With the greatest respect, Senator Cambrist, I wasn't asking for the Commerce Council's sympathy. I reserve my opinions on the entirety of said Council and the way it is run, but that is entirely another manner. I hardly plan to prosecute captains and crew who did their jobs loyally and faithfully. If we have no ships to guard convoys, sometimes we must make gambles. In this case, it did not pay off.

As for the Hutts, let me say this: I don't care if there are three billion Hutts on Nal Hutta. I don't care if there are twenty billion Hutts five miles from here! Every Hutt has the ability to be corrupt and, Force forbid, unless the children were taken from their parents and raised differently, I fear that ALL Hutts are criminal or one day will be. Show me ten decent Hutts and I will be astounded. Show me twenty without greed and I may nearly have a heart attack.

Dear Sir,

Whether or not you punish the carelessness of your pilots is not my concern, neither is whether or not you allow them to continue piloting your ships and, thus, endangering your cargo. My objection, rather, is at having to endure Druckenwell's complaining to the Senate when the theft of that cargo does, inevitably, occur. Let us both hope that the next time it occurs it will not involve a shipment intended for Brentaal, for if so, my world will assuredly press charges against yours for negligence. I'm surprised that Dantooine hasn't done so already.

With respect to the Hutts, my good fellow, I do not disagree with you. One learns, however, that it is inpolitic to say such things in public.

Regards.

Senator Cambrist,

If your views are such, let us only hope then that there is no need for Druckenwell and Brentaal to exchange goods. I hardly doubt Dantooine can press any charges when our cargo was sent freely to assist them. If he wishes, Jamie the Hutt can whine, complain and, frankly, if you'll pardon my language, defecate all over his repulsor-sled. I could care less what his obese and gluttonous mouth has to say unless it is an admittance of guilt or a sign that he is stepping down and turning himself over to the authorities.

Regards.
