Slowly shifting in the bed a light groan filled the air as she sat up; gently stretching as she pulled the sheet up to cover her body. Slipping out of the bed she pulled the sheet with her, wrapping it around her body before stepping into the bathroom, dropping the sheet outside of the door. With it shut Raulyn took her time preparing herself as she showered before stepping out, fixing her hair. A heavy sigh left her lips when she felt her male partner come up behind before she lightly touched the back of his head then shifted out of his grasp as she pulled on her dress, pushing out the wrinkles.

Taking her leave from the room she let her partner refresh himself as she finished dressing. Raulyn would be gone before the male even stepped back into the hotel room, just like the times before. Standing in the reception area were her bodyguards, the four men waiting quietly as they merely formed around the young woman as she seemed to glide out of the building. It would take merely minutes before arriving at the starport on Muunilist, her private vessel waiting on a landing pad as the Gozanti Cruiser was just waiting for her arrival.

Settling in her seat she was greeted by the sight of a young Twi'lek woman holding a serving tray. Offering a glass of wine to the Baroness before holding the tray and bowing before the slave girl stepped away. "Tell the pilots to proceed." A simple command that was met by one of the bodyguards standing from his seat and walking to the cockpit as the engines fully roared to life. Clearance was a simple thing to come by, the vessel unhindered as it left its landing pad and began to move with ease through the atmosphere and towards the heavens beyond.

The moment that the vessel was far enough away from the world it seemed to jerk forward; jumping into hyperspace as the Baroness took a sip of the wine that was produced by her own winery on Jaemus. Setting the glass down just as she was given a datapad to look over. It was the proposition that she was working on, the best way to open in roads on the planet of Christophsis as she scrolled through the data and information before setting it down. "How long until we arrive." Her bodyguard looked to her as he checked the chrono strapped to his wrist. "The pilots estimate less than a day ma'am."

Raulyn nodded as she settled back in her seat and pushed the wrinkles from her dress. Picking up the datapad once more and looking through the information. "It would seem that the world imports most of its food." She would muse to herself as her bodyguards seemed more worried about checking their weapons rather than the business dealings of the Baroness they protected.

It was the first time in a long time that Christophsis have had a visitor of Senator Bertuman's stature. Indeed, Christophsis was reluctant to invite off-worlders to their planet...especially the prominent ones. All because of the scars of the Clone Wars. Senator Bertuman was a Clone War veteran himself, having participated in anti-Separatist resistance in liberating Christophsis with the help of Grand Army of the Republic. His people had considered adopting an isolationist policy, but the Senator had urged to take the opposite direction. He had firmly believed, and still believes, that bringing in off-worlders would help boost economy among other things in order to improve the planet as a whole. It was kind of last minute, but he did not mind. The native Senator wanted to grab an opportunity to finally open dialogue with other worlds, perhaps for the first time since the Clone Wars.

It took some time to prepare for Baroness Malgrath's arrival. Since there were no planetary force yet, relegate many of his bodyguards as well as the other nobles' in order to supervise security for the lady's arrival. He had traveled to one of Chaldeya's local school in order to obtain the capital's best band to sing upon her arrival. Chaldeya police would use the speeders to patrol the nearby traffic in case there were any threats. Bertuman had sent out a team of freelance pilots utilizing Z-95s to patrol the orbit and to escort the Baroness once she emerge out of hyperspace. He made sure the docking authority have the sovereignty of Jaemus are automatically granted the landing clearance as not to waste the lady's time.

The Senator had hoped the meeting with the Baroness would prove fruitful, as the only thing left was to have himself arrive at the scene of her assigned landing. However, he made sure not to let too many people take a view of her arrival. The man would only allow a select numbers of nobles, as well as reporters, to witness a such event.

The brilliant flash in space marked the arrival of the Gozanti Cruiser, the vessel being maneuvered to avoid the asteroids that were well known. Leaning over slightly; Raulyn looked out one of the smaller view ports, seeing the world below as she sat back and closed her eyes for a moment and set the datapad down. Her finger running along the rim of the wine glass and gently filling the passenger cabin with a low dull hum before she gripped the glass and finished the wine within. The vessel shook gently as it began to make its way through the atmosphere, the pilots checking and correcting their course as needed. "This is a flight from Jaemus with a passenger on board to meet with the Senator of Christophsis."

