"I believe you are mistaken," Irlilia said smoothly as she turned again to face the agent and the Inquisitor. "Tarin, Rukk'khrik, please be so kind as to slowly show Lieutenant Gemmell exactly what you are carrying." After all, with disruptor weaponry being illegal, it would be nonsensical for two of Alyn Stark's closest guardsmen to simply be carrying such weapons openly, much less to have them on the premises of a castle that was likely to be visited by Imperials or a Moff at one point or another.

As such, Rukk'khrik very slowly and openly eased one of the knives in its sheath, showing a grip that very well could have looked like a disruptor pistol's, while Tarin Mako equally as slowly unslung the modified E-web blaster that also could be mistaken, modified as it was, for a disruptor rifle. "Knives and a modified blaster, Lieutenant," Irlilia said with a friendly enough tone. Nothing to worry about."

By the time they arrived at Ana's location, they'd acquired a retinue of a half-dozen Castle Stark guardsmen as well for escort as befitting Imperial visitors.

"Thank you, Mr....."  Ana trailed off because she did not know his name, since he had not bothered to introduce himself before he started speaking to her.  "Thank you for your condolences."  She murmured a moment later before she sat her teacup aside.  Lady Stark watched him carefully as he spoke, watching his subtle movements.  Ana looked to Malinara for a brief moment, making sure the Echani was not going anywhere.

"I am from Naboo, which I imagine you already knew without asking."  She said.  "It's was only splashed over the pages of all of the holos when I married Lord Stark.  Or do you mean my accent?  Either way, yes.  I am from Naboo.  And yes, it is still quite beautiful."  Ana was polite, but her patience was thin.  Being in the last month of pregnancy made her tired and somewhat irritable (as well as emotional), and her husband dying...had destroyed her.

"Would you care for a cup of tea?  Or perhaps you could just tell me why you are here."  She didn't tell him that she had received a communication from his superior, or that he was coming to visit her also.

"Mr Stave, if you will. I'm here to assure your own personal protection and to investigate the allegations made against Lord Stark, and investigate further if there is any taint of force use within these precincts. Are these fellows your bodyguards? Or former guards of Alyn Stark? I also require the Castle's commanding officer to be here presently. I apologize for the Lieutenant's blunder in having his droid make mistakes." Ka-Dek was taken aback by the woman's brusque and rude attitude, after all he was just doing his duty. "The names of Alyn Stark's personal guards, if you please? He said taking out documents from his satchel and preparing to note them down."

"Oh you silly Droid H8!" Paul said in a jovial manner. "Can't get the droids these days eh? He's fabulous with systems but show him his own sensor suite and sometimes he is a little erratic. No matter and I hope no offense caused." He used the active data uplink on his wrist communicator with the Imperial Intelligence Field Office.

"Requesting one Interrogation squad, two scanning teams from Tech, a Cryptographics unit would be useful too. Please ask Signal to intercept all inward and outgoing communications from the castle or the surrounds. Let the ISB in Qatamer know we'd like as many members of Enforcement or ISB Stormtroopers as they have available transported to the castle as rapidly as possible. Roadblock to be put in place on the Entry, full scans to be made on all traffic and regular searches. Further a I'd like to indent to the nearest Imperial Army Unit for a company of their finest as soon as they can spare them. Also, instruct Lorrdian control to shut down the airspace over the area of the Castle, have the ship I came in in the air to verify enforcement. Gemmell out."

He looked up after typing away for a few seconds. "Well, fellow beings. Who's in charge of security in these parts? He'd say jovially to one of the Shadow Guards. Please make your gates and landing pads aware that there will be further Imperial personnel visiting presently. I need full access codes to all your computers, including especially those of Lord Stark. I also am told the investigation here will require investigation of Alyn's ships, as such to prevent anyone making off with them there's a no fly zone to be instituted presently. Also, I'm placing a checkpoint on the road into this Castle complex, so we can monitor who goes in and out. I also need blueprints of the Castle, accurate blueprints if you please, discovery of concealed chambers will be considered attempting to pervert the course of justice." he silenced his rattle of instructions as they reached Ana's room.

The young Gemmell was in love at first sight with the delightful Mrs Stark and gave her a sincere look of empathy "Mrs Stark, I am terribly sorry for your loss. Lord Stark was among the most promising of the Novus Homo, that's "New Men" to people who speak something a little more Modern. There is a saying where I come from, that is that the good die young, and I hope you don't think this investigation tarnishes his memory in any way?"

