Ok, Jory brings a good point. I had forgotten for a moment about the Stealth Hull attribute. My apologies. I guess the ultimatum here would be, pick either the stealth hull or the neutronite hull.

I think the ship as a battering ram is a bit of a misconception, but an easy one to make. The ship must be considered in its entirety, you see—it has a very strong and unique hull, very strong and unique shields, very strong and unique engines, very strong and unique weapons, and a very strong and unique power system. It is "uber l33t" in absolutely every way it is possible to be. I am, to be honest, quite disconcerted in principle by this sort of design; it's like requesting only the most advanced possible starfighters, or the strongest possible Force powers, and so on. I'm a fan of moderation, as we know, because the opposite of moderation is this.

I've made known my reluctance about the weapons (which remain unresolved), and the stealth hull. These are at least two things that I think should go. I think I might have raised some concerns about the shielding also, on another thread perhaps, which have not been addressed as far as I can recall. Since this ship has the same shielding, I think this should be looked into as well. I don't mean to be rude or argumentative about this, just stubborn.

It's far from a ram. It's a heavy-duty weapons and fighter-launching platform. Ramming would not be beneficial towards it. Haha.

If you'd like me to drop the stealth hull, so be it. It's not more than a simple radar-type resistant covering on any hull, normal or otherwise. As for this being an 'uber ship,' well, if you wise (once I am out of basic), I will design a true uber ship for comparison. This vessel is simply a slow-moving pocket carrier with a few hard-hitting weapons.

I suppose that, yes, if you tossed six or seven at a larger vessel, they would be trouble, but one-on-one assuming it is a head-on fight, an ISD could smoke this strike cruiser.

The weapons remain unresolved, I think.

Okay, I'll just need a bit of time to familiarize myself with this request again and I'll have a response to it tonight or tomorrow.