With the message broadcasted it wasn't long until their path was set out before them. Easing back on their speed; it gave Raulyn the time she needed to look out the view port again and really see the damage that was left from the clone wars. Sighing heavily she looked to her bodyguards there were all standing now, holding to the over head compartments and waiting as the Gozanti Cruiser came to a gentle rocking motion as it landed on the landing pad set aside for the vessel.

Gently standing, the Baroness stretched as she took a step out of the cabin, her bodyguards already ahead of her, at least two of them. Walking through the corridors she remained quiet as she reached the loading ramp. The vessel hissing as the ramp opened and slowly came down, thudding against the landing pad. Already hearing the singing; it wasn't difficult to figure out that a reception had been quickly put together, which was fine to her.

She wouldn't be the first off of the vessel however as the two bodyguards before he stepped down the loading ramp. Their fingers near their triggers as they slowly descended the ramp and took their place at the bottom of it and stood quietly. The next two bodyguards stepped forward in front of the Baroness. The next to exit the vessel as they slowly made their way down to the landing pad.

Following behind the bodyguards was Raulyn, quietly contemplating a deal to be made on the world as she stepped out of the dim vessel. Bringing her hand up for a moment to block the sun and shade her face; she took that moment to allow her eyes to adjust to the sun as she slowly made her way down the ramp. Her dress seeming to flow with each step until she stood at the bottom. The two body guards that came off last stepped forward and lead the way. The two behind her followed suit as they escorted her to the Senator that was waiting on the landing pad.

Raulyn stood silently as her bodyguards stepped aside, though still remained near enough to her to push her out of danger if need be. She gave a warm motherly like smile as she looked to the man. "Senator, it is nice to meet you in person." Raulyn stood silently again, careful with her words as she took quick glances at the buildings around her, seeing some still in ruins and others still being rebuilt.

The Senator would hear the Gozanti Cruiser approaching, their engines clearly being heard. That was the moment he told the band to play a song, standing in middle of a relatively long line of bodyguards. The man would notice the bodyguards being the first one to come out, then the Baroness coming out. He didn't realize she was such a beauty until he had seen her in person. That didn't matter, because they had more pressing matters in attempting to open a dialogue between the two worlds. The freelance pilots would begin patrolling the skies near the landing pad just in case someone tries something. Jason would return a warm smile, gently taking her hand and kiss on it gently as a sign of goodwill. That is, if he was allowed to do so.

"It's a pleasure to have you here, Baroness." The Senator would gesture for her to walk with him toward his personal speeder, with an assigned driver, so he could speak with her rather than driving himself. "Sorry about the security, bodyguards are all I could get at this moment. As you can see, I am trying to work on establishing the very first Christophsisan planetary force. Would you like something to eat? I know a good restaurant not far from here." The Baroness would be able to hear the sirens, as several speeders and speeder bikes owned by Chaledaya police were both in front and in behind of Bertuman's speeder. They were meant for both protection and to clear the streets of traffic wherever they goes. The native Senator proceeded to open the door for the lady to get in first.

Allowing him to take her hand; the simple gesture would be met with a smile and a bow of her head before she straightened herself out. "I am glad to be here Senator. I see that you've brought out as much as you could. Which is more than enough." The Baroness would smile as she looked to the band and the few bodyguards that he had brought together. Her own bodyguards would move ahead as one approached the driver of the speeder, gently tapping his shoulder to move him over into the passenger seat as he took the position in the driver seat. "Bodyguards are enough, I do apologize, my own bodyguards are ever vigilant in their duties, I hope the driver doesnt mind." Raulyn smiled as she stepped into the speeder, leaning back in the seat as the three remaining bodyguards approached the speeder.

One bodyguard stood up on the side of the speeder and rest against it, his weight being balanced out by another bodyguard after the Senator took his seat. The final bodyguard would sit on the back of the speeder as Raulyn looked over to the man that was hosting her visit. "I believe that we should get to our meeting as quickly as possible. I was able to have some food on the journey and at this moment I do not feel that hungry." She looked to the officers that would serve as the security for the vehicle convoy.

"I believe that the Magraths can help bring your vision of a planetary force to life; if you are willing to deal." The Baroness turned her attention forward as she waited for the vehicle convoy to take them to their meeting.

