The Mandalorian bounty hun...no, the Mandalorian warrior has decided a long time ago that he wasn't going to let an opportunity to pass by. Anubis was going to gain honor and glory no matter what. In addition to that, he wanted revenge for what the Imperials had done to his people and more importantly, killed his parents. The warrior promised himself that he would have to face wrath of the Imperial army alone if he have to, and he will take down as many as he can. In order for the kill rate to go very high, he knew he needed to do a few things. The easiest part is to go to the black market and purchase heavy weaponry. That is the way of the Mandalorians, to fight with heavy machinery and weaponry. However, in his travels to gather weapons and explosives, he had heard tales of how a Force user, not necessarily a Jedi, had helped participate in a battle where this Sith Lord by the name of Darth Novak had vanquished by the New Republic Defense Forces around 11 ABY. That's quite a while ago, and Anubis figured it's probably a long shot since he hasn't really been heard of ever since. The warrior was willing to give it a shot and go look for him.

He had been trying to gain information through the bounty hunter network and his typical contacts stationed on several worlds on the whereabouts of this Kenas. Anubis also had knowledge of how the Jedi and the Sith operates because he had a tendency to study history as to be able to combat them should it be necessary. The knowledge of history and his contacts had been helpless so far. He had been to a couple of worlds where he thinks a Force user might hide out, and had strike out twice. The contacts hadn't been able to report any hints of the Force user. This was to be expected to the Mandalorian warrior. He knew it was a long shot, but also could help up the kill rate greatly if he was to work with someone in the Force. The Jedi are pacifists, and they won't launch a preemptive strike. The Sith are the enemy, and he very well couldn't make contact with them even if he wanted to. Their fire had seemingly gone out of this universe. The warrior had also went to the great lengths of not making a lot of people known of his current agenda, he wanted the element of surprise to be on his side.

Anubis was inside his gold Mandalorian armor, along with a Z-6 jetpack. He had decided to leave every weapons aboard the Gayiyli, the heavily modified Firespray-31-class Patrol and Attack ship, except a couple of DC-17 hand blasters attached to the holsters on each side of his body and a DXR6 heavy carbine. He had always been prepared, because of an encounter with this infamous smuggler by the name of Aaron Rawls twice. The warrior was inside the infamous cantina on Mos Eisley, the infamous city of Tatooine. The Mandalorian wasn't there to have a drink or eat something raw. He was sitting in the dark corner of the cantina, although his gold armor would shine the corner a bit. Anubis was taking a break from searching for this Force user, and waited for a lining of black market sellers to come to him and sell stuffs. Everybody in the cantina was made known that Anubis was a Mandalorian warrior eager to buy heavy weaponry. A Rodian would approach, sitting down across the table from him, began negotiating with him on the price of explosives. This dealer was the first catch of the day. Only if it were this easy on finding someone with the Force powers as his ally.

Kenas approached the cantina's main entrance. As he drew closer, he began have a bad feelings about finding this Mandalorian. Typically, people sought out the mercenaries. When they were looking for you, that was a different matte. When he does listen to whispers and rumors, it isn't often he hears the name Kenas Annig. When he first heard about the strange business, he immediately assumed someone placed a bounty on his head. This couldn't be the case since he hadn't done anything to anyone important and desperate enough to call upon a bounty hunter. Kenas was content with remaining undiscovered until he learned the Mandalorian had come to Tatooine and Mos Eisley's cantina itself. What strange coincidence since Kenas had been stranded here for several weeks now. Perhaps this wasn't the case, maybe this hunter was just that good at tracking down prey.

Curiosity propelled him forward. Maybe there was still a contract on his head, in which case he would deal with it now before it became anything serious. Maybe the Mandalorian needed help. In either case, Kenas realized that he was looking for trouble.

He paused after entering the cantina, standing in the short hallway before the main room. He wiped his moist forehead and stood beneath the ceiling fan. It wasn't much cooler inside and it seemed only a cold drink would satisfy. Maybe later or not at all. He entered the main room, which was heavily crowded and loud enough to require shouting for clear communication. He surveyed the room, checking faces. Some looked at him, others were lost in conversation. It didn't take him more than a moment to notice the gold armored Mandalorian sitting at a table with a rodian.

Kenas wore a lightsaber tucked away inside his gray coat and a S-5 blaster pistol holstered on his hip. He was certain he looked the part of a typical spacer, though he didn't have a starship with him. He approached the table till he was within speaking distance. From what he could overhear, they were talking about a business deal. He came up quickly and silently enough to surprise the rodian, whose back was facing him. The Mandalorian would see him standing there, quite clearly.

