| I am taking my annual holiday to go on a poetry reading tour of Naboo and spend time working on an anthology of poetry about the events of the last year. I will return to my office in second half of the next week. My son and deputy-senator Eli Kruus will manage my affairs in my absence. While I am contactable on emergency matters, I would appreciate taking up matters with my son unless matters truly require my steady hand.

| Naboo will, of course, be pleased to welcome and accomodate the Poet Laureate of the New Republic on his tour of our world which, as Senator Kruus must know, is proud to be home to many renowned and accomplished poets not unlike himself.