The driver would move aside to the passenger seat, the man didn't care. He was getting paid neither way. Senator Bertuman was fine with it, both politicians would receive protection inside the speeder either way. He nodded at the Baroness when she said she had already ate. The impression was she was in some sort of hurry. That impression was already placed upon him when she had decided to contact him via the HoloNet. That was fine with him. Politicians does have a tendency to have a busy schedule. Which was the reason why he had the path ahead of them cleared out, with police escorting them and all.

The convoy would move toward the Chaledaya Governmental Building, as he shifted his attention toward the lady. "I'm keeping an open mind to all the options. What does the Magraths have to offer?" Senator Bertuman would simply ask, curious about her response.

"Food" It was a simple enough answer, and it was what she had to offer. Clearing her throat for a moment she looked up as the convoy pulled away from the landing pad. Her hands resting on her lap as she crossed her fingers together. "To rebuild a world you need workers. To keep those workers healthy they need food. That is what the Magraths can offer. While the Magrath lands produce both the needed resources for the Magrath Winery and Magrath Textiles, we still have land that produces large quantities of foodstuffs." She looked up as she took a moment to take in the scenery of the world as they traveled through the still damaged city.

"We are also looking into land on Dantooine for the Magrath Winery, which would further open the capabilities to produce more foodstuffs by the Magrath Plantation." Raulyn watched as the buildings flew by until the convoy came to a stop. "We can also aid you financially. Though with the large amounts of minerals and ores that the Christophsis planet and the asteroids hold; you may not require such aid. We do however have links on Muunilist that would be helpful in bringing you into contact with reputable and reliable contractors and businessmen that would further aid in the rapid rebuilding and growth of your planet."

When the convoy stopped her bodyguards jumped off of the speeder. The four of them moving around the vehicle and waiting as they continued to ensure her safety. "I understand the history of Christophsis and the people wishing to remain isolated by their own choice. However in order to fully rebuild to their former potential and height, they need to see that deals such as what I offer are beneficial in the long run."

The Senator of Christophsis raised his eyebrows and looked at the Baroness, wondering how food would be related to establishing Christophsis' very first planetary force. The Baroness made the indirect connection by the fact that the workers needed food in order to operate effectively. That was a good concept, and one that most people don't think of because most of the sentient beings usually took the most basic needs for granted. Senator Bertuman would admit to himself that he had taken food for granted sometimes, perhaps more than he knew himself. The man nodded lightly at the Baroness' sensible proposal, "You are correct. While it would be nice to take in more credits, we do not need such. What we do need are a lot of things in order for my government to improve the planet as a whole."

Jason turned to look outside the window, noticing that the convoy had come to a halt. "It's more than likely I would accept taking in large quanities of foodstuffs. However, before I accept, I need to know what your planet want in return." The Senator also noted the potential of the Baroness connecting him with people that could assist in the rapid expansion of the new Christophsis,. "We do not want to return to former potential and height. If we were performing a such task, Christophsis would not have joined the Imperial Senate. We would have used the policy of isolationism to a great effect. On the contrary, my beliefs are that if we are to improve the planet as a whole, we would need to perform to a new potential and new height."

He spoke as his own bodyguards would leave their assigned speeders in order to escort Senator Bertuman, all while he was escorting Baroness Magrath to Chaledaya Governmental Building. "Which meant opening dialogue with several planets, including yours."

The Baroness had to hold in a small laugh as the question of what her planet wanted in return was brought up. "No no dear Senator. I do not represent the planet Jaemus. For all intents and purposes the government of Jaemus is the company Galentro Heavy Works. I am here representing the Magrath family; which is one of the oldest families on the planet Jaemus. The proper question would be what do the Magraths want in return." Raulyn stepped out of the speeder as she stretched a bit, never liking the confines of the smaller utility speeders and having always preferred her spacious speeder. Though is had been sitting in a garage collecting dust for a very long time since her father's and youngest brother's accident years ago.

Her hand came up to shield her eyes for a moment from the sun as she looked up at the Governmental Building; taking a moment to look at the architecture before she stepped within. "I am all for opening dialogue between planets, though I must remind you; you are not dealing with the government of Jaemus. Just an old and influential family that has resided on the world since the first settlers. To that point the Magraths have a lot of pull and can gather as many foodstuffs as possible to ship." As they strolled through the halls of the Governmental Building, her own bodyguards remained near. They were a stubborn lot and even if they had been requested to hand their weapons over, it was likely that they would refuse to do so unless it was from an order by the Baroness herself.

