I'm not exactly going to be requesting the Gigantos in numbers, I just wanted to request that the vessels be established as being seen in the Cronese Mandate, often carrying the wealth of the resources that are being mined and collected through out the uninhabited worlds of the Mandate and shipped through out the Mandate. The only time they'd be seen outside of the Mandate is if they are shipping the resources, cargo, goods, etc etc to worlds outside of the Mandate, at which time they'd more or less act as a large convoy guard, able to protect themselves and ships around them.
With the Chandaar class Battleship, I kind of see it as a replacement for the Keldabe class Battleship that the Mandate currently has. As such I'd like to request a trade out, x1 Chandaar Class Battleship for x1 Keldabe Class Battleship. I believe that the specs should be even enough, with the Keldabe being far more heavily armed, considering it carries x5 Turbolaser Batteries (A battery being 8 guns each, so roughly 40 Turbolaser cannons) as well as x3 Batteries of Heavy Ion Cannons (roughly 24 Heavy Ion Cannons) While it is a major trade down in the weapons department, the Chandaar class is focused more around Sector Defense, and Fleet command of vessels in the Sector when on mission. The Chandaar being more focused on the defensive aspect, and defensive command needed, compared to the highly offensive and destructive Keldabe class.
The Sinderon class Frigates fill more of an in between role, when a Seraph of Chandaar Class is too much, but a Prowler isnt enough. While Prowlers often work together with Seraphs, the Sinderon is designed to stand a bit more on its own. Its more of a patrol based ship, with its main mission role being Sector Patrol, and secondary role being that of a Missile Frigate, due to its launch tubes being its main weapon. The Sinderon class would be seen patrolling the whole of the Mandate, from it's deepest worlds, to its outer most borders.
With all this said, I'll compile the numbers for the request.
Gigantos class Super Freighters - Request being that they be established as the main cargo vessels of the Mandate, often working with the smaller GR-75s
x1 Chandaar class Battleship - To replace the Keldabe Class Battleship x4 Sinderon class Frigates - For Mandate patrol x12 Siren class Bombers - First of only Four squadrons that the Mandate would be fielding, the Sirens would be based at Chandaar, until needed for a mission or called on.
All vessels would be added to the 9th Defensive Fleet
With all this, I'll note that, this will be the last vessel number request for a while for the Mandate. While its more than likely I'll be putting up requests for ship, tech, vehicle etc etc designs, I wont be requesting numbers for a couple months or so.

| Before I get to the meat of the request here, I have some concerns about the timing of this, and not just the frequency of these requests; namely, CMMI has been up and running for barely a month and a half but it's already replacing almost the entirety of the Cronese Mandate fleet with original designs in a very short amount of time (the first prototypes having been built exactly one month ago). I think as far as pacing goes it might be a good idea to slow this down a bit. There was a rule back in the day limiting factions to 1 request for 2 weeks. Sometimes a request is time sensitive so I'm not for a rule that's set in stone in that way, but the last ship request was approved 2 days ago and I think just a little more time is called for.
Doesn't mean I'm against the request. I just think it'd be good to take a breather.

| I understand.
I'll be requesting a reopen on this in a week or so.
Added (20 Jan 2012, 1:11 AM) --------------------------------------------- I'd like to reopen this request please, with just a quick tack on. For the Mandate Security Limited, I'd like to request an additional 250 Security Personnel (Currently at 500 Strong) and request a Battalion of Centurion Class Assault Tanks (54 Tanks total) for MSL to be added to their security forces, stationed mainly at the primary CMMI facilities that would need the extra defenses of the tanks. A handful would also be used in operations if the MSL is hired by sources in the Mandate, or outside of the Mandate.
Just needed to add a quick note. Of the 250 I'm asking to be added, 216 will be used to crew the 54 Tanks.
I'm also adding (for good measure and a just in case/covering my rear) a request to be added to the already approved Cronese Mandate OSS. The following would be added to the OSS.
Spectres
Spectres are agents entrusted with extraordinary authority by the Cronese Mandate Government, including the power of life and death over the inhabitants of the Mandate. They form an elite group selected from a number of different Mandate Military branches, and their primary responsibility is to preserve Cronese Mandate stability by whatever means necessary. Though they are generally considered as being above the law and have complete discretion as to the methods used to accomplish their mission, an individual's status as a Spectre can be revoked by the Cronese Mandate Government in a case of a gross misconduct. Spectres work either alone or in small groups according to nature of a particular task and to their personal preference. "Spectre" is a syllabic abbreviation of Special Tactics and Reconnaissance.
100 Spectre Agents
Special Tasks Group (STG)
The Special Tasks Group (STG) is an espionage organization, usually deployed by the Cronese Mandate Government. STG operators work in independent cells, performing dangerous missions such as counterterrorism, infiltration, reconnaissance, assassination, and sabotage. They are currently very active in the Cronese Mandate, and are often ordered to other Systems and Worlds near the Mandate, or further out depending on the situation.
500 STG Personnel (split into 125 cells with 4 men per cell.)

| The Mandate's current numbers, for management reference:
101st Mandate ("Attack"?) Fleet ■ 1 Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser ■ 2 EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigates ■ 2 Gozanti cruisers ■ 24 Z-95 Headhunters
9th Defensive Fleet ■ Keldabe-class Battleship Vigilance ■ Munificent-class Star Frigate Helena ■ 3 Marauder-class Corvettes ■ 12 Z-95 Headhunters ■ 8 Rihkxyrk Assault Fighters (42nd Defensive Wing, a division of the 9th Fleet) ■ 1 Seraph Cruiser Solitude ■ 2 Prowler Corvettes ■ 8 Herald Fighters
I APPROVE of all the designs, the trade-offs, and the special forces (Robeir has the power to enforce the law in his Mandate and if he thinks this requires a special forces unit that's "above the law," that's something he's able to do), but I vote to DENY the addition of 4 Sinderon-class frigates; my reasoning is that between the 9th and 101st fleets and the various defense platforms in Cronese space, the Mandate is close to impregnable as it is. So while I'm okay with swapping out current ships for other ships of similar firepower, I don't think I can approve of adding any more firepower to the Cronese fleets for the foreseeable future.

| I can agree with the Denying the 4 Sinderons due to their fire power.
I'd like to point out though, that the fleet page wasn't updated after the last Cronese request, so it should look like this.
101st Mandate ("Attack"?) Fleet ■ 1 Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser ■ 2 EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigates ■ 2 Gozanti cruisers ■ 24 Z-95 Headhunters
9th Defensive Fleet ■ Keldabe-class Battleship Vigilance ■ 2 Seraph Cruisers ■ 6 Prowler Corvettes ■ 16 Herald Fighters ■ 12 Z-95 Headhunters ■ 8 Rihkxyrk Assault Fighters
(42nd Defensive Wing, a division of the 9th Fleet) ■ 1 Seraph Cruiser Solitude ■ 2 Prowler Corvettes ■ 8 Herald Fighters

| Oh, okay. So I feel even more strongly on that point then. Btw, I forgot to say I also APPROVE of the new security personnel and tanks and the Siren bombers. Everything but the Sinderons, basically.
