I want to request that a thousand years ago, or however long ago is reasonable to have contacted the Vong beyond the Outer Rim; that the progenitors of the Nintra line encountered the Vong and while over time, Nintras have been both good and evil, they have been preparing for the day when they would once again be confronted with the Vong. The initial contact would have been significant and violent between the Nintra ancestor and the Vong, and would have left the Nintra with the conclusion that the Vong heralded the end of the Force, something to which the Nintra line is utterfly faithful to. In the beginning, the story was passed down from Father to Son as a preparatory tale, preparing them for a confrontation that they could only assume was very near, but time continued to pass and the Vong never showed up and so as the decades and centuries wore on, it became something of a myth, a story told to frighten little children - until now. Pandra, Tes'dra's father, received a communication from a family friend - Sytess, that read only "Prepare". Thinking that it could only relate to the tales of monstrous beings of tremendous power and the doom they brought to the Force, the training of his own son, Tes'dra, was ramped up in ways that the Nintra family had neglected for centuries. The old ways were brought back, starting even in Tes'dra's infancy, regularly neglecting the child, forcing him to be more independent, more strong, more powerful than any Nintra that had come before him, training constantly and without any true breaks other than the sleep nescessary fro his muscles to grow. Tes'dra has been brought up with the understanding that he must prepare the Force - and those that bear it, and the galaxy for the monsters that Pandra taught him about, from the oral legend that the Nintra family had passed down since what seems like the beginning of time.
Particular knowledge of the Vong has been lost to the line for generations, only the generalized notion that Force killing monsters are on their way, the strongest part of the myth still alive is that the Nintra line (being rather egocentric and arrogant) assumes that it must provide the being that will rally the galaxy against the monsters the line so long ago fought against. Makashi, while it is a lightsaber dueling technique, with its limited requirement of flamboyant force powers and ability to translate into regular single combat without force imbued weapons was chosen long ago as the chosen technique of full blooded Nintra heirs (full blooded being male heirs of male nintras) to in fact someday fight the Vong again.
So, taking this to Tes'dra. I want it to add more depth to his quest to purify the Force - He is in his mind, purging the unworthy so that the strongest of the Force's servants can defend it - and the galaxy - against the 'anti force', if you will. To go along with this, he has plans to train agents and infiltrate every major galactic power / body that he can as sleeper agents, to gain power, and one day activate in an 'order 66' fashion to force all of the Force's assets to fight against the Vong in a concerted fashion.