"In the next few days the Magraths will be aiding two ranches on our southern border of our lands. We have known the families for a very long time and it has been clear for some time that they can barely keep their ranches afloat. This entails the acquisition of the two ranches, including two rather large Nerf herds. Which in turn means more foodstuffs in the form of meat, as well as more textiles from their wool and leather which the Magrath Textiles would be more than willing to include in any deal made. After all, not only does a worker need to be fed, they must also be clothed."

[Orbit of Christophsis]
[Governor Tu'Rot personal shuttle]

"Military advisors... to this place?" Xane questioned as Tu'Rot sat in his room, all by himself. It was one of those spuring moments again, causing the man to run away from his security staff to be alone... again. However not as frequent, the sudden change of pace got too much for Tu'Rot sometimes. However once he was alone, he was feeling better. "I don't see any harm..." Xane nodded some. "Well... just make sure he remains loyal... we are going to alter the deal if he really wants us to help train his people." Tu'Rot agreed with him as Xane disappeared. Standing up, he would exit the room with a bright smile on his face. "Sorry about that!!!" The man exclaimed happily, looking towards the pilots. "Why are we waiting?!" Storming into the cockpit, he would see what the problem was. One of the pilots looked back at the man. "My lord... Christophsis officials claim we are not on the manifest, therefore must wait like everyone else..." Tu'Rot grinned. "Give me a set!!!" The pilots had just did ground control a mis-deed.

"Attention ground control!!! This is Governor Draken Tu'Rot!!! I was invited by YOUR Senator to come tour the planet!!! Now if you want to be responsible for me withdrawing my answer, you'll make room!!!" Waiting for a response, Goveror Tu'Rot would stand by in the cockpit.

Senator Bertuman would allow the Baroness' bodyguards to continue wielding weapons, and so will his own bodyguards. Chaledaya Police would keep the path back to the docking bay open, for their meeting would not be that long. Especially if Governor Tu'rot was going to make an unannounced visit. "You may not be the government of Jaemus, but conferring with someone that came from Jaemus is a start. Sometimes, conferring with native companies can have a positive impact with the government...however how indirectly related that may be." The Christophsisan would lead the Baroness to his own office, and opened the door for the lady to enter. That was the moment one of his aides would rush up to the man with a tone of urgency. "Governor Tu'rot from Acherin is currently in the orbit, demanding to land onto the planet. Since the Governor did not schedule any visit, that was the main reason the docking authority did not allow him through.

The Senator would raise his eyebrows, "I did not expect him to arrive this early. He was supposed to let me know when he would show up. Nevertheless, contact the docking authority and order them to let him through. Have some of the city police divert to his assigned docking bay in order to escort the Governor, escort him through the very same path we took to get here." Fortunately, the path were already clear so Tu'rot can arrive hastily. "But do not let him leave the guest lobby until I conclude the meeting with the Baroness, give him what he want. Food, drinks, do personal errands for him, whatever it takes to make him comfortable."

The aide would nod and run off to inform the docking authorities to let the man through. Meanwhile, some units were dispatched to docking bay number one. Once he had allowed the Baroness into his own office, he would take his own seat behind his favorite desk. "I'm assuming the Magrath family want to purchase some land on Christophsis in order to meet the basic needs of your friends on Jaemus. Am I correct?"

While Senator Bertuman was alerted to the pending arrival of a Mr. Tu'rot, her own datapad chimed; marking the arrival of a new message. Lifting it up as the Senator dealt with the aide, she looked over the information before setting down. Her attention called back to the man when he questioned about the Magrath's purchasing land on Christophsis before she lightly shook her head. "No, no Senator. The Magrath's only buy land when we wish to expand our Textile or Winery business." She placed the Datapad down on the table before she dealt with the wrinkles in her gown before bringing her own attention back to the matter at hand. "Christophsis is a world rich in minerals, mainly due to the asteroid field in orbit. We're more interested in that, or to say the minerals. I'm sure we'd be able to come to some agreement as to allowing a fair amount of mineral rights; which would in turn be used in further constructions of vessels by the Magrath Shipwrights."

