| Time has passed. The Lucian Alliance fleet had escaped the apparent task force made by New Republic Defense Forces specifically to hunt them down. Netan always have been appreciative of the ability to cover the tracks that the Lucian Alliance have employed so well. This is the particular reason why the New Republic are so frustrated at the failures of locating the pirates. Netan knows that making the Lucian Alliance mobile would prove very difficult for any of their enemies to track down. However, Netan also know that if the organization's going to continue to be mobile, they would need routine servicing of their warships to prevent the falling down. In order to do that, they'd have to dock into a shipyard. That is what's causing him a headache. Almost every shipyard in the galaxy are owned by the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant. The Lucian Alliance wouldn't be able to dock without getting caught. That is precisely the reason why he had decided to contact Njon the Hutt. He never was really a fan of the Hutts, not because of their appearance but because of their greed nature. This nature is why several Hutt clans are basically at war against each other. However, for the sake of survival, he had to do what a businessman would normally do. He had to make a deal with anyone that isn't a big fan of the New Republic or the Imperial Remnant. The Hutts are the only one powerful enough to keep their space a safe passageway. The Hutt Space is where a lot of things can happen where a lot won't in the Imperial or New Republic Space. The Injustice was the first one to drop out of hyperspace. The Fury and the Grievous dropped by a couple of moments later. This was probably the first time in a while for the Lucian Alliance to reach the Hutt Space. This could be a risky move, but it could be gained in the end. All Netan have to do is to make a deal with Njon Anjiliac so that the Lucian Alliance can be granted a safe passageway in the Hutt Space. Safe as in away from the New Republic. He was pretty sure the New Republic wouldn't dare getting into a confrontation with the Hutt Cartel. Netan would shook his head, as he would see the port over Sriluur in sight. "Open a channel to that port." The Supreme Commander ordered his communication officer. A holotransmitter would be activated, as a figure that would be identified as Netan himself would appear. "Greetings from the Lucian Alliance. I am Netan. I was granted permission to dock this port by Njon Anjiliac." Netan would stand by, waiting for a response from the docking authority. Meanwhile, Netan sent one of his men to bring Kaylie to the bridge. Netan wanted to make Kaylie feel welcomed in the Lucian Alliance, and what better to get her involved than to watch the negotiations between the Lucian Alliance and the Hutt Cartel?

| The Injustice would receive a message from the portmaster, a friendly Toydarian, informing him that they'd reserved berths for the Lucian Alliance's ships and that they were clear to approach. There would also be free brandy, the Toydarian explained, for Netan and his men, who were also free to visit Sriluur as they pleased. Say what one will about Njon the Hutt; he was certainly hospitable, even to his competitors (or, perhaps, especially to his competitors). The Injustice and the other vessels would be secured safely in place and Njon's mechanics began working on the ships right away. As Netan stepped off of his ship and into the port, he would be greeted personally by the Toydarian, who informed him that Njon had arranged to speak with the man in his lounge, to which he guided Netan (and Kaylie, if he wished to bring her with him). It was a small, simple, but comfortable room with a pair of couches, a table, a liquor display, and a large holoscreen on the wall which was currently showing a Rancor fight on Nar Kreeta. Njon wasn't inside—as a rule, he always kept his guests waiting rather than the other way around—but there were a pair of guards, a Weequay and a Trandoshan, who searched Netan as a precaution for any weapons or communications devices. These would be confiscated from him, temporarily. As he waited for Njon, he was free to enjoy the entertainment and pour a drink for himself if he so desired, or for Kaylie if she was with him. Some moments later, the Rancor fight on the holoscreen went blank and was quickly replaced by the smiling visage of Njon the Hutt. "Bo shuda, Netan," he said, his deep voice booming over the speakers in the lounge. Behind him, on the image, was a durasteel wall that appeared to belong to a starship of some sort; Netan might surmise that wherever the Hutt was, he was probably in space. "Welcome to Sriluur," he went on, "I'm sure you are eager to enjoy your stay, so let us proceed to business? I am told by our Toydarian friend that my people have begun work on your ships. I am not, how you say, a charitable being, as you know. So, what have you to offer me in exchange for my services?"

