It has been a long time since the true identity of Stam Tuala was discovered. The last time that happened was when he was a Dark Acolyte serving Darth Tyranus and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. That was the onset of the Clone Wars, almost forty years ago. It was the time where he was young, brash, and reckless. That was viewed by the old Jedi Council, one that was corrupted, or so Stam believed at the time. Before he was a Dark Acolyte, he was a Jedi Knight that decided to follow in his former master's footsteps by defecting to the dark side. However, when the Separatists were defeated and the Republic turned into a mighty Galactic Empire, that was when he knew the Dark Acolytes were simply being used as the pawns in the Sith Order's grand scheme. Darth Sidious never intended to continue using the Dark Acolytes. Because of that, Order 66 was not the only tool being used against the Jedi Order. It was a tool that they could use against the force sensitives that Darth Sidious believes to be a threat. Stam Tuala had to fled into the hiding, as seeing he has no allies to turn to. So much for using a droid army, being deactivated and all.

He couldn't return to the Jedi survivors as well. It was not because they would not help a former Dark Acolyte, but because his beliefs was different from that of the Jedi. This was when he had realized that he was to study in the ways of the Gray Jedi. Utilizing the Force from both the light and the dark as the means of survival. The Gray Jedi has been in hiding all over several places for several years. He has hide in places such as Kashyyyk, Tatooine, Dantooine, Dxun, Nar Shaddaa, and Deralia. All those places have a same characteristic: each planet has the means he needs to stay alive. He also made some stops in between places, visiting a few Force-sensitive organizations such as Baran Do, Zeison Sha, and Jal Shey. He decided to learn from them in order to gain more knowledge of the Force, to put himself in a larger perspective of the Force.

Even after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, he remains traveling all over the galaxy. As long as the Imperials remain, there's a possibility he remains a target. Stam's little bit more in touch with the galaxy than he was before the defeat of the Empire at Endor. Even then, a very few knew of his true identity. Nine years ago, he had contacted the New Jedi Order and offered to give all his records on the knowledge of the Force. The new Jedi seems reluctant to meet with a Gray Jedi. He decided to miss the meeting on purpose, so he could hold on to the records. Stam wanted to pass the records of to someone worthy, and the New Jedi Order clearly wasn't. Perhaps the Gray Jedi was waiting for someone worthy to come across, like an apprentice or someone that wants to record Stam's existence. Maybe he simply want to keep it.

Whenever people come across him, they simply believed him to be an ordinary old coot. He kept moving from place to place in his P-38 starfighter that was still in use from the Clone Wars. Of course, he had to keep upgrading the ship to keep it running. Eventually, he knew he would need to purchase a new ship. He was always moving from one odd job to another to earn some money to keep his ship running and to provide himself with the necessities. As of the moment, he's currently sitting alone on a chair in the dark corner of a cantina that was residing on Coruscant. Stam had wondered if the Force has something that's out of ordinary in the store for him today.

The news reported of many things in the last few months and it had looked like the galaxy was getting back together after the struggles that had taken place with Novak several years prior. Tyra had been an instrument in his own downfall and that gave her something to smile about. there was always something about giving the galaxy back to those who were truly worthy of it that brought a sense of refreshment to her. Tyra had spent her time in many different areas during the last several years and was still heavy in the underground influence. those who knew of her whereabouts were usually on a need to know basis. those that tried to trace her in the past always ended up at the underlevels and no where else. this allowed her to come and go freely as a shadow in the night. now was the right time to make her presence known once again. Tyra had flown into Coruscant a few nights before and had just walked into one of the local cantinas for a drink. the dark atmosphere gave her good cover as to who she was. sensing the presence of another force user within a smile came across her face with a single thought in mind. well well, what have we here? she took a seat in one of the booths and relaxed some as she sought out the presence more.

