| (( So it came to my attention that the current and previous activity of the Jedi Knights was limited to those Plots which were currently active my PC members within the group; negating the fact that Jedi Knights were called to other domestic affairs that aren't referenced in the books whatsoever. What I am to accomplish here is a list of crisis' that have come before the Jedi Order as petitions by regional governments or groups, to which we can designate Jedi Knights to part take in. You don't actually have to RP the particular event, but you can if you want--even going so far as contacting me so that I could play an antagonist in your writing and spice things up. Namely, what my goal is with this post is to show that the Jedi Order is ACTIVE, even if we don't have the members to actually take care of the crisis' that are listed. Consider appointment to these crisis' as a sort of placeholder for what your character is doing in the galaxy. I thought it was a neat idea. )) "Master, I have made this an open discussion between all members of the Jedi Order. I have here in my hand," the Niko raised his scaled hand, revealing a sheet of flimsi, "the dossier of events transpiring in the galaxy with which regional governments and interest groups have petitioned the Jedi Order for aid. Without further adieu, I shall present the listed items: The Serroco Incident The InterGalactic Mining Core in collaboration with Blethern Gas Industries have partnered together with a Rodian company by the name of "Tiburn Inc.," to produce a new particle accelerator referred to as the "Tiburn IV Partcle Bot". It was the hope of these three groups to supercharge partcles within the Ryyk Nebula and clump them together to produce a new moon of pure ore that could be mined. However, the event went horribly wrong when the Tiburn IV suffered a catastrophic failure and was forced to do an emergency shut down. The resulting shut down overloaded the systems and destroyed the bot, sending several debris into the atmosphere of Serroco and damaging major centres. The InterGalactic Mining Core and Blethern Gas Industries are currently in talks with the Serroco government to lend aid and whatever else is required, but the Serroco government has petitioned the Jedi Order to dispatch a Knight to oversee the growing hostilities between the Serroco people and the Telerath Banking Initiative which is being blamed for the incident and direct sabotage. The Mon Calamari expedition Several Amphi-Hydrus have positioned themselves near the Alopia Rift and are said to have been plaguing the Quarren Mining initiatives in the area. As a new treaty is being worked out between the Quarren and the Mon Calamari right now, the MonCal government has issued a petition asking the Jedi Order to dispatch a Knight to oversee the subjugation of the Amphi-Hydrus so that their operations do not deter the treaty. Metellos Plague Following the food disaster on Mowgle that was traced the Metellos, a private interest group has issued a petition to the Jedi Order asking for an overseer to be sent to them (A Jedi Knight) with the mandate to maintain the peace between several of the lesser districts on Metellos that have become hotbeds for dissent due to the disaster. The Mandate clearly states that no harm is to come to the civilian populace (which is already a requirement under Jedi mandate) but that a safe end can come from this dissent. Also Masters, it has come to my attention that there has been a disaster on Dantooine via the PDS; should we dispatch a Jedi Knight to perhaps be stationed on Dantooine pending any further Imperial incursion? At the very least we can guarantee the survival of the administration should their be an invasion. Though I hesitate to say that it will happen." (( Management feel free to void any of the instances listed above if they go too far. ))

| Master Alies’ voice was graver than usual, but his measured response was normal, even comforting. “I agree Master, but where are the Jedi. There is much work, but where are the laborers? Do we ourselves go out, away from our rightful places here on Yavin risking not only the loss of students, but the loss of the academy? “It is a mystery that few can answer, only the Force can give us sure understanding on this matter. I have meditated on this problem and see few sound courses of action. I am prepared to go to the aid of any one of these planets, and willingly so but we must leave someone here of appropriate stature to retain the leadership of our few young. “Perhaps it is time to ask the New Republic for aid, perhaps for money and ships to send out expeditions in hopes of once again swelling the ranks of the Jedi like out esteemed Master Skywalker once did. Perhaps you, Master Ky-Nomi could approach your friend Fitzgerald with this proposition. “Meanwhile let us get back to the matter at hand. Which Jedi are ready to take on these assignments?” His tone while speaking never betrayed a hint of fear or anger, only mild curiosity.