| Netan and his bodyguards would be greeted by a Toydarian. He never liked Toydarians also, they aren't warriors and certainly are greedy like the Hutts. The only differences between the Hutts and the Toydarians are that the flying species bow down to the fat slugs. Netan knew he had to suck it up and be a man, being guided by the Toydarian toward the lounge which apparently is Njon's. It seemed comfortable, though it was a small and simple room. It suited perfectly for a man like Netan. A lot of people that knows or knew Netan would have known that he likes simple and direct approach to everything. Netan also knew he was taking an awful risk coming in person to meet a Hutt crime lord. The crime lords are not to be trusted, especially Hutts. The Supreme Commander had decided to leave Kaylie on the warship should something happen to him, or should Kaylie attempt to escape which would embarrass the Lucian Alliance in front of the Hutt Cartel. Netan quickly spotted a large holoscreen showing a Rancor fight. While it could be entertaining for his men, Netan rarely watch Rancor fights because of his position in the Lucian Alliance that kept him busy all the time. Netan also submitted to a search by Njon's bodyguards. Instead of having his own bodyguards submit to the search, he would have them wait outside the room. It would leave Netan vulnerable, yes, but it's something he have to do in order to make a deal with the Hutt crime lord. Netan waved off the drinks as he wouldn't drink out of two reasons: Njon could be putting poison in the drinks for all he know and that he doesn't drink unless it's worth drinking. All of sudden, the holoscreen of the Rancor fight disappeared after moments of waiting. Netan would get the feeling that Njon was going to show up. Only that the Hutt didn't show up in person, he showed up on the hologram. "Typical Hutt." Netan thought to himself. "I like that, Njon. Direct to business. First, let me tell you that the Lucian Alliance have absolutely no interests in competing with the Hutt Cartel. The spice deals was merely something we wanted to try and ended with disastrous results. We needed profits so that we can have the resources to combat the New Republic. As you may be aware, the Lucian Alliance's fight is with the New Republic. The Ithorian Peace attack and the Battle of Endor. I think I have something that would interest you. The Lucian Alliance has an assignment that's in process of completing. I intend to commit an act of terrorism by blowing up a government building on Dantooine." He would pause for a moment and grinned evilly before speaking once again, "I know you and other crime lords in the Hutt Cartel do not get along with Jamie the Hutt. The Lucian Alliance would be gladly remove him from the competition in exchange for your services. As a bonus, I will see to it that once he is eleminated, all his assets will be transferred to you. Do we have an agreement?"

