Meeting of the necessary evil

The surface were full of red, yellow, orange, and black colors. Volcanoes were erupting actively. Lava pouring down large sections of area. Those that aren't lurking on the surface would find themselves flowing slowly along the large ditches that formed a network of lava rivers. There aren't much of interest on the fiery moon of Mustafar, but one of them would soon grab the attention of the Empire. Up in one of the mountains laid an abandoned prison complex. There was no one present, except a squad of armed militiamen with A280 blaster rifles as their preferred choice of weaponry, as well as light battle armors.

They were led by one man. A man that's 6'4" tall and weight 250 lbs. A man that not many has seen, at least not in a long time. The man would wear a black pants, a white t-shirt along with a tan light armor and a tan leather jacket with fluffy feather inside. The man was wearing a mask, a rebreather mask actually. It was a souvenir from the past. It covered his mouth and nose, but there would be a supporting lines to hold the mask in place running on the jaw and up the nose, running down the center of the bald head until it reached the bottom of his neck.

Both of his hands would lean on the tip of his armor, standing ahead from the rest of the terrorists. He was waiting for The Lightbringer's lap dog to show up.

The Theta-class T-2c shuttle cut the hot air of Mustafar as it screamed over the lava fountains and volcanoes, heading for the beacon that marked the landing site. Circling once above the long-abandoned prison complex, it came to a slow halt and then settled down, facing the group of men in the open. The front ramp dropped and out moved five figures. The one in the lead wore a spacer's jacket and looked nothing more than a smuggler, complete with low-slung heavy blaster pistol on his hip and a brace of knives in a strap across his chest. He walked with a bit of a swagger that caused his curly hair to bounce a bit. Despite his appearance, there was no mistaking the seriousness of the quartet of B2 battle droids that clanked behind him.

Stopping a respectful distance away, the man raised his left hand and gave a half-wave. "Gavin Toor at your service. The boss said you wanted a meeting."

Nene would shook his head once at the sight of battle droids. "Ah, the marvelous machinations of Clone Wars!" The terrorist would let out a loud whisper. Then he slowly walked with both hands still leaning on the armor, slowly toward Gavin. "Too bad we lost the war." Nene spoke with a snarl. Yes, he fought for the Separatists during the Clone Wars. Ironically, the Separatists were disbanded on the world he was born and raised on. "I was never a fan of Dooku, but rather Grievous." Nene had truly believed Grievous was the necessary evil needed to take the galaxy by storm.

"Gavin, is it?" Nene snarled, and would pace himself in a circle around Shiva's emissary. "My birth name is not important. Oh may call me Nene. We will bring a day of reckoning to the Cronese Mandate! We will instill chaos like never before. Your men can do that with ships."

Toor looked amused as 'Nene' paced about him. "I was too young to fight in the Clone Wars. The Shadowlord hired me as a mercenary and I stayed on with him. Point being, Shiva doesn't have an extreme interest in the Cronese Mandate. It's a good site for raiding and for pirate recruitment. What Shiva wants to know is how risking his vessels for your cause is going to benefit him. From what I see here, you seem to be short a goodly amount of ships and you don't have many men."

"It matter not how many men I have. It matter how effective my men are at penerating the security. I believe we should show that the Empire can be defeated. That we can win by penetration and sabotaging their machinations. If we can do that, we have a very good chance of inflicting damage with maximum efforts." Nene would continue to circle the man, the Separatist would be able to hear Nene's heavy breathing.

Toor crossed his arms, amused by the almost sexual-quality of the heavy breathing this man was doing while circling him. "I pray you aren't interested in men," he murmured almost under his breath. "So inflicting damage upon the Cronese Mandate does what exactly against the Empire? The Cronese Mandate disarmed and is a joke these days. They aren't even a power worth considering with all the rules upon them. You know we ought to thank that fool Goodchild and that other fool... what was his name? Kuri? Kuriyokohamashi? I don't recall. Something odd. Either way, the Empire doesn't have a true investment in the Mandate. So by all means, what are your plans?"

He chuckled evilly when Torr was hoping he would be gay, but he dismissed the notion immediately. "That was the point. Kuriyoshi and Goodchild were the fools that had ruined the Cronese Mandate. The point was to humiliate and destroy everything they holds dear. I want to remind them of their failure. I'm sure your boss would relish a chance to humiliate an Imperial, even if it was the pathetic Mandate."

"You're not incorrect on that matter, my new and interesting accomplice." Toor shrugged slightly. "So what do you bring to the table in full, then? Surely you must have at least one ship. Shiva isn't about to commit full resources to a small band with nothing heavy to offer. Oh, he may commit troops and the like for raids, but he keeps his vessels close and safe."

Nene continued to chuckle evilly, "We have personal freighters and fighters that we can use to inflict some damage. But our specialty are ground. We use A280 assault rifles and a whole A LOT of explosives. Our specialty is to blow everything and turn everyone against each other. We are agents of chaos, of sectarian violence. We can instill fear in our enemies like a few can. The Cronese Mandate will fear us, I can promise you that."

The partially masked leader would stop circling and stood in front of Torr, "What do you say? Your boss interested in giving what the.people there truly deserved? They have taken the Imperial security for granted. They will pay dearly for that mistake."

Torr, having heard out the man, was convinced that 'Nene' was suffering from megalomania and far too egotistic... but he might be just what Shiva could use in the Mandate to topple it. "It's acceptable. We could use organic ground agents anyway. Most of Shiva's ground forces are droid units and easily recognizable. So what is it you need then, 'Nene'?"

Nene would move from an evil chuckle to an evil smirk. "I'm glad you see it that way. Firstly, we'll need to keep the supply of explosives and assault rifles coming. We need speeders since stealing a bunch of them does tend to attract attention. Your boss won't have to worry about being put on the spotlight. All the media will be focused on me. It'll make it easier for your boss to produce any behind-the-scenes action.

"One more thing. Your boss have the resources to smuggle my men in. I have only one true demand from your boss: His ruthlessness must match mine. I do not care for the weak and the innocent. Does your boss?"

"I'm fairly confident that the Shadowlord could gut you and all your men here without real issue. And that's for his personal amusement." Toor shrugged again. "His lieutenants who displease him rarely get the chance to do so twice. As for resources, he does possess T-2c shuttles which should be apt enough for your use. When it comes to weapons, you'll have to make do with some we have picked up, or old Clone Wars surplus. They all still kill the same though."

"Choice of weaponry matter not as long as we use accuracy. We will take them down with what we have. Tell me, if I wreak enough havoc in the Cronese Mandate, will the famed Shadowlord meet with me?" His tone was devilish, as if he was almost eager to meet Shiva and to commit chaos as well.

"Commander Shiva will meet with you when he is able, I am sure," Toor said in a calming tone. "You must understand how busy the man is. He coordinates a number of strategic items, in addition to working with mercenary forces and coordinating his own fleet's movements. I'm sure he will meet with you though."

Nene simply nodded, "Excellent. Let's go show what we are made of. Do you have a preferred choice of rendezvous or, as my people prefer, just go in and create as much damage as we can?" The terrorist would wait for Toor to respond, perhaps the Shadowlord needed some time to put together coordinated attack.