| "Masters, if I may," said Varitek respectfully as he stood from the gallery. He had only recently returned from his confrontation with Havoc at Dagobah, and he still bore the bruises to prove it. Much of his time back at the Academy had been spent in a bacta tank, though once recovered he had immersed himself in the library to research the whereabouts of Darwin's "forgotten world." He stood now before the Council with one arm still bonded in a cast, and having been recognized, began to speak. "I would happily volunteer for any of these assignments, particularly those where mediation is needed. However, with our friend and former Jedi Darwin still on the loose, and having failed once to stop him myself, I implore the Council to understand that I feel a personal responsibility to him and those whom he's killed to capture him, and with your understanding and permission I would like to resume my investigation." "It's my belief that Darwin may be on either Malagarr or Lehon, and I feel that if I confront him alone, I can bring an end to his rampage and return him to the Academy, with force or otherwise. What to do with him when he has returned, and what to do with Havoc now that he has been retrieved, is of course a matter for the Master's judgment. But I feel that this long conflict with Darwin is nearing its end, and should I return to the Academy in the coming week, I would be quite willing to take on any of the assignments that good Master Ky-Nomi has raised."

| The Jedi Knight would be walking into the Council chambers, not being sure if it was open to anyone else though a fellow Knight Jace Varitek has walked in. Jaden would take a chance by walking inside the chambers, seeing the Council members and Jace inside the room. The Knight would not speak right away, as not to interrupt Jace. However, when Jace was finished speaking with the Council. He would take a bow before speaking. "Greetings, I would be more than willing to help out with any of those assignments. I am fine with doing any of those assignments. However, I do think I would be best suited on overseeing the subjugation of the Amphi-Hydrus. If the Council do not feel I am capable of performing any of those assignments, I can aid the Jedi Order in finding potential recruits all over the galaxy in hopes of expanding the Jedi Order."

| "I believe that brokers to the question, Master Raztlain Alies, as to whether we are servants of the Republic, or servants of democracy. While I hasten to say we serve the Republic, I should also disassociate us from being prone to the bureaucracy of the New Republic. After all, the Jedi Order must maintain a sense of individuality; especially if we are to fulfill our mandate of mediation (of which the majority of the ally worlds of the Republic consider us to be). I agree with you however, that the current destitute state of the Jedi Order requires a mending with the New Republic. But unto the matter at hand. I see no reason; nor have any qualms, with sending Jedi Knight Jaden Emmangan to Mon Calamari to aid the Quarren miners. However, with relation to Jedi Knight Jace Varitek do I draw some qualm. My only regret is that so few Jedi exist to fulfill our capacity; and I agree with Jedi Master Raztlain Alies that we can not send out Council members out, but it is to be expected. While I do not wish to see Jedi Knight Jace Varitek taken away from these petitions, I believe that Darwin Sky presents a unique problem for the Jedi Order. The Chief of State has done well to brush aside the remarks and criticisms of members of the New Republic Senate, but the fact remains that we are being held accountable for failed teachings," his scales seemed to riffle with momentary irritation; he clearly didn't think that the Jedi Order was failing in it's capacity, "and as such, the New Republic is infringing upon the Jedi Orders sovereignty in demanding the trial of Darwin Sky. This is not to say that I do not think he would have faced trial, but the Jedi Order has lost face due to this, Representative Drayson Loran and the Outlying Shipping Corporation, simply by the New Republic having to strong arm the situation. We intended to cooperate with the New Republic to bring Darwin Sky to justice, I do not see why there had to be a clear establishment that we would lend aid in a matter that should be handled by a Jedi. Thereby, I firmly believe that Darwin Sky should be brought to justice by a fellow Jedi Knight to assure the Republic that we are not inept mystics," the anger was evident in him now, "and I support Variteks bid to finish the job." Evident as it was that Malius Ky-Nomi was upset over the Republics transgressions, it seemed that his anger was getting the best of him when he didn't even pay attention to appropriate rank and name when listing Jedi Knight Jace Varitek. Then again, his mind was elsewhere, and while his eyes betrayed his anger, his breathing began to relegate itself in an attempt to calm himself down.

| The only response to Malius’ sudden outburst of anger was a gentle raising of Raztlain’s eyebrows. He would say nothing, nor judge the other Master for it was not his place to do so. And, Master Ky-Nomi had raised a valid question. Once again Alies sat motionless waiting for the answer to ‘come to him’ as he’d often said. “No Master Malius, we are no more servants to the New Republic than to the Remnant, we are the servants of the Living Force and where she beckons so shall we go. But I hearken to your query and similarly understand, for I too wish to see the rift between out two entities healed. Perhaps that is our legacy my old friend,” he said so quietly he might have been talking to himself. “To mend the wrongs of old…” He fell silent again and his head drooped ever-so-slightly, he studied his hands on his lap for long enough that he could have been mistaken for sleeping, but suddenly his head snapped up and the fire was in his eyes again. “But,” he said swiftly, “on to the matter at hand. I agree with Jedi Knight Varitek, it should be he that finishes what he started, but I wonder if alone is best?" He let the sentence hang in the air for Jace to answer. After a brief pause he turned to the other youth. “And Jedi Emmangen, are you likewise ready to take on this burden?” His questions were neither angered nor obnoxious; again it was all open curiosity, almost like a child asking questions of his mother. Once again without waiting for an answer he returned his attention to Malius. “Ah old friend, would that this were a simpler time, but alas we do not choose the time for our lives, it is chosen for us and we are left to make the best use of it. It is my belief that the Jedi are stretched too thin, we must recruit and I fear that the only way is to ask for aid, will you not talk to the Chief of State? I am afraid that my contacts within the Senate are far less powerful and all too less likely to listen…”

