hate this sand...it's in my shoes...."

Jak was focused on drinking, as he needed some downtime. However, that downtime was probably short-lived by interruption of a woman. That woman he didn't recognize, however. The tone wasn't all too familiar, neither. The bounty hunter raised his eyebrows, and spoke in a firm tone. "Who the hell are you?" Jak didn't recognize her at all because of the changes she made upon her appearances.

"Really, Jak?". Eve said when he asked who the hell she was. She slid the shot across to him and sighed. He would figure it out eventually, as only her hair had changed really. Her skin was tanner, but she was still the same. And she was still the same amount of crazy. Years in an Imperial facility would do that to a person.

The mild-mannered bounty hunter would turn to look at the woman sitting next to him. That's when he was able to take a closer look. "Eve? What are you doing here? Didn't you run off somewhere?" He was wondering since Eve had told him to drop her off after that space station fiasco. Jak filled a shot and gulped it whole, then handed Eve the bottle and the glass. "Want some?"

There were others in the Mos Eisley cantina who were not affiliated with the bounty hunter's guild. Undoubtedly, some might be wanted for bounties, but at this time, the particulars in mention were not on any major wanted lists. Lounging around a rather spacious corner booth were Lim Hejin and his closest confidantes among his crew. They'd taken some time off, having received a good amount of credits for the last raid they'd conducted against the LGMC's mining facility and living in the temporary lap of luxury was always pleasant.

Eve sat the two glasses on the table and pushed her platinum locks back from her face. "I don't know anyone else in the galaxy, and as much of an ass as I thought you were, I figured being with you was better than running alone." She said truthfully. "Besides, you're not that bad. I guess. I'd rather you than those folks that were cutting into my brain. I don't want to relive that." Eve murmured before she took the shot and offered him a smile.

If Jak had actually cared about every wanted criminals in the Cantina, he might as well place an explosive and collapse the Cantina in order to receive the bundle of credits. However, he was not in mood to receive an earful from the Hutts. He was there to take shots, and take some time off bounty hunting. He had definitely recognized Hejin and his men, their bounties had mentioned they deserted the Republic army during the Clone Wars and had robbed canisters from LGMC. For the moment, he kept his focus upon Eve. "Well, I'm not good with people. If you're gonna stay with me, you better pull your weight lady. Do you know how to shoot?"

"Another job successfully completed my dear friends," Hejin commented as he stretched. Here on Tatooine, they were relatively free of entanglements and bounty hunters, or at least the bounty hunters who would waste time tracking them. By and large, their numbers and Klaus' size kept the unwanted away and Hejin was always ready with one of his pistols. "So then, it falls to us to find some new, gainful employment. Something preferably around the smuggling aspect."

"I don't know....maybe?" She said before downing the shot and putting the glass down onto the table gently. "I don't know what I can do. I can't....remember anything much from before." Eve said before she poured him another shot. "The only reason I knew my name was cause it was on the door of that room." Although, she hadn't thought that maybe it wasn't even her name. Either way, they would never know now since Jak destroyed the facility she had been in.

Before the bounty hunter would speak, he filled the shot and downed it yet again. "In this business, you need to know how to shoot. We can practice on that when we're out hunting for a Krayt Dragon." He knew hunting one was going to be tough. If he couldn't locate one, he would for a Bull Dragon instead. They make less money, but it is still more than enough. "There's a lot of womp rats in the desert, you can shoot at them as a part of practice, Eve." There was also the dangers of the Sand People. The more, the merrier.
