I recieved a letter this week from a rival claimant to the Deralian throne, one King Ribaldequin, who comes from an Ancient Deralian family who are rumored to be descended from the ancient ruler of Deralia, only known as Revan. Anyway, King Ribaldequin Leiro addressed the Neimoidian Assembly of Houses and the Assembly voted he be made King of Deralia, and unless the Government of Deralia surrender their fiefdom immediately, we will be enforcing his claim, with force if nessesary.

The King of Deralia has made guarantees to us, that he will install a constitutional Monarchy on Deralia and restore its economic sucess. Furthermore he has also made a binding covenant to bring Deralia into the New Republic and shake off all Imperial Symbolism when the transition of Government is complete. Neither his family nor himself have had much relation with the Empire, his father lived an opulent life on Coruscant in the Imperial and Old Republic era, financed by the rents off their ancestral lands on Deralia and Anaxes.

We have extended to them an offer of immediate surrender, and informed the people that they are to have a change of Government from the current post-Imperial independant tyranny.

As such, due to the will of the Legislature, my Government is forced to Withdraw its Recognition for the Current Government of Deralia and formally make a request for its Government to vacate Imperial City and Mithra immediately, which will be replaced quickly by the Deralian forces lead by King Ribaldequin which will be supported by their allies, Neimoidia.

While this is a matter of a conflict, one sovereign world with another, the New Republic has no real truck in this, but for the sake of being polite we thought fit to let you be informed before we take our action.
