| I request 168 Arrowhead-class Interceptors (below), and 1 Munificent-class Star Frigate for use as a comms ship during the war games in the Auril Sector and also for target practice (not a regular part of Brentaal's fleet, Brentaal would buy it second- or third-hand).
Make: Kuat Drive Yards, Industrial Automaton, Rothana Heavy Engineering Model: Arrowhead-class Drone Interceptor (Royalties: Incom Corporation, Government of Brentaal) Length: 2.1 meters Height/depth: 0.9 meters
Engines: Triple Ion Engines Maximum Acceleration: ≈ 5,200 g (120 MGLT) Maximum Speed (Atmosphere): ≈ 1,300 kph (≈ 13,000 kph w/optional deflector shield) Hyperdrive: None equipped
Shielding: None equipped Hull: Titanium frame, durasteel hull (15 RU) Armament: 2 Quad Light-Repeating Blaster Cannons
Crew: None (onboard Industrial Automaton Intellex 10 droid "brain")
Design History: Commissioned by the government of Brentaal, the Arrowhead-class Interceptor was designed by the Incom Corporation, loosely based on the Delta-series interceptors designed by the long-defunct Kuat Systems Engineering. Incom believed the design to be in the public domain, until Kuat Drive Yards sued Incom over its use of the Delta-series and acquired complete ownership of the Arrowhead design (though Incom retained some royalties).
The Arrowhead is as fast and even faster than its Delta-series predecessors, achieving acceleration in excess of 5,200 G's (without the weight of a pilot, life support systems, inertial dampners, and other accommodations). It also boasts one more engine than the Delta-series. It has a unique weapons system of two quad repeating blasters that, while weaker than most fighters, compensate for this with a firing rate of almost 1,000 shots per minute (though higher firing rates require power to be shifted from the engines). It can also be mounted with two proton torpedoes, though these don't come standard.
The Arrowhead-class is smarter than its droid starfighter predecessors, equipped with a specially-designed Intellex 10 computer based on the Intellex VI droid "brain" of R4-series droids, but programmed to be combat-capable. With its advanced suite of sensors and targeting software, it is deadly in a dogfight—especially in en masse.
