| I'd love to actually go through all of this, and work on it, but there is a problem here. Part of our rules is that characters, while not having any sort of income system, are expected to behave within reason of their expected pay. Verilia has, in less than a couple of weeks, personally acquired seven galactic corporations. While these corporations have their own funds, change of management and mergers are typically fiscally tasking ordeals over a several month period. However, from your wording, this is a Verilia project, not a corporate project. So... I vote, on fiscal grounds, to DENY this request.

| Sorry if the wording made it sound that way. This is meant as a use for all the Corporations, that Darres owns. The funds would come from each Corporation to ensure the maintenance and such for the fleets that would be escorting the mined minerals and material tot he warehouse, where it would be protected while it waits to be shipped out elsewhere, at which time the escort ships would keep the freighters safe during their journey. Again, I'm sorry that the wording makes it sound like its a Darres project and not a Corporation project, and will go with it if its fully denied.

| A few points I'd like to make. First, the same thing Orion has said about Verilia's funds; he's been spending a lot of his money on these ventures. Eos Mining would require a lot of startup capital. Mensix strikes me as a failed company that Verilia is essentially re-starting from scratch (rebuilding its mining facility, etc.). Glacial Ice Mining would need a lot of new equipment. The reason I mention this is because so little time has elapsed in which Verilia has done so much that his investments can't possibly have paid off (yet). So I, too, am going to be reluctant to approve of many more expenditures from him in the short term. Another, related point; Eos Mining and Glacial Ice Mining, as new companies, almost certainly don't have a lot of capital to contribute to defenses right now. Mensix was wrecked, and isn't likely to have a lot of money, either. And the real moneymaker so far, the Xerrol Corporation, probably just has some workshops and warehouses on some planet and doesn't require anything more than the local police force to defend it. So I can't imagine its board voting to spend any money to defend other companies that Verilia owns. This brings us, again, to Verilia basically spending his own money.
So, I'm willing to approve of some of these, but with the understanding that it's going to essentially use all of Verilia's remaining money. My numbers differ somewhat from Orion's (though, for the purpose of moving the request along, I too vote to DENY the things he's chosen to deny). But I also DENY the M22-T Krayt gunships (which don't exist yet),

And that, friends, is as far as I got on this request before malware, apparently from Wookieepedia, basically shut down my computer. I've just now finished repairing it (remarkably, Firefox saved the post I was writing) and I'm a bit reluctant to go to Wookieepedia again until I have some sort of basic firewall protection in place. Does anyone recommend a good (free) firewall?
