Are the Patriots decaying, or are they reforming?

Sixty-one paused a little before following Sushere into hyperspace. He did have a brief report to send off, and he did so right before the jump. If the sight of Sushere's fighter was any sign, the True Patriots were worse off than had been expected. Fortunately, as Blackfire could afford it, both groups were more than likely to profit from this endeavor, and if the True Patriots worked well, they'd be an even larger thorn in the side of the Empire, allowing Blackfire more maneuvering room. With that, Sixty-one jumped to hyperspace, where he'd eventually arrive at the location.

The cloakshape was the first one that dropped out of hyperspace. The Freedom, the Venator-class star destroyer, was in sight. "There she is. She's yours now." He spoke on the radiocomm once the agent dropped out of hyperspace. The ship was at the edges of the Outer Rim, right at the border of the Wild Space.

"Let me drop the shields and the hangar bay doors." He would dial in the codes tied to the ship. Obviously, he had installed a command code, in an event of hijacking when there's no one around. It did so after a few moments had passed. The cloakshape proceeded to land onto the hangar bay.

Sixty-one flew a brief, leisurely loop around the roughly eleven-hundred meter ship. There were signs of battle scarring and damage about the ship and likely there was a number of items that would have to be repaired. For sure, the odds of repairing the ship to fully operational status were slim, but it would function well enough. Moving to land in the hangar, Sixty-one descended from the shuttle and land in the hangar bay.

"An excellent vessel, in its prime," the agent commented. "Now we have concluded the first part of our deal. You've shown me the ship and I pass on to you the coordinates of the asteroid base." Sixty-one handed Sushere a datapad with the location of the place. "This only leaves the amount of payment, but first, I would like to know which systems work on this vessel and which are damaged or defunct."

He'd take the datapad away from Sixty-One, as he put it into his pocket. "The code to the main console in the bridge is 98513. It has everything you need to know about the ship, what damage there is and what repairs are needed to be made. Everything is right there. Unless you'd like for me to take you to the bridge and show you the list. It might be easier that way." Dustil could have just leave, but because Agent 61 was going to be his employer, he'd have to be friendly.

"That would be quite helpful, actually." Sixty-one would wait while Sushere led him to the bridge for the readouts. "I'll need to acquire a minimum crew, unless your men would like to return and help me move the ship to a more secure location. It might be easier that way, to be truthful. However, in terms of credits, we can either pay you in such, an equal sum of peggats and resources or simply buy you a replacement fleet, unless you'd rather opt to buy your own ships at your own level for your men."

He escorted the agent toward the bridge, pointing out basic information about the Venator. once they got to the bridge, they came upon the main console. Dustil showed the agent how to dial in the codes and had pulled up the readout of the ship, as well as the list of damage or general maintenance problems needed to be fixed. "I'd like a replacement fleet of my own choosing. I'll have my men help you move this ship to a secure location of your choosing. We'd need a ride to the asteroid base, however."

"That can be arranged," Sixty-one said after a bit of thought. "How long will it take for your men to assemble? Depending on that, I may simply just have a crew flown in, bare minimum to fly it of course, but enough to get it underway and working again."

He would let out a sigh. "I'll be honest with you. I've lost some men. I still retain most of my crew, however. First, I have to go to them and convince them that we have a financial provider, and fight against the Empire is possible again. I'll have them here within a couple of days. Is that a problem for you?" Dustil was so used to being in the military. There were a lot of honest men and women in the Republic before Palpatine turned everything downside.

"That is a major problem in terms of logistics," Sixty-one said. "Plus after so long it is possible some of your people may have been turned; no, I will bring my own crew. However, you must gather your people. I will be able to provide payment in whatever forms you prefer. I estimate roughly the equivalent of eight million credits will allow you to purchase a decent fleet, refit your base and feed your people."

Dustil would agree to a such simple order. "That I can do. Thank you for putting confidence in my abilities. I'll go and meet with my people. So we can get our fight with the Empire started." He'd exit the bridge, heading for the hangar bay. Then from there, Dustil would leave in his cloakshape and headed to get his people to do battle with the Empire once again.

With the ship marked for Blackfire and it being highly unlikely so far off the beaten path for it to be found, Sixty-one departed to gather a crew.