| "Hmm," the Hutt considered the proposal, his large, bulbous eyes narrowing as he did so. Ponc Gavrisom would never commit the New Republic to a long, costly war with the Hutt Cartel, but nonetheless, Njon didn't want to risk it. True, the Hutts incurred upon Republic worlds occasionally, but only to make an honest profit. Well, a profit anyway. But terrorism was something else entirely. It just wasn't profitable. Moreover, although Njon's stomachs still turned at the thought of Jamulon Tiure, a part of him was beginning to reconsider whether his old competitor might be of more use to the Cartel alive than dead. It never hurt to have a New Republic Senator on their side. Another one, that is. But of course, this depended on whether Jamulon would cooperate, and in that regard a little pressure might indeed be useful. As long as it didn't backfire on Njon. The Hutt had seen a lot of impulsive, human ideologues like Netan and he was never comfortable doing business with them. Humans, Njon thought with scorn. Their adrenal glands were too large and their prefontal lobes too small. They lived for mere decades, but thought so highly of themselves. They were all the same, only some were sufferable and some weren't. He hadn't decided about Netan. "Yes, we have an agreement," Njon said, a moment later, "With one more condition—your Strike Cruiser, the Injustice, belongs to me until you've finished your errands for us. I trust that this is agreeable? As we speak, our Toydarian friend has the vessel locked down in the port. Your crew, who I suspect is rather drunk on my free rum and brandy, have been told the locations of the finest prostitution and gambling establishments on Sriluur—the Injustice, I'm told, is quite empty now except for my men. The other ships are still yours, of course, and you'll have the Strike Cruiser returned to you when your work is completed to my satisfaction." Another image appeared on the screen beside Njon, this one showing the Toydarian that Netan had met a moment ago. His demeanor was nowhere near as friendly as he had been before. "Mr. Anjiliac," he reported, "our maintenance people have powered down the reactor on the Injustice, disconnected its drive motivator, and the—" The Hutt's brow furrowed. It was apparent that he was displeased, and it was apparent why. "—oh, uh, what I mean to say," the Toydarian went on, "is that the ship isn't going anywhere." Njon's displeasure vanished. "Good," he said. "Also," the Toydarian added, "there's a girl here who isn't talking to us. But one of Netan's men told us she's a prisoner they picked up a few worlds back." "Is that so?" Njon said mischieviously, his gaze drifting back to Netan. "Here I have been so rude, when all this time you had a gift for me! You're too kind, Netan. Bring her to the lounge," he told the Toydarian, "I wish to see her." The Toydarian nodded and vanished from the screen, leaving Njon and Netan alone once more.

| Kaylie had declined to join Netan for the meeting, mainly because meeting with a slug held absolutely no appeal to her. Instead, she continued to work on the x-wing that was docked in the hangar bay, rigging it as Netan had asked. It wasn't right, and she knew that, but she also felt that she had no choice but do what she asked. It wasn't that she was worried about her safety, but the safety of her daughter Skye. She looked up from what she was doing when some men (lets use that term loosely) entered the hangar bay. Her gaze darted to them first, then to the guards that Netan himself had assigned to her. She wasn't sure if they were there for her protection, or to protect others from her, or to keep her from running. It could have been all three. One of the Lucian guards approached her. "Apparently, the Hutt wants to see you, Ms. Winters." There was a touch of humor in his voice, almost as if the fact was amusing him. "He seems to think that the boss is giving you to him as a slave. We tend to like that idea." Kaylie frowned deeply for a moment. The thought that Netan would actually do that did cross her mind. He would. Without a second thought. That fact didn't sit right with her though, especially after the last conversation they had with each other. Kaylie glanced to the guard for a moment, then to the Toydarian that fluttered amidst the Hutt's men. "You know, I think I will decline for now. Very busy, you know." She turned her attention back to the ship and reached into the cockpit as if she was doing something, though she was really looking for something that she could defend herself with. Almost immediately the Lucian guard grabbed her around the waist and dragged her down and away from the xwing. She wasn't the type to just give up without a fight and when the other guard approached, she pushed back against the one holding her and kicked the other square in the stomach. "I said...NO!" She yelled before the one holding her threw her to the ground for a moment so he could get a better grip. Kaylie rolled out of his way and sprung to her feet before she would start to run, only to be cut off by someone else and grabbed onto. She struggled and yelled and fought the entire time she was being dragged through the ship to meet Njon.

