A long hyperspace trip...and conversation

| Jaden would leave the ship's controls to R2-D9, they were in hyperspace and it was going to be a very long trip. He had also instructed the astromech to have the YT-1300 drop out of hyperspace once it's approaching the coordinates of the designation. The Jedi Knight knew he was going on a dangerous mission, and this is the kind of mission the Council would never approve of. He was pretty sure the Council would believe Jaden's not ready for this sort of thing, and they probably had good reasons for that. Still, this is something he must go and investigate himself. An informat had tipped him off that there was once a recent presence of a dark jedi faction settling on Krayiss Two. The informat had also warned him that it could be a long shot in finding evidences of dark jedi lurking around in the galaxy, but this is something that Jaden cannot ignore. He knew he was probably crazy for going there. However, he wasn't completely relentless. Jaden had left a message to a good friend of his, Jace Varitek. That Jedi was someone he could entrust with this sort of thing. After all, Jace is very capable of taking on multiple dark jedi, or so Jaden believes. The Jedi Knight would just get out of the cockpit, and headed for the main room. That was where his love interest and NRI Agent Mira Naeva was in. Mira was there with Jaden when the informat tipped him off, and he wasn't sure how dangerous it could be. "Well, it's going to be one long trip. We're going to be crossing the galaxy to get to Krayiss Two." Jaden spoke in a nervous tone, the Jedi was tense. He knew it was a stupid move, but he couldn't help his curiosity. He wanted to be the one to find the evidences of dark jedi.

| Mira found herself lounging in the main room on a rather comfortable sofa as she read a holobook. It was some sort of smut, not educational at all, but Mira enjoyed the break from reality. As Jaden walked in, she looked over the book and lowered it to rest on the sofa at her side. "How long?" She asked before she turned the holobook off. "And can you tell me, again, exactly what we are doing going all the way out here?" she asked. Mira had taken a little bit of a hiatus from the NRI, as she had racked up a considerable amount of personal time off throughout all of the missions that she had done in the recent years. Through all of that, this was the first time off that Mira had taken. And she was spending it on a wild goose chase with Jaden.

| Jaden would look at Mira in the eyes, "It's a pretty long trip. It would probably take a few days." The Jedi let out a light sigh, walking toward her and then sat down next to her. "Uh...this mission isn't exactly sanctioned and it can be very dangerous. I'm going there to find evidences on existence of a dark jedi faction." Lately, he hasn't been on good terms with the Council. He had to blow a session off to rescue Mira on Haruun Kal. He had hoped that he would be able to make up for it, and that was to search Krayiss Two.

| She curled her legs up beneath her to make room for Jaden to sit with her. Mira shifted so that she could lay her head on his shoulder. As she did, she drew her fingertips tenderly along the seam in the arm of his shirt and smoothed wrinkles in the fabric that weren't really there. "Well. It's not exactly a beach vacation with sun and fun, but, I might get to shoot someone, so what the heck!" Mira joked before she sat back up and pulled herself away from him a little.

| Jaden would chuckle at Mira's joke. "Well, that'd be nice. But you got to be smart around those dark jedi." He would put his arm around Mira, letting her head lay on his shoulder. The Jedi Knight would let out a sigh, liking the smell of her hair. He has always liked that. Then he had his hand rubbing her arm lightly, and placed his head on hers. It's probably not a good thing, but he's starting to see the signs where he began to choose Mira over the Jedi Order. The very same conflict that Anakin Skywalker went through before he transformed into Darth Vader. Jaden had hoped it wouldn't come down to that. For now, just being with Mira was enough.

| Mira removed herself entirely from the sofa, and away from Jaden. "Nothing that a good old fashioned slug thrower can't handle." She smiled back to him. It was, of course, a joke. she did like the weapon, but blasters were lighter and easier, not to mention slugs were sometimes hard to find in certain places. She tried not to worry at all, but in the back of her mind she was bothered about a few things. One of them was Jaden and his council issues, and then second was this trip, ending with a hunt for Dark Jedi. She was putting on a brave front for him.

