| The former Inquisitor had his new Sheathipede emerge out of hyperspace above the orbit of Jabiim. Indeed, he and Harold had stopped on the way for Trevor to retrieve his final gift. Of course, some items (to Harold's knowledge) were removed. He was fine with that, merely having a ship was sufficient at this point. He had expected Harold to keep up, despite the uncertainty about bringing the man to a planet with a lot of personal connection to himself.
Mira had known some of the stories in the past because Trevor was telling her a few stories, but she never came close to setting afoot on Jabiim. He wouldn't let her do so when he was still serving the Emperor. The circumstances had changed. Perhaps the man was hoping he would find an answer when he lands onto the surface. There weren't really a working spaceport except the one controlled by a small garrison of stormtroopers. He didn't go to the spaceport, instead opting for the desert itself on the other side of the planet. "People here may be primitive in technology, but they're a fierce people. Tread carefully." Trevor spoke to Harold through the radiotransmitter.
It wasn't a threat, but merely a precaution from Trevor. By now, he suspected the natives have no love for the Empire. He hoped that was still the case.

| The Fist of the Suns was more than capable of keeping up with the slower transport craft that Trevor was now piloting. He'd followed, in a fashion, to the surface of Jabiim, making sure to set down on a clear rocky outcropping. Even here in the desert, the torrential rains were a pain in the ass, so Maximov had decided. "I always tread carefully," Maximov stated as he prepared to disembark his craft, some few kilometers distant from Trevor. "Where are we intending on going? This world's electric fields aren't know for being friendly to repulsor vehicles so we may have a long walk ahead."

| Once Trevor had departed the Sheathipede, he'd meet up with Harold. "Oh, I don't think there was any intention on taking an unnecessary risk. I fully intended on walking." The man would waste no time, and began his pace toward the East. "There's a village not far from here. It's been a long time since I made a trip here. Don't expect a warm welcome." As Trevor kept on walking with the weapon Harold had given him on Nar Shaddaa, the man curiously asked. "Have you been to this planet before?"

| Looking around for a long moment, Maximov seemed faintly confused, then shook his head slowly. "No... no, I don't think so. I've been so many places these last years that at times I forget... well, it's no matter." Trudging through the rain, Maximov checked the weapons at his belt. "So this village, if it's not a friendly place so to speak, what's our purpose in going there? After all, you're the one holding the reins right now. I'm just along for the ride."

| The former Inquisitor walked ahead of Harold, pondering on whether to tell the man or not. He didn't want to bring up the personal history. It was difficult for him to speak of the past, but he felt compelled to tell. It was the right thing to do, to prepare his lone known acquaintance of what's about to come. Trevor looked left and right, trying to feel connected with the environment. The young man felt just right, pulling back his hood. He wanted his face to feel the rain. It was strangely comfortable. A heavy sigh would escape, his head facing the sky for several moments.
Then he turned to look at Harold, "This is my homeworld. The village is where I was raised." He spoke with a hint of burden in his tone. Trevor wouldn't say anything more before he sees Harold's reaction.

| "Ah. I see. The Tragedy of Jabiim, as some call it, is well known to me. A world of the Republic, but a world ever wanting for aid, which joined the Separatist cause and paid for it, left with only bitterness towards the Republic and the Empire. A harsh world to hail from, Trevor, and one that would gain a man many prejudices." Maximov studied Trevor for a long moment. "Jabiim native. Jedi. Inquisitor. Former Inquisitor, now. You've walked a path of some adversity, my companion." Maximov fell silent again as the rain beating against the ground covered the sounds of their steps and allowed for reflection. "So what have you come here to do?"

| Trevor simply nodded at Harold, "Indeed. It has been that way ever since I was born. Adversity is something I'm used to facing. It'll take me a while before I get over this one, though." He would let out a heavy sigh before speaking again, "Yes, I'm well aware of it. You forget to mention Dark Acolyte. I was a teenager when I fought on the Clone Wars. My parents sent me to the Jedi because my world thought that, as a Jedi, I would help protect my world and make it well-known."
The former Inquisitor began explaining his history, "First, I fought sparingly for the Republic. Then when the Republic abandoned my world, the natives didn't take this kindly. They thought I failed in protecting it. Thus, they looked down on me. Especially when they thought the Republic were indirectly responsible for my parents' deaths. I went back to confront my Jedi Master, ended up killing him out of rage for not allowing me to protect my home. I fell to the dark side and served the Confederacy extensively as a Dark Acolyte. Later, after the Separatists lost the Clone Wars...Vader eventually found me and uh recruited me into the Inquisitorus. You know the rest, Harold."
Trevor didn't know why he blabbed such a personal information on his past, but decided to walk ahead for the village in the rain. The man clearly loves the rain from the way he walked comfortable.

| Maximov was nearly happy about or hated the rain. As he often felt, he was simply... indifferent. The assassin was in such of a mood more often than not, whether on assignment or doing something for personal gain. From where he sat, there was little in the galaxy to truly drive him; a challenge was what he was after in some ways, but no cause, whether good or evil, was truly enough for him to strive for. There was a time when Maximov sought out other swordsmen to fight, to test himself as he saw it, that he was among the best. The trail of bodies and lack of satisfaction left him wanting though, and he soon desisted.
Listening to Trevor's story, Maximov tried to find some similar chord; something that would stir him to more depths... but he simply heard and understood. He could not identify with this man. "A strange story, some might say, but it answers no question. Why have you come to a world that has suffered so much adversity as you have? Or perhaps is it... sentimentality?" As Trevor drew ahead a few steps, Maximov fell silent.

