Description: Rath Thalo is a former Jedi Knight and a Nautolan from the planet Glee Anselm. He has a narcissistic personality and believes that his species (and he personally) is superior to others. He comes across as smug and impatient, having joined the Jedi Academy in 17 ABY and dropped out only two years later. His emphasis of study at the Academy was the application of the Force to combat, while ignoring broader subjects such as history, diplomacy, and so on.

Rath regards the Jedi as too superstitious and gullible, and strongly resents the New Republic for, in his view, having imposed its own fashion of government on his homeworld and made peace with the Imperial Remnant, which he resents even more strongly. The Jedi, in contrast, regarded his views as disconcerting, and feel that his impatience and tendency to seek the simplest, easiest solutions leaves him prone to the Dark Side of the Force. He has not been in contact with the Jedi or the Republic since last year, when he left the Academy.
