History: Jerrod Corbo was born to Peadar and Esme Corbo in Rhire, the capital of Rhinnal. His father was a burgeoning pharmaceutical magnate and his mother a surgeon climbing the medical ladder, meaning that Jerrod was often left to his own devices or with nannies. That being said, his parents did love him very much and attempted to provide him with all of life’s necessities, if not more. He showed artistic talent early on much to the chagrin of his parents who wished he’d one day continue his education in either business or medicine.

His life was a pretty uneventful one until he reached puberty. Aged 15, Jerrod would often experience odd, if not entirely pleasant, sensations at the back of his mind and see flashes of translucent colors and lights. He eventually asked his parents about such a phenomenon and they pestered him with questions as to his eating habits or what he had been up to during the day to try and explain such a condition within their son. He concocted a story about having been hit in the head during gym class earlier and his frantic parents rushed him to a medcentre for tests. Having determined that there was no actual damage, he was forced to take two capsules, sent to bed and was told to get some rest and that he’d feel better in the morning; much to his annoyance given this occurrence had lasted close to a week.

As time went by, his condition deteriorated. He could now hear voices in his head, giving him severe migraines. He would also suffer from drastic mood swings and could swear that he’d have visions when sometimes touching certain objects. The worst appeared to be his uncanny ability to move small objects when experiencing emotional highs, which he determined was all in his head. Fearing his parent’s reaction to his obviously less than adequate mental health, Jerrod took to stealing medication from his father’s pharmaceutical supplies in order to numb his mind. They did minimise the headaches and the severity of his increasing “attacks” and Jerrod was dead set on squashing these oddities from his system.

In reality, Jerrod was a latent Force-sensitive who was treating his link to the Force as a disease and who was attempting to suppress his access to it, only worsening his case instead of ameliorating it as he believed he was doing.

He eventually enrolled in university in a basic Arts degree and focused his education in history and communication theories, leaving home for the first time in his life. His pill popping tendencies continued and further grew as he tried in vain to expunge the Force from his body. From his often intoxication and lack of genuine interest, Jerrod maintained a straight Cresh average. Despite his disinterest in academia, Jerrod immersed himself in school life and often took to participating in karaoke parties or helping out during concerts. Although he had received no formal training, he appeared to have been gifted with a superb singing voice and quickly sought out like-minded individuals to try and form a band. He met fellow Human students Myles Davenby and Edrian Stavros on campus and the three began their increasingly serious musical effort after their graduations, bringing Zabrak Vril Rokk and Nautolan Gran Reez to their fold through a series of chance and random encounters.

Their group of five assembled, WarpDrive was created. With himself as frontman, Rokk on the quetarra, Reez on power drums, Stavros on bass vye, and Davenby on touchboard and providing backup vocals, the young quintet set out to conquer the Core’s charts. All the while, Jerrod continued to silently suffer from his “affliction” and ignored the damage he was inflicting upon his body and the futility of his actions to combat what he now genuinely believed was a malignancy within him. Unknown to him, he was turning himself into a ticking bomb…
