Well, not so much as just one space station, but a handful of variations cobbled together into a larger space station which would be the current home of the Zakhmurats. The station would be cobbled together and incorporating various different space station types into a larger "space city." To be located either at the edge of the Chopani Expanse (that big empty area of space) or in the Nijune Sector a few parsecs away from the border of the Kanz Sector.

Key

So the request would be

  • (3) Haven class Medical Stations
  • (6) Yavin Station styled space stations
  • (3) Golan Space Colony 2
  • (1) Starforge space station {again only in appearance, not functionality}
  • (2) Industrial Complexes
  • (3) Cargo Facility 2
  • (3) Demilitarized Core Ships
  • (1) Telgorn Shipyards

With many of these stations being unarmed, and the core ships being demilitarized in order to use them more of residence rooms, med centers, trading centers, cargo holds, botanical gardens, etc etc I would like to request the following items for armaments which would be mainly defensive.

The last addition to the request would be multiple maneuvering thrusters to keep the vessel out of shipping lanes and other hazardous debris.

This part is a bit of information, from calculations taken from each article and some quick numbers thrown up for each station.

  • Haven Medical - 80,000 Personnel; 40,000 Cargo (x3)
  • Demilitarized Core Ships - 263,060 Personnel; 66,000,000 Cargo (x3)
  • Starforge style stations - 50,000 Personnel; 25,000 Cargo (x1)
  • Industrial Complex - 1,143 Personnel (x2)
  • Golan Space Colony 2 - 7,687 Personnel (x3)
  • Cargo Facility 2 - 170 Personnel; 75,000 Cargo (x3)
  • Telgorn Shipyards - 6,650 Personnel (x1)
  • Total Personnel (1,111,687 Personnel)
  • Total Cargo (198,370,000 Tons)

Before I comment on these requests, have you presented any information about the Zakhmurats prior to this? I'm finding them to be rather difficult to locate information on. I get that they're an original faction, and I can get behind it, but it seems like this request is being tossed up here without any context behind it. If I'm mistaken, and you did post information on them somewhere, please correct me.

There hasn't been any real information on the Zakhmurats beyond the idea that has been forming from this request and the fleet request. I'll try my best to clear it up though and provide an orderly thought on the idea that I have floating in my head.

Essentially the idea formed for an "ethnic" human based group from the plant of Lorrd, which had caught my eye while I was looking for planets. Now while the writer who seems to have laid claim to Lorrd had problems with it being set up on the planet itself, I was directed by another member which helped form the idea as it is now. The Zakhmurats are basically this "ethnic" human culture that had been on Lorrd for time immorial. However during the Kanz Disorders, they would have been forced off of the planet, when it was invaded and conquered by their neighbors. This would have left the Zakhmurats homeless without anywhere to turn, as any world they'd go to seek shelter from would turn them away.

As a means for survival they would instead lash their ships together, and create their own home in space. Over the years they would repair, exchange, or outright replace failing and ailing ships and stations that form the station. The above station in the request would be the most recent compliation of stations and craft that the Zakhmurats could get their hands on at a cheap or fair price and lash them together to keep their people going. While hoping to one day return to their ancestral lands.

So they're Quarians, in spirit at least. I'll look over the stats in more detail tomorrow and get back to you.

More on this request tomorrow. We're working to get all requests closed up by Christmas.

(Please note I've merged the Zakhmurat fleet and space station request into one, above).

I've been thinking on this a bit and it seems that this request along with the original idea are a little outdated, since the conflict that this was set up for and around seems to have gone away. There really isn't a big need for this idea anymore. Or at least that's what I've been thinking about.

I kind of see them being more of a nomadic fleet now, more than having a stationary station, so to speak.

I think we can probably close this for now while I look at the Zakhmurats and figure out what direction I really want to go with them, if that's alright.

Yes, I think that's wise, in fact. Closed up for now.