Malinara would let Ana answer certain questions to Mr. Stave. Obviously the Shadowguard were her personal guard now, and while technically, Malinara was in charge of castle defense, she assumed he was referring to the actual Castle Stark guardsmen chain of command. "I'll have him here in a few minutes. The names you need include the following: Azaghor Azhirai, Rukk'khrik, Larna Mosset, Malinara Starey, Tarin Mako and Irlilia Dannen."

Specific units such as interrogation teams, scanning teams and a cryptographic unit would not be found on Lorrd directly; this was the Outer Rim, after all, and not all worlds held such sophisticated Imperial teams. The closest point of contact for such would be Kelm, in this case, and the waiting time for the request, once sent out by the droid to go through proper channels, ensure validation and so forth, was likely to take several days at the best, to include gathering of equipment and requisition and such, including transit time.

The ISB in Qatamer was not a large unit; Lorrd was not a world suspect or in need of pacification, after all. They would be able to muster a platoon of ISB stormtroopers, but the closest Imperial Army unit was also on Kelm.

"We will provide access codes and blueprints we have, Lieutenant," Malinara would continue. "Unfortunately, only Lord Stark knew his personal codes for his own computers."

The brusque and rude attitude that Mr. Stave may have thought he sensed from Ana Stark was no more than the fact that she was heartbroken and very much pregnant with her deceased husbands son.  "They are my personal guards, Mr. Stave.  And dear friends, if it helps.  Not one here would ever let anything happen to me, and would lay down their own lives to assure my safety."  She used Alyn's words, the same that he used when he explained to her how the Shadow guard would protect her.  The words caught in her throat briefly as she choked back her emotion.

When Paul Gemmell pranced into the room, Ana sat her teacup down again.  "Thank you, Mr. Gemmell."  She said politely as she offered her hand to him.  "I will admit, I am unsure what is being investigated.  But yes, I am concerned about this being done now.  The memorial has not even happened yet, and I am not sure why it cannot wait a few days until my staff and myself have had time to mourn and pay our last respects to my late husband."

"I have friends coming; from Naboo, Senator Thanatos of Chandrila, and a few from here on Lorrd.  I hope that you will not give them a problem coming here to be with me, will you?"  She asked as she watched him with her deep, chestnut brown eyes.  "I would rather cooperate and get along and get this over with, if you do not mind, but your cooperation would also be appreciated.  This is a rather difficult time, after all.  I am sure you understand?"  Ana questioned him as Mrs. Miteya sat a tea tray out so Mr. Gemmell could join her.

"I shall attempt to keep my investigations discrete and swift, and your trust in your guards is admirable, I may be bringing in a couple more staff to aid my investigation. To be clear, I am at present investigating if Alyn or his late associate had any dealings with forbidden knowledge, including but not limited to that of the Jedi Order." he placed the notes of the names back in his bag quietly.

"What interesting guards.." he said noting down those names. "I will immediately examine the records and schematics of this place. I can offer you a platoon if ISB Stormtroopers to bolster your guard if you wish to remain here Mrs Stark." he tapped on his communications device "Do you know the name of the deceased bodyguard who acompanied Alyn when he went to Trandosha? An Epicanthix I gather?" he moved on quickly "My investigation ought not to take more than a few days, I'd like access to the personal rooms of Lord Stark for a discrete inspection at some point also"

Turning to the "Shadowguard" who seemed to be in charge he spoke gently "If you'd like me to commence immediately so as to be finished as quickly as possible and leave Mrs Stark to grieve, I'd like you to take me to the personal terminal into which Lord Stark would enter these codes. I'm quite adept in cryptography, especially with regard to electronic systems, it's all just learning to talk to the computer on it's own level I find."

The psychotic attire of the Castle guards appearing to have convinced Imperial Intel this was little more than a poor joke, he received a message from Director Olsen and quickly scanned it, cancelling the requests for dispatch to be sent. Paul blushed slightly being offered the hand and gave a gentle bow as he shook it. "Imperial Intelligence has just notified me that they believe the original threat I was sent here to protect you and Lord Stark from is unlikely to be a risk to you now. Still, we would very strongly advise you to return to Imperial Center as while it is possible enemies of Stark might come here due to it being on the fringes of civilization, the Empire can guarantee you a much higher level of safety. You are of course an Imperial Citizen and the widow of a Captain who served with distinction in the Navy, I am sure every measure would be instituted for the safety and well-being of your blessing soon to come and your own self.." he said politely.

