In honour of the New Republic and the people who make it what it is, I am pleased to announce the upcoming Life Day Eve Ball! To be be held on the evening of ******** (December 20th)! This will be the first life day of my Presidency of this Senate and I do not intend the event to pass without being marked.

As such, a ball will be held in the Executive Hall of 500 Republica. All members of the Senate are invited and will be made more than welcome.

The program will consist of the following:

12pm - The Senate will close early. This will extend to all branches of the State in order that people may get home to spend the evening with their families and friends.

6pm - Wookiee-ookies and Hoth Chocolate will be served, free of charge on the steps of the Senate to all who wish to make merry in the season. A tree will be placed on the Rotunda, and music will be played by the live massed orchestra of the New Republic.

8pm - Festivities will begin at 500 Republica, with canapes, champagne and aperitifs served.

9pm - Dinner will be served in the Grand Banqueting Hall.

11pm - Dinner will conclude, to be followed by speeches by the Chief of State and two other speakers TBA.

3am - The bar will be closed and music will come to an end.