The Mandalorian would be the one to open the negotiations with the Rodian explosive dealer, "The only things I'm going to be interested in buying from you, Rodian, are C-22 fragmentation grenades, V-1 thermal detonators, and a PLX-1 portable missile launcher. If you do have those, then name your prices. If you don't, walk away before I shoot you in the head." Anubis had a way of making sure that things had to be done his way for a few reasons. He would get exactly what he want and finding reliable contacts were a couple from a list of reasons. The warrior's left hand had grabbed a DC-17 hand blaster from the left holster and immediately pointed it toward the head of the Rodian. The alien would swallow his breath a bit and showed an expression of displeasure and Anubis could have seen that through his helmet. However, the explosive dealer knew that he isn't a warrior like Anubis is and the Mandalorians are not to be trifled with.

The dealer spoke in Huttese, but in native accent, "I apologize for wasting your time but I do not have those explosives you speak of. I will leave you alone." That was about the same time a man approached behind the Rodian and Anubis had already spotted him, but didn't seem to mind him as he was focused on the dealer at the moment. The Rodian got up off the chair and turned around, startling a bit when someone else was in front of him. It's very likely that the alien didn't expect such encounter. The Mandalorian figured that this dealer must have not gained enough experience to be able to retrieve what he wanted to have.

The warrior transferred his attention from the explosive dealer to the man that seems to come for him. By the looks of it, this man may be nothing more than a spacer. However, he wasn't going to let himself be deceived due to what happened between him and Aaron Rawls. He kept the blaster in his hand, pointing toward the spacer. "You don't look like someone that's in business for my kind. I have to assume you are here for another reason."

His eyes moved from the blaster to the center of the T-visor. He waited until the rodian had moved around him completely before he did anything.

"You are searching for Kenas Annig. What do you want?" he asked.

Two things could happen next, either Anubis would become hostile and everything would happen rather quickly or Anubis would put the weapon away. As Kenas stood there looking into the wrong end of a barrel, he was ready to move into action. Nevertheless, he had a feeling it wouldn't end up like that. That notion kept his curiosity perked.

Anubis would stare through the T-visor and into the man's eyes. This man must have some information on a Force user he was seeking for, which means he wouldn't go killing the spacer just yet. The warrior would slowly lower his blaster, but didn't put it into the holster just yet. Anubis had his blaster being held by his left hand, laying on his armored legs. He had the blaster pointed and ready under the table. "I am seeking for his assistance. You must have some information on him, or else you wouldn't be standing right here in front of me."

The truth is, not many people know what this Force user looks like. It would seem natural for Anubis not to recognize Kenas unless he was given a picture or that he was told by the Force user himself. He was a man on a mission, and he wasn't going to let anyone get in his way of getting his revenge upon the Imperials. Anubis figured that if Mos Eisley Cantina is good enough to find explosive dealers, then it might also be good enough to acquire information on Kenas Annig.

He took a deep breath. He felt himself gripped by the fear of his doubts. It was too late. He had already committed himself to this course and would trust in the Force.

The noise in the cantina was deafening. As he was about to begin speaking, he noticed the same sensation of danger. He cocked his head slightly, glancing down to the table and then back to where Anubis's eyes would be.

"I am Kenas Annig. It all right if I sit down?" he asked, gesturing to the empty seat.

The Mandalorian would keep his pistol under the table, he cannot take any chances. "Yes, you may. But know this, I am trained to resist mind tricks. If you attempts to use your Force powers on my mind, I will not hesitate to shoot." He would feel the uneasiness within the Cantina. Many feared the Mandalorians, and they were right to be afraid. Anubis would waste no time, Mandalorians are not known to beat around the bush. "The Imperials are bullying around a lot of innocents on their worlds, and nobody's doing anything about it. I want you to help me fend them off."

"I understand," he said in response to the warning. He sat down in the chair opposite Anubis. He listened to him carefully. Kenas held certain prejudices against bounty hunters and mercenaries who often played the role of executioners. He would admit to no one that he distrusted the Mandalorian race at large, though they weren't all cold blooded killers.

"So you're a do gooder, then. That right?" he asked. He was certain the Mandalorian had other motives involved. If it wasn't money then perhaps the thrill of it all. "What sort of places do you mean?"

The Mandalorian would chuckle at Kenas' comments, "If you're saying I'm like those Jedi do-gooders, you're dead wrong." Anubis would clear his throat before speaking once again, "I would be lying to you if I said I'm not seeking honor and glory. That is the ways of the Mandalorians. We seek honor and glory through battles."

Anubis wasn't about to tell Kenas that his primary motivation is revenge.

"Where would we be going exactly?" he asked. There are many worlds being persecuted and oppressed by the Imperials. So long as they were in Imperial or neutral space, there was no call for concern. Everyone else was satisifed to keep the war over. This post-war galaxy was far from perfect.