The young Lieutenant leant towards her attempting to keep quiet so the guard wouldnt hear clearly, evident concern on his face. "Every being I have seen here is armed as if he were going to battle, I truly believe that with such a proliferation of arms you are at greater risk than on Imperial Center or Naboo which strongly regulate such devices of death.

Malinara waited, of course, for Ana to respond to the Inquisitor, but then she'd add her portion. "I shall escort you to Lord Stark's personal terminal. I cannot tell you what it may be protected by in terms of encryption, but if at all possible, do work safely with it. I know that none of us have attempted to access it since his departure."

"Gadrid."  She said simply, with her gaze going to Malinara briefly.  "If I may be clear as well, Mr. Stave, Lord Stark would never have had any dealings with any Jedi.  If Gadrid were a force user, I am sure that my husband would have known nothing of it."  She said, clearning her throat.  "I see no reason for you to look in our personal rooms for any evidence of such.  Unless you believe that my husband was hiding secrets amongst my gowns or in a drawer of unmentionables, then I believe that you can wait until your superior gets here and you may consult with him.  Did I forget to mention that he sent word to me that he would be arriving soon? It must have slipped my mind."

She turned her attention to Mr. Gemmell, and left Mr. Stave for Malinara to deal with.  Ana, too, would lower her voice.  "Mr. Gemmell, I appreciate your concern, but the guardsmen here are quite kind and no harm will come to me.  I do admit, their helmets are a trifle disturbing.  They remind me a bit of these finned...sharks that I saw in the aquarium on Imperial Center once."  Ana took up her tea again, gently nudging a cup his direction.  It was a fragrant lavender and belladonna blend that Ana was drinking, a mild relaxant that her physician had approved, but there was also a pot of straight black tea that Ana had left untouched. "But, I assure you, I am quite safe here."

"I cannot fathom leaving Lorrd at a time like this.  Especially not with my son due in a matter of weeks, you see?  Also with the memorial being planned in the near future.  I do appreciate your suggestion, however.  My place is here, in my home."  Ana teared up slightly, but forced herself not to let the tears fall.  "Who is your superior, Mr. Gemmell? I would like to send a kind word to him in thanks for sending you to try and help us, despite your glaring failure to arrive here in time..."  She offered a light smile.

"Am I to understand that you are.. unwilling to permit me to action my formal request to enter your husbands armouries, chambers and ships?" he ignored the reference to his superior, he began to concentrate the force uncomfortably around her throat, just to constrict it slightly and make her uncomfortable "I have.. ways.. of tracking your husband's movement from access to his personal items and vessels, thus I would like to ask again, officially... Will you willingly allow me access to these facilities?"

"Ma'am" he said very politely, ignoring Ka-Dek as he prepared to leave "My superior to write to would be Deputy-Director Olsen, I cannot for obvious security reasons give the name of my direct-report who is the rank immediately above me as he is also a field agent. If there is no more I can do for you Milady, I must take my leave and leave you with the good Mr Stave here." he gave a small bow "Again, a thousand apologies for my late arrival, it is a failure that leaves me with little sleep these many nights and I will warrant for a good deal more in future."

Not wanting to speak for Ana, and not quite recognizing just yet what Ka-Dek was doing, Malinara moved between his line of sight and Lady Stark. "Lady Stark means to say that allowance will be given, under supervision, of course. Understanding that you do have an investigation to be undertaking and also understanding that your superior will apparently be here in less than a day's time, from the communications Lady Stark mentioned, I'm more than willing to grant access to the portions of Lord Stark's rooms that you'll need. Certainly, I don't see you needing access to his personal refresher. That would be a little odd, even for one of your kind."

Ana shook her head, just before she felt the slight, yet startling tension coil around her lithe throat. It was enough to unsettle her, and the teacup slipped from her hand and shattered against the marbled flooring before she reached for Malinara's arm.

"What I am saying....is that you do not need to enter my bedchamber.  I said nothing of his ships or armories." What Malinara had said was quite good enough, and what he was given access to would take up enough of his time until she could speak with Deschain upon his arrival on Lorrd. "That is my official answer."

Ka-Dek's communicator went off, he looked down at it and examined the message from none other than the Grand Inquisitor. "I must bid you farewell. I have been summoned away to other duties. My superior, as you mentioned, will be along presently I am sure." and then he swiftly made his exit. Returning to his transport and departing for Imperial Center.
