| Despite Da'shune and the majority of the command staff captured for some time, the remaining military forces would not have simply stood by idly. Knowing that the Empire had a very long reach, the Independent Hapan Nation would have fled to the Unknown Regions, settling in with either the natives on Umaren'k or forging out a livelihood on Durace. During the course of the travels, they would have crossed paths with the O'reen and, despite several clashes, eventually both sides would come to a mutual trade and respect, allowing the Hapans to have an outlet, as well as an ally of sorts.
I would also like, if possible, for them to have had a few 'joiners' in the forms of small bands of Nagai and Faruun refugees.

| We might ask you to change the location so as not to crowd another RPer who's operating in that same area. But let us confer on it first.

| We've yet to confer. But I'll make a point of pulling aside Jaron and Karth if I can get them both online tonight. Thanks for waiting.

| I'm personally fine with the Unknown Regions, I've had a bit of a love for the area the entire time I've done Star Wars RP. However, you're wanting to go into an area that has been portrayed throughout multiple sources as being difficult to enter, and want us to do so on a whim, with no seeming RP or work for it. You also want to go into an area that already has another RPer in it, but one who has worked for their presence there and has had to focus most of their RP to do so. With some RP, and a different location, I might be more inclined to approve of this. Jace is also of similar sentiment. Not sure yet where Karth stands... not much of a conference.

| Karth was absent from the conference... and our hearts. But yes, Jaron speaks for me on this.

| I never knew I meant that much to you guys...
It might shock you to discover that I agree with my comrades on this, since we are a hivemind... most of the time.

| Gentlemen, if I may point out a few things:
A large lack of my play has come from the fact that I did indeed wait several months to avoid autoing my escape so as to remain more to the spirit of play this site enjoys. It seems the drawback of this has meant instead that I have fallen far behind the times in the play, so to speak. While there is a marked lack of play on my side, it would be unreasonable to assume the IHN fleet sat idly by while Da'shune was imprisoned and after their escape from Parein II.
Secondly, it is true that the Unknown Regions does have another player in it; albeit one who has been able to move more freely. When it comes to independent factions (Separatists, pirates, the IHN, etc.) I have seen management encourage them to band together rather than utilize constant requests for vessels, et al.
In the case of settling on Durace, the the planet has no real value for anyone and as such, has no reason to be anything but unclaimed. If anything, the questionable item I see would be the issue with the O'reen, who seem to be very closed off to outsiders. Nonetheless, I'd be willing to play out gaining allies of the O'reen (or at least mutual trade partners).

| That's understandable. The reluctance we have though is that Umaren'k is in the same neighborhood as Carrivar, and Rall has taken the time to explore the area and find the planet and set up there, whereas Kso, for whatever the reason, hasn't yet done this. We don't find it fair, under the circumstances, for Kso to essentially set up shop in the same neighborhood as Carrivar, but additionally with an army of natives at his disposal. As far as I know, though, none of us have a problem with Durace.

| I want to say yes, but the Manager in me says... ask a question, to my Management brethren. Are we cool with allowing some of the Killik stuff into the RP? Jace, Karth and I can both atest that the Killiks do in fact pop up far earlier than the post-Vong War era of the timeline.

| I'm not too fond of the Killiks, tbh (though, yes, they are canon and have been appearing in greater frequency in SW media, something that baffles me). I'm not averse to perhaps there being a mention or two of them, not too keen on them actually being used in the RP in any shape or form.

| Or, am I completely misinterpreting the use of the phrase joiners, here?