| Varitek remained respectfully silent throughout the Council's discussion, knowing not to voice his concern or indeed, his opposition to Malius' prideful and isolationist approach. All they would sense from the Jedi Knight was a vague sense of apprehension, although his resolve to pursue Darwin did not waver. "I believe I can best confront him alone," he said after a moment's contemplation. "I believe I can appeal to his reason, or at least I have to believe that. And if not, I feel confident that I can pacify him. But if we ambush him en masse, he may simply elude us again, and that I do not think we can afford particularly with the... interest that the Republic has shown in this case." "But I do feel that time is of the essence," he stressed. "If I am to proceed, I would ask to take my leave of you and depart within the hour."

| :: Soft footsteps would be heard throughout the Council Chambers as the sound would resonate, slicing through the silence of those present. Saga would slowly and fluently bring himself before the Council and lower his head in respect. As for the fact that Saga was born without eyes, his eyelids would remain closed. Though this hindered him not as he glanced about the Council, securing a mental connection to all those present. Unlucky enough was he to not be raised by a man who spoke Basic. Finishing his scan through the room, Saga would slowly lower himself to his knees, his hands stable on his thighs as he loosened his mind and let go all the thoughts that freely flowed through his head. A cool yet strong voice would seem to resonate throughout the chamber, filling it with a soothing yet aggressive tone. :: My honored Masters and fellow Knights, I have listened from a distance to all that has been said between both parties. So it is for this reason I am here to make a request. It appears that my fellow Knight, Jace, has his heart set on pursuing our lost brother Darwin. I would have to agree with him on the fact that it is best he confront Darwin alone. Although, in his given state, I do not believe he should proceed alone. It is normally not my place as a Shadow to endeavor into this line of work, though I believe it is within the Council's best interest that I accompany Jace on this mission. My given abilities would help quench the idea of Darwin eluding us as well as prevent Jace from having to engage him in combat. As well having another with Jace would help ease the mind, would it not? :: Saga would relinquish the solitude of his mind and look among the Council once more, waiting for the responses of the gathered Masters. ::

| The Jedi Knight would look around the council chambers, sensing yet another Jedi to come into the room. He was about to speak when this Saga interrupted, Jaden would simply stand there and kept on listening. However, when Saga was finished speaking, he would begin to clear his throat. "Excuse me, Masters. Perhaps it is not my place to say, and forgive me if I am out of place. But I do believe it's best if Jace is to embark on this mission alone. This matter is not a mere business, but also personal for Jedi Varitek. It's personal for Darwin as well, if I'm correct, Jace would be the best person to bring him back or at least turn him back to the light side of the force." Jaden would stop speaking and remained silent for a moment before speaking to both Masters Ky Nomi and Alies. "Yes, I feel I am able to resolve the crisis by aiding the miners. If the Council feels otherwise, I will respect the decision of the Council. I am ready to do whatever assignments the Council asks me to do."