| "You could say that." Trevor kept on walking and being alert for muddy spots. Jabiim was known for its climate, not much more that would worth be mentioning. Except for the Clone Wars, of course. "I guess I just needed some answers. Perhaps a closure." He felt it was necessary. The village wouldn't be too far off. The former Inquisitor still had the possibility of never getting Mira and the Force in the back of his head. Harold may be right, but there was still a part within him that wasn't ready to give up. Perhaps he would change his mind and goes looking, perhaps not.
Only time will tell.

| "Closure is understandable." Maximov fell silent once more, but moved his pace to catch up with Trevor. The GRS-1 snare rifle hung under Maximov's long cloak, concealed from sight. If there was to be an unfriendly meeting in this village, Maximov wanted to be prepared. He watched Trevor out of the corner of his eye as they walked. The younger man was full of anger and sadness and loss; Maximov could feel that much. He would have to keep an eye on him in the coming days.

| The emotions that Harold had felt from Trevor were most likely confusion. There were several feelings at once. The former Imperial kept on pacing and pacing until he had reached the village. It was a small village, just about three hundred natives are settled in. The way of life was simple, there were huts. All the roads that led there were paved with dirt. The people were technologically behind, but the weapons present were up to the date.
There were a guard at each side of the entrance, giving adequate protection against wild creatures and the raiders. "I don't know what will happen so be prepared." Trevor went ahead and walked toward the guard of the south entrance. He was immediately met with a grim expression. The former Inquisitor shook his head, "I need to get in. It's personal." The guard wouldnt have it. Trevor would move to lean his left hand on the belt, where his lightsaber used to be at. Then he slowly pulled back. Sometimes, old habits die hard.
He would remain calm, continuing to attempt to have the man let him in.

| With the population of the village being what it was, Maximov wanted to avoid any trouble, despite the squalid living conditions. He had no quarrel with the folk of Jabiim and there was no need to fight. The problem of course was that Trevor might not necessarily be remembered fondly by all, and, wanting to avoid such incidents, Maximov felt a soft touch here might be more helpful than a hard one.
The assassin's abilities with the Force in certain areas were mediocre; persuasion was one such skill that he'd left lacking so that others could be focused upon, but perhaps what he was able to do here would be enough. Stepping up beside the former Inquisitor, Maximov subtly twisted his own wrist, releasing the power of persuasion into the guard as he spoke softly. "This man has no quarrel with you or these people. He's come in peace. Let him pass, if you'd be so kind." If his abilities were up to the task, the guard might let them in. If not, the man might simply think Maximov was little more than a friend of Trevor's.

| The guard did indeed let both men in. Trevor should be glad at Harold's successful attempt at mind trick, but all Harold would receive as a response was a shaking of his head and a sharp sigh. The man still hasn't gotten over the fact he had lost the Force. Nevertheless, through a grumble, he managed to say thank you. Once they had entered the village, there were natives going about businesses of the day. It had been a decade since he last set foot on Jabiim. It wasn't a pleasant experience for him. He came too late, because his parents had been killed by the Empire for being Separatist sympathizers. He came too late, and the village condemned him for not protecting his homeworld properly.
The villagers stopped what they were doing and simply stared at the duo. An elder was summoned and the old man would come out of his own hut, only to see the disgraced Trevor. "What the Hell are you doing here? You know the price for coming back." There was a stern tone, clearly indicating he didn't want the former Inquisitor to be present. The young man took a look at Harold, and then kept his gaze upon the elder. "Yes, I will answer for the crimes. That's why I am here."
The ex-Inquisitor would approach the elder and extended his hands out for the cuffs to be put on him. He turned to look at Harold, the man had the look on his face that looked heavy, like he wanted to make amends for what he had done in the past.

| Maximov let the sigh go; he could understand, in a fashion, what Trevor must be feeling right now. Nonetheless, this was Trevor's show, and Maximov intended to see to it that he was able to do what he'd come to do. The assassin was silent as the village elder reprimanded Trevor and watched impassively as Trevor allowed himself to be shackled. Unless Trevor requested help, Maximov was little more than an observer... unless of course, the villagers attempted to cuff him as well, which wasn't about to happen. From where he stood with the cloak covering him, he shifted a hand slightly to get onto the trigger mechanism of the GRS-1 that hung just under his right arm, and he continued to watch and wait.

| Trevor looked at the elder, as the elder would put the shackles on. "I know I failed you during the Clone Wars, but I had orders not to come here. Nevertheless, I accepted the responsibility because I should have put my people before the Jedi. Before the Republic. That was why I left the Jedi and fell down the path of darkness." Indeed, Trevor felt the Jedi had betrayed him. "I hurt a lot of people after I left them because I felt I failed you. I have had always been a failure since I left the village." The former Inquisitor would let out another sigh.
"Now, I return without the Force. The Emperor had the Force ripped away from me. I came to ask for forgiveness, and then you can send me on my way. I don't care if it meant never coming back here." For the first time in a long time, he had a heart to heart talk with someone from his village. The elder would remain silent for several moments, before letting his response be heard. "Ok, traveling alone is punishment enough for you. I don't know what it felt like to get the Force ripped off, but I can imagine it must be hard on someone like you." He was referring to Force Sensitives. Right away, the shackles were dropped.
The elder nodded lightly at the young male, acknowleding forgiveness was possible. The male would move away from the elder and toward Maximov. "It was a lot shorter than I expected. Let's go." The ex-Inquisitor would then walk past his acquaintance, but paced so the man could catch up. Once they left the village, he turned to Harold. "If you're planning on part ways, I'm going to need your number."