The Gray Jedi would remain in his seat in the dark corner, listening to the music. However, that doesn't mean he was enjoying the music. "The music nowadays. They're crappy, and I like it better when I was a young lad." Stam thought to himself. A waitress came to the old man, asking him if he wants a drink. "Plain ol' water is fine with me, ma'am." He spoke as the waitress nodded and walked away in order to get a glass of water for the Gray Jedi. That was the moment he sensed a force user coming into the cantina. It was a dark aura. However, it didn't seem to really mind Stam. Of course, it couldn't hurt to find out who this is. An old man like himself needn't concern himself with this type of stuffs. After all, the dark side and the light side is only the different kinds of perspectives on the Force. He wasn't going to be caught up with all that struggle if there's nothing that is going to benefit him. At the moment, he is simply sitting and tolerating those music.

Tyra was not usually in these types of places except for now and then but this was different. this time she felt at home somehow. perhaps it was the darkness, perhaps just those around her. each had their own reasons to be here and it was also known as a good place to find some of the best smugglers in the galaxy sometimes if you knew who to look for. but the presence that she had felt was waiting and she would allow it to do just that. "afraid to face me?" she whispered to his mind with a slight grin as she looked to the waitress who took her order for a drink. she would continue to relax as it was a rareity in these times that she took full advantage of it when she could.

Whenever a force-sensitive being sensed someone with a dark aura, he or she should be nervous due to a potential chaos that usually was caused by the darksiders. Stam was not one of them. He just felt calm, not really afraid about whether this person would wreak havoc. However, he would still be wary should something arise. Once he heard an unfamiliar voice coming into his head, he immediately knew it was this darksider that was seeking to lure him out. The Gray Jedi would simply chuckled, "Why should I be afraid of you? I am not facing you simply because you do not concern me. If you want some company, don't let me stop you." Stam would reply back to the darksider through the Force. His waitress came back and handed him a cup of water as he ordered. "Thank you, ma'am." The old man went ahead and began drinking his cup.

upon hearing hiws answer, Tyra chuckled softly. "someone doesn't have to be a threat to be
of concern to you. she moved from where she was sitting and moved over to where he was seated
and smiled to him softly. "I do believe I will take you up on that offer. the patch on her shoulder was
that of an organization that ferw knew of but she had hoped that would change but it was also something that was
an old republic symbol and it would only flash briefly as she sat down. "been a while since I have seen another force user.

The Gray Jedi would look up as the beautiful female was sitting down next to Stam. He proceeded to take another sip out of his glass, and put it on the table next to him. The old man would recognize the symbol, it was something he hasn't seen in a long time. "Well, you know there aren't many force users going around nowadays. Those that call themselves Jedi are at that Academy on Yavin Four. The Sith and their dark jedi allies are probably in hiding. If I'm right, you were probably hiding from the Jedi." Stam would speak, clearing his throat before speaking once again. "Oh, don't worry, I'm not going to rat on a beautiful woman like yourself to the Jedi. They are of no concern to me neither." The Gray Jedi would wonder a moment if he should bring up the patch thing, but then decided he has nothing to lose. "Don't you think you'd be branded a traitor toward the men in shining white armors if you keep wearing that thing on your shoulder?"

Storm troopers are of no worry to me never have been I have worked among many different organizations during my years and spent many years in hiding like most jedi did just after the purge my presence has been known very little within the galaxy except for a few years back and even then those were only a select few who actually knew me by name. so no,not really. then again,I have contacts who know how to keep things quiet until the time is right to be known. although trying to explain to the last man that I had to deal with that Tyranus and Sidious were no longer living was not an easy thing until he found out in proof. for some reason he had this thought that seperatists were still in charge.....oh well easy come easy go you know? thise that want to find me know how and where to locate me it has always been that way.

He would keep on listening to the lady preaching to him about how she hide and all that, Stam would look into her eyes. "As have I, I went into hiding once the Dark Acolytes were disbanded as have the Seperatists. I knew Darth Tyranus personally, and he was probably better suited to run the galaxy than his former master. However, that doesn't really concern me much. The reason I went into the hiding was because I knew the Sith Order would perceive me as a threat and have the entire Imperial starfleet being thrown at me. And so, I adopted a way in the Force where I was able to wield powers from both dark and light as the means of survival. Nobody knows my name, and it would be difficult for them to find me if I wish not to be found."

