Eliphas Cale to Dantooine Comes

| Dantooine and all its glory was laid open before Eliphas Cale as he gazed out at it. The Greenwatch was a spacious craft, allowing for fourteen passengers, but now, aside from Cale, it held only one of his four security personnel, his body servant and his adjutant he'd brought from his home on Baltimn; the other three security men were currently manning the craft in question. Behind Cale's ship came a pair of Sentinel-class landing craft and a Concealer-class prison ship. On board the three vessels were Cale's prisoners meant to construct the fort as Ribaldequin wanted as well as the garrison members that he'd been promised, followed by the 8-Q starfighter bearing his Sector Rangers. The strange little procession hailed Dantooine Control's XQ-O station when they arrived.
"Dantooine Control, this is Greenwatch with escorts, bearing Prefect Eliphas Cale for Dantooine."

| "This is Dantooine Customs Control, your Imperial Transponders are showin' up real clear and check out. As such y'all are exempt from searches or permits or any of that and have the run of the system. I'm transmitting a vector now for Garang Starport." spoke the very slightly possibly drunk voice out of the communicator (but it was hard to tell with Dantooinians). They were given a vector in.

| Thus cleared, Cale and his escorts moved to the Garang Starport, where the ships dropped off their cargoes and departed and Cale was left to sort out his new troops and transport to the residence.

| An attache of Militia lead by General Eel met them at the starport. He was wearing his customary Militia uniform with it's Colonel's bars. A Platoon of Dark Red Armoured Guardsmen also awaited and raised their rifles into a salute with a precision that would make the most psychotic drill sergeant happy. As the Prefect disembarked Eel walked along his line of men to meet the new arrival.
"Welcome to Dantooine, your Excellency" he said in his soft toned voice, raising a hand in a gentle salute. "I trust your trip was uneventful?"

| Having been briefed along the way as to some of the dramatis personae of Dantooine, Cale knew who the man was at once by his uniform, despite the lack of stars on his uniform. "General Eel, a pleasure." Cale returned the salute sharply. "The trip was quite uneventful. I'm pleased to say that the men I've brought with me will serve well to construct the garrison that Moff Ribaldequin requested be erected for you." Taking a deep breath, Cale exhaled. "Dantooine. Bit drier than Baltimn, but not unpleasant. So tell me, General Eel, what can I do for you as Prefect?"

| "Retired General your Excellency, I merely hold a Colonel's Commission in the Khoonda Militia now." he looked up at the clear skies nodding at the remark about it being dry. "Dry now, y'all wait till the rains come, two months of rain twice a year without a letup. I hope you folk brought well sealed boots to cope. As for what you can do as Prefect, I don't rightly know if I am honest. I'm not exactly clear what an Imperial Prefect does, to tell the truth. Didn't have all these posts when I was in Republic Service." the General/Colonel spoke mildly and honestly, not being one known for hiding his ignorance if it was there.

| "Colonel Eel, then. My apologies. I've been giving some standing orders by Moff Ribaldequin to include supporting Administrator Ray and his officers on-world, construction of a garrison base, the exploration of a former CIS facility on the moon of Parakus and in general, ensure that things run smoothly between the Khoonda Administration and the Imperial side of things. I was informed that certain tools and vehicles would be available to me via contract. If you'd be so kind, would you be willing to provide me with directions to my new home and and then the proper contacts for being able to acquire these vehicles. I plan to spend a day or two setting up immediate needs and then proceeding to the construction site near Rieleg Courthouse."