| The Supreme Commander of the Lucian Alliance would clasp his hands together behind the back, as if he was standing like an Admiral or a General. That would have been his rank if he was running a paramilitary division. No matter, this is the Lucian Alliance and he have dubbed himself as the Supreme Commander to make himself proud and make him be respected among the pirates within the organization. The fat slug had the nerves to tell Netan that he would keep the flagship Injustice docked. After all, the Hutts are greedy and there's nothing to do about that. Netan also figured that the Hutt is doing this so that Netan would have to hold up his side of bargain, but at the same time, he could just be killing Jamie the Hutt and then Njon just keep holding the warship and kept Netan to do his bidding. The Lucian Alliance had already made its decision. "Mr. Anjiliac," the Supreme Commander said with a tone that seems respectful, "I accept your...demand on keeping the Injustice at bay for the time being." Netan knew he had no choice but to agree to this, if he didn't comply, it would seem like the Lucian Alliance was simply using the Hutts' docking bays for free. That's not the way the pirates do business with powerful crime lords, especially the fat slugs. He would not relax until he himself would get out of the room and get on either the Fury or the Grievous. The moment came when Netan would be even more tense, and he was certain that Njon's guards inside the room would be aware of it. Perhaps Njon would be as well if he could pick up body language through the holotransmitter. He heard the Toydarian's voice, mentioning Kaylie. The next moment, Njon the fat slug would imply that Kaylie was a gift for the Hutt. Netan would clear throat before speaking, "There were a reason she was a prisoner and not a GIFT to you, Mr. Anjiliac. You see, there are two things that's critical for the mission to assassinate Jamie the Hutt. One's the x-wing sitting inside the hangar bay of the Injustice, and another is the lady your Toydarian just retrieved. If both is not part of the mission, then the Lucian Alliance won't be able to ignite the mission and assassinate the Senator from Dantooine. That would make me seem like I'm breaking our deal, and you won't be able to get rid of Jamulon Tiiure. That won't look good for both the Hutt Cartel and the Lucian Alliance, would it?" "Or I could simply purchase the girl, and then you could use the money to spend on a beautiful woman to do entertainment for you. Either way, the mission won't be completed without her." It was indeed true that the Lucian Alliance would have extremely difficult time in completing the assassination if Kaylie isn't being brought back. In addition to that, she's probably the only mechanic in the whole Lucian Alliance fleet.

| the bounty hunters who had been recruited by the ebon fist had finally paid off when they reported netan and the lucian alliance's arrval at the hutt station. netan's reason for being there was unclear, but what was clear was that they would be stationary for a bit. towards the outer edges of the system, the bulk cruiser fat boy, followed by the dp20 skylance and escorted by twelve t-wing fighters, the landing craft nevermore and a mynock-class assault boat, emerged into realspace. lim hejin, relaxing on the gunship, triggered his comm system to talk to the station. | The Hutt lost his typical calm, and in dramatic fashion; his brow furrowed, his eyes bulged furiously, and he clenched his fist so tightly on his hookah pipe that it snapped in half. "JUST SHOOT HIM!" he rumbled, "Human fools, always with a 'plan.' Did you know that I had a Jedi working for me? Bruder, his name was. I told him to shoot Jamulon. Shoot. Him. But no, he had 'plan,' and his 'plan' failed. Do you know what happened to him, Netan? His droid served him to me on a platter, and now he's fertilizing my crops on Nimban. I've hired three bounty hunters to shoot Jamulon, Netan. Three bounty hunters. I'm tired of failure, and I'm tired of plans and schemes. It doesn't take an X-wing or a slave girl, or an army, or months of training, or some genius 'plan' to raise a blaster and pull the trigger. To shoot him. Shoot him. SHOOT. HIM." He took a long, deep breath. His doctor had told him that he had high blood pressure and mustn't exacerbate his condition. He realized, also, that he wasn't truly mad at Netan but, rather, at the miserable failures to touch Jamulon Tiure. It was the simplest task that Njon could imagine, but Bruder didn't get it done. Kyrum didn't get it done. Sledge didn't get it done. He didn't even remember the others. But no, he was not upset with Netan. His goal had never even been to kill Jamulon, but rather to intimidate him. The fact remained that Njon's rant, volcanic though it was, was also correct; there were many ways that Netan could intimidate Jamulon Tiure. Njon was about to make this point to Netan when the door to the lounge slid open with a hiss and the girl was deposited inside, fighting all the way. Even on the holographic transmission, Njon could see that she was beautiful. For her species, anyway. And fiesty. The Hutt's anger seemed to vanish from his face as he looked her up and down, and formed the beginnings of a broad, despicable smile. His cool, almost charming demeanor was back. "Very fine," he mused. "Where did you find her, Netan my friend?" he asked, then found himself glancing once again at Netan and was reminded of the business at hand. "And I demand to know what possible use is she to your plan to intimidate Jamulon? I will be most reluctant to part with her, you understand." Their conversation went on uninterrupted, since it was highly, highly, highly unlikely that the Ebon Fist would happen to be "on the edge of the system" when the Lucian Alliance arrived at Sriluur, for three reasons; 1.) they had no reason to expect Netan to arrive at Sriluur versus any one of thousands of other ports throughout the galaxy, 2.) even if they were convinced that their spies at Sriluur would be successful, they would have had to sit on the edge of the system for weeks, and weeks, and weeks on end waiting for the Lucian Alliance to arrive, and 3.) Njon had placed a very large number of his own ships at the edge of the system because he actually was expecting Netan in advance and anticipated that the Lucian Alliance might resist his seizure of the Injustice with force. Nevermind that the Ebon Fist would have been sighted as it drew anywhere near Hutt Space—it certainly would have been sighted in this particular system. The Ebon Fist were welcome to follow up on their lead, of course. But it was too fantastic to believe that they just happened to be nearby when this lead, one of potentially hundreds, turned out to be the correct one. It was reasonable to assume that it would be some time, therefore, until the Ebon Fist arrived. However, they would be very poorly advised to do so uninvited; the shipyard at Sriluur and its accompanying Golan platform would open up on any fleet that appeared unexpected or uninvited, whether it be pirate, mercenary, or even New Republic or Imperial. As Drasek Cale knew, and so too, surely, did the pirates in his employ, Nar Shaddaa was the place to approach the Hutts with business propositions. Not Sriluur. There were endless tales of the miseries that Njon the Hutt inflicted on those who did not respect the Cartel or its borders. Enough to make Bryce Routhe, or the Ebon Fist, or its members stranded on Lehon shudder and studder in fear far more so than Atropos. If any man ordered them to trifle with the Cartel, they would undoubtedly think twice before doing so.