A second chime from her datapad brought her attention back to it as she lift it up again and clicked on the message that had appeared. "Now Senator, while food is also needed, one can not have a proper security force without weapons. These alerts from my Datapad have been simple messages to tell me that the Magrath Weapons Foundry was established on schedule and has already introduced its first design. While our facility is a small one, I'm sure we'd be able to produce a few sets of the CBR-10s for your security force. Though we're not like the SDC, we believe in quality over quantity and to ensure such quality we'd only be able to produce a limited number at this time. Enough for your forces to test the weapon and see if you'd be interested in procuring more in the future."

Raulyn sat the Datapad down in front of the Senator, allowing him to look over the design of the weapon. The four bodyguards she had brought with her didnt like the sound of this Tu'rot fellow too much. From what they had heard he was an unpleasant fellow who had the tendency to do nothing but shout and scream his words rather than speak them. The Baroness cleared her throat for the moment before she placed her hands together. "Can we come to a deal Senator, I'm sure that from the sound of it your other guest doesnt like to be kept waiting, and I'd hate to be the reason for your being tardy to your next meeting."

As soon as the permission was authorized the land, Governor Tu'Rot retreated into the back room to prepare himself for his meeting with Senator Bertuman. He could feel the shuttle's engines kicking into life as it proceeded towards the designated landing area as it broke atmosphere and made it's way planet-side. The shuttle would make its way towards the docking bay and proceed to land. Once it landed, the ramp was lowered. The Military Training Team that Governor Tu'Rot had brought with him were the first ones to exit the shuttle. 10 men in their Dress Black uniforms would line up in a 5 by 5 man formation and await there. Governor Tu'Rot would proceed down the ramp and did not see Senator Bertuman. He'd proceed towards the officers that were there in front of him and thrust his hand into the hand of the leading officer. "Greetings!!!" He'd shout. "Governor Draken Tu'Rot, Governor-General of the Red Twins System!!!! I believe that Jason is expecting me?!!! Where is he?!!!" Tu'Rot would glance around, not seeing the Senator anywhere. "He does know I'm here, right?!" Tu'Rot would question.

The Christophsisan would continue to listen to the Baroness' suggestions on the asteroids and the possibility of the asteroids being used by the Magrath Shipwrights. Senator Bertuman would entertain the thought for a moment, and wasn't sure how much of the asteroids he wanted to give up to the Magraths' Shipwrights. Then again the Baroness made a fair deal by offering him a limited numbers of weapons to test out and an abundant supply of food. He nodded lightly, "I will accept your offer, under one condition. You see, my people had been utilizing the policy of isolationism for so long that the Clone Wars didn't help but worsen our mistrust toward off-worlders. I would like to ease their tensions by having some of the planetary officials observe your mining operations for some time, perhaps a month or two. Look at this as a trail run. This is to prevent anyone from ferrying too much minerals out of our system. All your people have to do is to prove us wrong, and show us your company would be the kind of company that we want to stick around."

He cleared his throat and defected the issue to the weapons the Baroness had offered his planet, "Certainly, we are always interested in improving our planetary defense. We would love to give the CBR-10s a test run. In return, we will allow your weaponry business to establish a branch here on Chaledaya. I will write up the treaty and have it shipped to Jaemus in order for you to sign the treaty as soon as possible. Have a good day, Baroness and I hope to see you again. I am sure we have more business to do in the immediate future." Jason would extend his hand for the lady to shake before departing to go see what the colorful Governor wanted.

Upon returning to the landing bay, he would return with his personal bodyguards as well as Chaledaya Police Force as the usual additionl security. The Christophsisan Senator did not wait for one of the bodyguards to open the door for him. Instead opting to do it himself, getting out of the speeder and was heading to greet Governor Tu'rot and the military advisers he apparently brought with him. "I apologize for the inconvenience. I did not expect you and your men to arrive this early. If we were informed of your arrival ahead of the schedule, I would have had the docking authority let you pass through."

He went to extended his hand for the Governor of Acherin to shake, "No matter, welcome to Christophsis. My people are excited about the prospect of establishing the very first Christophsisan planetary force with your help. Your reputation precedes you, and I have heard of the fine training your men receives on Acherin."