"able to wield dark and light eh? perhaps we have something in common then. a smile came across her lips for a brief moment. I am thankfull that I was taught in both worlds so to speak. so many jedi lack that and so many sith and jedi alike think their way is the only true way in this galaxy. a whole starfleet? imperssive. although I must wonder why they would think one particular person is so much of a threat. although in my years of hiding it has been amazing to have seen what I have and be involved in. so you knew him personally?" she asked questionably about Tyranus. "tell me what was he like on a personal level?"

"Yeah, well, if you have seen the way I fight in the Clone Wars, you'd think the same thing." The Gray Jedi crossed his arms, keeping up with the conservation. It was something interesting, a conservation he haven't had in a long time. "Yes, both the Jedi and the Sith want the same thing but their beliefs and the motives behind the events are different. Each faction just do things differently. If you are to discover the truth behind the Force, you must step back and view the Force as a whole in order to become a complete and wise leader." Stam would let out a sigh, looking back to the days where he was a Jedi and then turned into a Dark Acolyte, combating the Jedi and clone troopers alike. "Well, Tyranus is different from the rest of the Sith. He does not speak on empty threats like the others, he would prove his words through actions if necessary. He manipulate, but not in the ways a Sith would usually do. He manipulate by winning the hearts of the living beings, convincing them that the Old Republic was corrupt and a stronger government would be able to get rid of that. He was one of a kind, someone that could have easily snuck his way into the position of Supreme Chancellor if it wasn't too late for him. Enough of my ramblings, the Seperatists are gone as is the so-called glory days of Galactic Empire. This is the time of New Republic and a government powerful enough would supplant them someday in the future."

"I knew very little of him but that is the way things have to be done sometimes it doesn't always come down to force when dealing with situations but sometimes you have no choice.." Tyra chuckled softly. "you sound a lot like my master was he knew many different ways of dealing with things he used the force when it was necessary but not for his own gain. he always said there were times when things needed to be bent a little to be able to get along in this galaxy. and he was right in many ways. what made him a rouge is he didn't quite fit the "morals" of the code so to speak. he formed his own. she then sighed softly at the mention of another government. "perhaps, but that will all depend."

"That is the way things must be. When something in the past doesn't fit quite well with the present, then that something must change in order to be in flow with the universe. That is why the Jedi and the Sith both will never agree with my beliefs. It is because they do not take a step back and see the larger picture of the Force. You do not have to be ruthless. You do not have to be too nice. All you have to do is to find the middle ground, and go with it. That is why I have survived the Great Jedi Purge while many did not." The Gray Jedi raised his eyebrows and looked at Tyra when she mentioned that Stam reminded her of her own master. "Bah! Am I that old? Oh well, if I am old, it is because I deserve it."

"Larger picture of the force?" tyra just smirked. "most don't see because they don't wish to see it. true everything changes, but a new government is not an answer to anything hanges in the existing one is. those that have great visions of bringing people under control should be watched out for the struggle will always continue as the need for balance continues. and it is that balance that is always sought out to be destroyed. the sith have never accomplished their goal in getting rid of the jedi and the same remains with the Jedi getting rid of the sith. no one can see that far into the future as to what is truly needed they can only see what is needed when the time comes. and even if you could alter the course of how things are being done would it really be wise to do so?." Tyra sat back and relaxed with a soft chuckle. as she looked him over. "hey I am only in my late 30's and yes you do, your views are alot like his."

"A point well taken." Stam would simply spoke. The Gray Jedi didn't really have anything else to say, so he decided to remain silent and waited for the beautiful woman to continue speaking. The old man would simply think back to the days when he was young, a lot of reckless adventures. He shook his head lightly, "Well, I'd better get going. Nice to meet you, ma'am. Perhaps someday we would cross each other again so we could have this chat." The Gray Jedi would nodded out of respect before getting out of the Cantina and headed for the hangar bay.
