"Apologies, it may be some minutes before we're able to turn about and begin to leave." came the reply "We'll just retrieve all our shuttlecraft and cargo haulers and get on our way then as soon as we're ready to go. Are there tugs available." The C-3s began to bear off already to the systems edge, but the MC80 stayed there hanging in a geostationary orbit, it's tractor beams still fixed on the station preventing it crashing down.

They transmitted a coded request to land the refugees to Lord Bowe of Frezen Province, a known dissenter to the present Government and famed contrarian. He was informed that the community aboard were Embarilites (and he was a man who was just at that moment employing one) driven out by poor conditions during the harsh Embarilite winter. They were actually a potentially rather useful group to whoever attained them, the old and the children had mostly died of starvation or cold back on Embaril, so the majority of the survivors were lean willowy men (and some women) with few possessions other than they could carry on their backs. Also, none were Vianists, religion not being popular on Embaril but superstition being rampant. The reason for the Alsakans seeking to place them in Frezen were partially to irritate the Lorrdians (who after all were now firmly irritating them, and had disgusted them with the genocide), and partially because Bowe presided over a fairly diverse province compared to the others and it would be easier for strangers to integrate there.

With the Star Destroyers tractors fixed on the damaged portions of the station, a transmission was sent to the MC80 so that it might disengage, allowing the Imperial vessels to pull the wreckage free of the orbit to a safer distance. Colt, receiving the transmission, simply nodded to himself. "Very well, Commander. My TIEs will continue to escort your ships for the time being, in the event any accidents occur, the Imperial military can be the first to respond."