| "Boy, you're trigger happy today, aren't you?" Jaden would look at Mira, getting off the sofa as well. "You look beautiful today. You've always look beautiful." He didn't add "ed" at the end because he didn't want to say that she stopped looking beautiful, because she wasn't stopping. He would put a hand on her cheek, moving in to kiss her on the lips for one long moment before pulling away. Mira sometimes forget that he was a Jedi Knight, he can sense emotions. He didn't take his hand away from her cheeks, staring into Mira's eyes. "Why are you worried?"

| She sighed and finally opened her eyes after he kissed her. "Worried? No, I'm not worr......" Mira paused a moment and frowned. She was, and she had forgotten that he would be able to sense her worry. "Just your unofficial mission. I would like you to stay alive if it wouldn't be to terrible much trouble. I mean....if you think about it....who is going to bail me out when I inevitably get mixed up undercover with a drug lord or a slave trader?" The last part was partially a joke.

| The Jedi Knight would keep her in front of him, keeping on rubbing her cheeks with his available hand. "You don't have to worry about me, I don't plan on dying anytime soon. As of you getting mixed up with a drug lord or a slave trader, I assure you I will not allow any harm to come to you. We will be fine." Jaden was sounding like a confident man. Perhaps too confident. Only time will tell if it would help or hurt him on this mission. "However, just in case something should happen to me," The Jedi Knight would take out a small holopad and handed it to Mira. "In there is the frequency for contacting a good friend of mine and a fellow Jedi Knight, Jace Varitek. I'm pretty sure he will know what to do."

| She took the holopad and looked down at it for a moment. "And what event would have to happen to warrant me calling this man? And what is he? And does he know who I am?" She wasn't sure about all of this. Slowly, Mira pulled away from him and moved towards her quarters as she still looked at the holopad. "Do you have to die before I call him? Or be captured or mauled?" There had to be some sort of stipulations.

| Jaden had let out a sigh, deciding to follow Mira into her quarters. "Like I said, I won't die. Just call him when I'm in trouble or something like that. You'll know if I got in trouble." The Jedi would then walk over and stood in front of Mira. "Jace is a Jedi Knight just like I am. He was famous for slewing Darwin Sky and an ancient Sith Lord. The man also managed to redeem a fellow Jedi that fell to the dark side. You can see why he is so important in this kind of situations. He would be able to rescue me from the dark jedi if I need it." The Jedi would clear his throat before speaking once again, "I'm more concerned with your safety than mine. I am not going to lose you, I promise you that." There it was again, he was putting Mira ahead of the Jedi Order and that's straining his relationship with the others within the Order. Jaden and Mira had develop such a strong bond because of feelings toward each other, and it only intensified once they decided to be in a relationship.

| She put the holopad away somewhere that she would be able to find it before she looked to him again. "You know that I can take care of myself, Jaden. I was teasing." It was a half truth at least. Sometimes she did get in over her head, but being engrossed was part of her job in such cases. "But I will call this Jedi if that is what you want." She would at least have someone to fall back on if things did go south for Jaden. "I am concerned about something else, Jaden. What have you told the council....?"

| "Um...about what?" Jaden had simply respond when Mira asked him about what he have told the Council. Even though Mira assured that she could take care of herself, Jaden would always be protective no matter what. "If you do have to call Jace, just tell him that Jaden told you to call him and that I would need his help."

| She sighed and moved away from him and to the window. "Do they know about you and I?" She asked, though she think she already knew the answer. I don't want to be the reason you get kicked out of the Jedi Order or anything, and I am afraid that is what it is going to come to." Mira said before she looked out into the darkness of space. There was still time to end all of this. She could go back to work and get herself immersed up to her eyeballs in a new case, and he could go back to doing, well, whatever it is that the Jedi spend their time doing when they aren't helping people.

| Jaden would shook his head, "We can work on this. Yes, they do know about us but that doesn't mean I have to choose one or another. I love being around you, you make me feel like I could do anything I want. You make me feel good about myself. As long as I am able to complete missions issued by the Jedi Order, everything will be fine. Should I be worried about what they think about us? Look, we can work this thing out." The Jedi Knight would just stand there, waiting for Mira to respond. Jaden took his lightsaber off the belt, but did not activate it. He was simply looking at it closely, and moving it around little bit with his hand. Then he looked at Mira, "I hope so." Jaden whispered to himself.