| And he would have glared at Raztlain too. The other Master (a close and old friend to Malius) knew exactly where Malius stood on the issue. Raztlain Alies served the Living Force, and with him was the beck and call of the force and what it required. Master Malius Ky-Nomi did not serve the force as intrinsically as Raztlain; he accepted that there was a difference between living, and the force. That this corporeal existence was something outside of the force, and yet inherently a part of it. As such, Malius worked within the vices of the living world to eventually attain 'forceship' and become one with the force. Then again, perhaps Malius had been reading too much on Echuuunism, and some of the much more recent writings of Yoda before his death. Shaking his head, Malius was already calm again, exhibiting a sense of serenity and collectiveness that only Raztlain could attain so well. Still, the Jedi Master was a skilled politician as well as Jedi, and his ties to Fitzgerald could come in handy--provided the Chief of State was not deposed of. A smile spread across Malius' lips as he glanced at Jaden, truly surprised that the Jedi Knight had the audacity, and the cunning, to speak up on a matter that was infront of the Jedi Council now, and not for under privy by outside scrutiny. Still, such brawn was something that implied alot about the individual, and that told Malius a great many things about this Knight. He was headstrong, not tactful, but prone to action rather than deliberation. He would make a fine candidate for the Amphi-Hydrus problem. "Jedi Knight Jaden Emmangan you are dismissed to the Calamari System, your mandate clearly offering you Jedi judisdiction over Dac," this meant that for the duration of the mandate, Jedi Emmangan was the leading Jedi in the Calamari System, acting as a liason between the Order and the indigenous of the planet, "you are to meet with Captain Tian of the Mon Calamari Naval Defense Group, she will give you a brief tour of the Alopia Rift before showing you your quartres. The dockmaster has already been informed of your departure and you are free to go. Jedi Knight Jace Varitek, you are dismissed to the planets of Malagarr or Lehon, with a mandate of seize and retrieve one Former Jedi Darwin Sky. We, as members of the Council, implore you to use whatever peaceful means you have to bring young Darwin back to the lightside, but similarly caution you that a Dark Sider is a dangerous tool in the galaxy, a tool best left in Jedi Hands, or no hands at all." Malius was staring at Jedi Knight Jace Varitek now. His eyes were pure black, and the intensity of the stare often made padawans nervous. A side effect, unfortunately, to be the hideous alien creature he was. Though most knew him for his compassion. "Jedi Knight Saga Bek, with regret the Council must decline your offer to aid Jedi Knight Jace Varitek; it is the belief of this Council that their are too few of us, and these petitions must be taken care of if the Jedi Order is to serve the force. However, your unique abilities of foresight with the force make you the ideal canditate for the Ryyk Nebula. Though strictly a mediation role, we, members of the Council, find this the idea situation for you." Malius fell silent again, letting Raztlain take the lead on the proceedings from here; though Malius made note of Jaden and Jaces departure when they did indeed leave.

| :: Saga's head would turn to look upon the force resonating from the form that was in fact his fellow Knight Jaden. That same cool and soothing yet menacing voice would penetrate the minds of those Masters and Knights alike around him. Saga would first take a deep breath before departing with his words. :: "I do believe it best that my brother in the Force, Jace, do pursue Darwin alone. I was merely suggesting that perhaps rather than risk the loss of an ally, ensure the closure of a crisis. Though it is not my place to decide what shall become of those within the galaxy nor the decisions that the members in this room partake." :: Saga would once more take a deep breath before his eyeless gaze would turn upon Malius as he spoke of what the Council beseeched him. Thinking over the mission bestowed upon him for a moment, he would gather his thoughts before speaking in turn to Malius. :: "Master Ky-Nomi it is my duty to carry out the orders that in which are given to me by the esteemed Council. I will until further notice travel to Serroco in which I will be in contact with the head of the government as a start. Once I understand the current events taking place fully, I will be in touch with the Council with a plan of action." :: Bowing his head for a moment as a sign of respect, Saga would rise to his feet slowly. With the slow rise, the connection he shared between the minds of the gathered would ebb away slowly until fading into nothing. Saga would turn, though before he would erase his presence from the Council chambers he would address Jace in a rather brotherly tone. A rare instance was it where he would communicate without use of the Force. The Mandalorian words would echo throughout the Council chambers and silence would once more fall upon those walls before Saga would turn, his eyeless stare upon Jace. Interjecting into Jace's mind he would relay a quick message. :: "It means good luck, we are thin in numbers. It would be best to return him to the Order before any remodification of his inner spirituality should be performed. If you should happen to fail, he will be lost to the Darkside only to never be found again. Know the importance of your mission and understand that every ally is a valuable brother here." :: It is with this message in tow he would relinquish the connection and continue on his way out of the walls of the Council chambers. It is because of his dealings and teachings of and within the Darkside that he warned Jace. Saga had offered himself as an insurance policy to the Council though he knew not of the connection between Jace and Darwin. All Saga could do was have hope in his fellow brother Knight and focus his mind upon his mission at hand. ::

| Having communicated through he Force with Malius, the only remaining Councilman besides himself (making such a traverse easier) they’d come to a mutual agreement before any words were spoken. Raztlain only nodded when Malius pronounced his judgment. “May the Force be with you…all of you,” he said into the thin air. Of course his voice would travel through the entire academy. Now his eyes swept around the room and fell on the solitary figure in the corner. “Jedi Knight Zandovin, what have you to say?" He questioned.