Since this seemed to be a freelance job, Kenas wouldn't bother asking about any sort of payment. Financially, he was having a bit of a rough season. Which meant he couldn't afford fuel for his starship, munitions, and even basic hardware.

This line of thinking caused him to visibly sigh.

Anubis would stare into Kenas' eyes for a moment there, studying the Force user. "I may be crazy, but I was thinking Bastion. If we can show that a Mandalorian and a Force user could cause serious damage there, it would boost morale of the Republic troopers into thinking they can take this world. It would even boost my people, which no doubtedly would want to ride to war with the Imperials." The warrior had realized that he may have let on little bit too much, and decided to go silent for the moment and allowed Kenas to speak. "Are you in?" He spoke with a mischievous tone. Anubis had longed for revenge, and he will do it alone if he have to.

Major Roth's eyes widened at the mention of Bastion, one of the few words he was able to hear from the Mandalorian through the noise of the cantina. His drink hovered before him, contemplatively, for a moment before he proceeded to drink it down. He was still thinking, however, his eyes glancing about the room through the amber hue of his Cerulean ale until he finished it and placed the empty glass back on the table before him. He had a booth to himself, adjacent to the Mandalorian's and with his back to his (he had found it necessary to bribe the previous occupants of the booth to get them to vacate it, but no matter; the Empire had deep pockets, and he'd also bribed the band to shut up so he could hear).

Roth was glad that he'd followed up on this lead. He'd done it largely as a welcome change from the sniping politics of Imperial Space, which he found tiresome. Even the oppressive heat of Tatooine was more pleasant than having to listen to the frightened pleas and excuses from some Moff or Muun who had been confronted with the evidence of their schemes of patronage or fraud. But, as it happened, this lead was becoming quite interesting. There were plenty of renegade Mandalorians with a grudge against the Empire, but who'd have thought this one would lead Roth to a Force sensitive?

The name Kenas Annig had sounded vaguely familiar to Roth when he heard it said a moment ago. But he hadn't placed the man as a Force sensitive until the Mandalorian had gone on about his "mind tricks" and "Force powers." Most interesting indeed. Roth was curious to hear the man's response to the Mandalorian's proposal. The Major and Imperial Intelligence agent turned about to face the bar. "Can I get another drink here?" he shouted, and glanced, briefly, at Kenas Annig, before turning around once more. Yes, there was something familiar about him. He'd probably seen the man's image in an intelligence report, although this Kenas Annig was rather older.

Roth made an effort to clear his mind to make it more difficult to read, as he'd been taught in SERE. And he listened, with one finger tapping idly on the rim of his empty glass.

"I see," he said. "You want to inspire your people and, more importantly, restart the war. That's where I'm not so sure we see eye to eye, Mandalorian." Kenas leaned back in his chair, completely aware that he still had a blaster pointed at him under the table. Nevertheless, he was quite convinced that a terrorist action on the Imperial capitol wouldn't solve much of the galaxy's problems. Quite the opposite.

"The Remnant is still doing enough evil to warrant action. There is still subjugation and there are plenty systems in need of help. Committing cold blooded murder won't help these people. And even after all that, the New Republic will never commit to war," he said.

There were many people who felt the New Republic was wrong to stop short of eradicating the Galactic Empire. The war had ended only a short time ago and some were ready to finish the job. Kenas liked to think he and his comrades fought and died for peace. Since the Imperial Remnant is a recognized sovereign state, systems in their territories will remain oppressed. It was considerably worse for those under the rule of rogue Imperial warlords though.

It wasn't a perfect peace. Yet he couldn't see how more war would improve things. Kenas sensed great anger in Anubis and could only imagine his motivations for such a vendetta. Unlike Anubis, Kenas wasn't out for blood.

The Mandalorian would look at Kenas through the T-visor, and decided that it wasn't necessary to keep pointing the gun at the Force user. He would spin the blaster within his hand, and then placed it back to the empty holster. Anubis immediately crossed his arms, indicating that he has no interest in threatening or confronting this Force user at all. "What if I were to establish an anti-Imperial resistance? Would you be willing to fight alongside me? This is an opportunity for you to earn honor and glory, and more importantly, rescue the innocents from the Imperials. I am not going to deny that one of my motivations is revenge, but I will not allow my personal vendetta get in the way of fighting a war. I will be able to earn honor and glory by engaging in a full-scale combat against the whites."

He would wait for Kenas to respond, hoping that the man would join him in his quest to eradicate the Imperials for once and for all. If the Mandalorians were to finish the Imperials off, then people would gain a lot of respect for them and criticize the New Republic further for signing the peace treaty.

The Major would simply listen, for now. The conversation was too interesting to interrupt.
