At his desk within his office at Bandomeer. He was overgoing his last duties as Inspector General. It was a good year serving as such, but recent events had him being pushed out of the High Command. Thankfully, his boss loved and respected him, and helped push back. Now, he was returning to the field, as the commander of the Fifth Battle Group. A unit he helped found, he felt honored being given one of the most sought after jobs in the entire NRDF, and returning to one of his old commands. It was likely the Captains were not the same, but his name still hung in the corridors, probably remembered by some of the senior enlisted and officers that were still in the fleet, although junior in their ranks probably during his time.

His last duty was to respond to Gavrisom, submitting a small report back to him through a memo. While he strangely received his orders by paper letter all the way out on Bandomeer, which was the cause for the delay in response, although the orders from the Admiralty came within six hours of the actual letter being sent out of Gavrisom's office. Once that was off, he went to the command center of the orbital base. The station was large enough to house two whole Battle Groups, and offer repair services to either patch up skirmish damage or get the ships well enough to make their way to major shipyards that could pull off extensive repairs. However, those services hadn't been regularly used in the past year due to the treaty, and they regularly helped out Republic traders that passed through requiring such. Despite what seemed military inactivity at the base for awhile, they were indeed busy. They oversaw all trade in the region, and served as a customs station for Bandomeer. They never had problems with pirates in the region, mainly due to the dominating presence of at least one Republic Battle Group at all times. However, at the moment, while doing their usual duties, the staff of the command center were busy doing something else. Clearing the way for their new arrival.

Not a moment too soon, they finally had the vector cleared, as well as a path into the docks. As he came through the doorway, the entire Fifth Battle Group dropped out of hyperspace in view of the command center's viewports. He smiled, thinking that if a fleet could strut with a cocky confidence, albeit a deserved one, the Fifth would. It was called a "Weapon of Conquest" by its detractors; to Nadia, it was the Righteous Hammer of the Force itself, ready to lay down blind justice. He watched the proceeding docking of the fleet, joining the already present and docked Fourth Battle Group, another old command of his. He proceeded to walk down to the entryway for the Resolute, where Vice Admiral Ria Park (formerly Holst) walked out. The Marines at the entry way came to attention, with both Admirals saluting one another. Ria was one of his "students" for lack of a better term. She was his adjutant for many years, and moved on to her own commands. She was selected to command the Fifth, replacing Kiles L'toth, She had never been to Bandomeer herself in her entire career, which was explainable by the only port his forces made while she was under his command was Anaxes, and when they did make port of Bandomeer, she was transferred off to First Battle Group before stepping foot on the station.

Because of her inexperience with the station, he proceeded to give her a tour, during which they discussed personal matters, such as how his daughter was doing, she had become a Rear Admiral and was overseeing the construction of the Viscount, something he was proud of her for. Then their personal discussion moved on to herself, who had celebrated her ninth wedding anniversary on Coruscant a week ago, with General Revan Park of the Starfighter Corps. The young man and his Rascal Squadron was assigned to him several times, he knew him as a good commander, having a good head on his shoulders, and being a realist. They were a perfect match, and celebrated their two children, who were doing well in school on Coruscant. He was begining to feel his age, seeing Ria rise like a shooting star, his own daughter encroaching on him in position, Derez Stazi, another former adjutant and "student", now commanding the Fourth Battle Group, and Treslar, yet another one of his former adjutants and "students", was commanding the Second Battle Group, as he had for the past decade, and was a confidant and essentially adjutant to Ackbar. He was proud to see them flourish into new roles, and advance themselves. He was modest about his involvement in their careers, never taking credit for mentoring any of them, although it was notable that he was a mentor to them, and his legacy of teaching was spread throughout the hierarchy of the Navy. Their personal conversation slowly brought him away from this train of thought, and back into reality, and the now.

He concluded the tour with showing her his office. "This is the current field office for the Inspector General." he said to her. "Is it permanant?" she asked. He shook his head and laughed. "Usually, it's set up on Coruscant or Anaxes, however most of the tours and duties I've had to undertake were on the Rim, so I made the decision to move it here. You are in constant communication with the Supreme Commander and the rest of High Command. I am the first from the Navy to hold the position, and now you will carry this on." he said to her. She nodded and smiled. She was only temporary, until an official decision on his successor. "This is yours, you may move your field command as you please, and I'm assuming that will be to Coruscant. I've left some notes for you to go over, some tips on doing the job. It can be boring, dull, and slow at times; it can be fact, hectic, and draining at others. Just remember that excellence, even in peace, is always our aim." he said. As he walked out of the office, he turned to her. "Oh, check the drawer after your inspection of the Fourth. I'll meet with you then." he said, walking off to being preparations of the Fifth's mitssion, before this evening's ceremony.
