Clarifying some canon issues I've noticed

I read on the Deep Core article on wookiepedia that the Empire had nationalized carbonite mining and made checkpoints into the deep core that required clearance from the ISB and other agencies to travel through.

I haven't been playing it as that, and since there aren't specific dates noted in the article - could we perhaps simply rectify this by assuming that said events haven't happened yet? (I do actually have a storyline that I'm developing currently in the rp that would reasonably lead to those events while staying with canon but allowing me some creativity).

There are also other articles that mention more than Phoros and Koros Major being populated in the system. (but the articles are from 25,000 BBY eras. Can this be rectified by stating that over the last thousands of years, those colonies failed? Hence the current king's desire to repopulate them to rebuild the ancient Empress Teta?

We've made slight modifications or clarifications to the canon for the betterment of the RP atmosphere (more and more, I've noticed lately), and I see no problem with this. APPROVE.

"Clarifications" of the canon, I'd say. More so than "modifications." As for this request, I'm absolutely for it. It makes no sense to me that Empress Teta, a planet of 1.3 billion, and the other Tetan worlds would be so cut off from the rest of the galaxy. We can say the Empire hasn't done so yet, as you suggest, or simply that the Empire does restrict access to the Deep Core but further into the Deep Core than Empress Teta, since the planet is rather on the periphery of the Deep Core. We can also say nationalization of carbonite mining either hasn't happened yet or perhaps it just hasn't been nationalized everywhere. Either way, I APPROVE.