| so, having backtracked a bit, lim hejin checked out the data sent to his officers by the bounty hunters at sriluur that had been placed as spies. the fist's forces were not fully gathered, what with a scrounging mission happening at lehon at the moment. it would be some time before their full force could be brought to bear, but it wasn't quite necessary if all could be organized. hejin had worked for the cartel in previous times, back when he was a small-time smuggler and raider, not a legitimate businessman like he was now. nonetheless, one didn't trespass in hutt space without a very large fleet. firing up his comm system, he sent a message to njon. "njon, you old rogue! it's been a while since i've had the pleasure of your company. i was wondering if i could swing a vessel or two by your place at sriluur for refueling. i'd be more than happy to pay the usual going rate."

| Netan's face expression would turn from a calm, stable state to an angry face. "Human fools?! Plans were there for a reason!" After a moment, he realized he could very well anger a fat slug and forfeit the lives of his men. The Supreme Commander would calm himself down, letting out a light sigh. "I apologize for my outburst. I'm such a hothead. People keeps telling me to calm down. But of course, I usually end up killing them with my own pistol." Netan would chuckle lightly, grinning evilly. "And Kaylie isn't a slave girl. You would very well do remember that." The pirate would look at Njon's guards inside the room, and then back to the holographic screen of both Njon and Kaylie. "I didn't found her. I captured her by pulling a refugee ship out of hyperspace that she was on. Of course, I killed everybody else aboard the ship because I was there to retrieve her. Something about a treasure hunt." Netan would clear his throat before speaking with Njon the fat slug. "Well, she's not the one to intimidate Jamulon. But she's a very important part of the plan. She's the only one in the Lucian Alliance that knows how to program self-destruct inside the x-wing. She also knows how to program the computer to screen voices. The x-wing is being used to fly to Dantooine and blow up wherever the Hutt is located. You could say that she's the one responsible for the...termination of that Hutt Senator." The Lucian Alliance knew this mission hangs in balance for getting their flagship back. Netan thought about contacting Captain Holt on helping assassinate Jamulon, but that's something to be discussed later. "If you're asking me to intimidate Jamulon, this would be a very effective tool. If you're asking me to assassinate that guy, then it's still gonna be effective either way. And either way, I need Kaylie. I will even throw in a large sum for her if you want." The negotiation, though it could be short, seems to begin for Kaylie. Netan had hoped to get her back. For the mission, and for her sake. A lot of people didn't know this, but Netan treats women as a gentleman. He knew the fat slugs would just treat her as slaves.

| Kaylie stumbled as the guards pushed her into the room, though she quickly righted herself. After she had taken a moment to calm herself down, her gaze fell on the Hutt and she felt like she was going to gag on her own tongue. She turned her gaze to Netan on the holo for a moment and frowned. "Damn right Kaylie is not a slave....and she's wasting valuable time being here so how about I just take Kaylie back to the....." She started towards the door, but was quickly stopped. The girl listened to Netan and the Hutt's negotiations and she narrowed her eyes when Netan offered to pay for her. Oh yeah, that made her seem LESS like a slave. "Right, so if you want the dude to be blow to itty bitty gooey bits....you had better rethink the chains and brass bikini I can tell you're picturing me in right now." she informed Njon. "Besides, brass does nothing for my complexion. So if you wouldn't mind having your goons unhand me....." She waited for his response.

| "A brass bikini?" the Hutt said in protest, "What do you take me for? I'm not as crude or monstrous as Jabba, my predecessor. I refer, of course, to his fashion sense. So no, no, no. No brass bikini. Silver would be far more becoming," he corrected her, though the distinction would not be of much comfort to her. His laughter boomed over the speakers in the small lounge. A moment later, he glanced at Netan with a typical, mischievious grin on his massive face. "Netan, my friend," he said to him, "I suggest a compromise; your ships will be here for the night to be fueled and supplied, and you are welcome to enjoy the finest entertainment that Sriluur has to offer, at my expense. In exchange, I will enjoy the company of Kaylie for the night. I will have no need for her in the morning, and you may have her back. No payment is necessary." He glanced between the two of them for a moment, seeming to enjoy the tense silence in the room. "A reasonable compromise, no?" he asked Netan. Meanwhile, the transmission from Lim Hejin was recieved, but Njon's aides knew better than to interrupt him in his mischievious moments. Hejin would be asked, politely, to hold for a moment until the Hutt was available. Njon had indeed wished to speak with Hejin for some time now, and his conversation with Netan was nearing its end.

| Netan would cross his arms, staring back at Njon. "You have a lot of...uh...I would have said balls, but I'm not sure if your species have it. I'm just gonna say guts instead." The pirate scoffed, before proceeding to speak once again with the fat slug. "You have guts offering me that kind of deal. However, once again I'm not completely unreasonable. This deal is as important to me as it is to you. You can have Kaylie for the night, provided that you agree to my demands made on keeping Kaylie for the night." Netan allowed a breath to escape his mouth, while he was trying to make Kaylie staying with Njon as comfortable as possible. "Your men and yourself are not to try anything that would violate Kaylie herself. She has to be given a comfortable quarters. She has to be treated with respect. She also has to be alive and well by the time you bring her back to me. Just remember, I need her for the mission. If your men tries anything funny, I would view this as you breaking this deal. When that happens, your men must be punished or my people will have the pleasure of punishing them. Do we have a deal, Mr. Anjiliac?"

| Kaylie stared blankly at the Hutt, then shook her head in absolute disgust. "Gross. Never." she refused, but her refusal was cut short when Netan spoke. As she listened to him, her expression darkened. "You son of a....." she started. "You're just going to give me to him!?!" Yes, she was upset, but her expression softened when Netan made his demands. she too waited for Njon's response.
