Please post the list of prohibited items under the new act. Saying youve transmitted it without saying what is actually banned is basically saying anything can be declared banned under this act when you see a ship you feel like intercepting, you can just declare its cargo banned.

As such, a list would be nice.

i could but i don't have to do such. Since it has been stated as being an extensive list and you know one item on it..just use your imagination. If you want general ideas: certain power cell types, certain chemicals(and the objects containing them ie Vjun tunics), certain types of industrial equipment which could lead to more pollutants being in the air, and other environmental hazzards. Don't like no list, well tough.

And to be honest its not that big of a change, because planetary owners can say what does and what does not pass as law on their world. My world, my call essentially.

Vjun tunics are just made of silk and cotton. There are no further chemicals in them aside from common galactic dyes.. And planetary rulers need to abide by the rules of the RP.. something needs to be posted/rped/stated before it is the case, you cannot make things up after the fact and claim they existed before.. even if you own your world its against the rules to just make things up.

I think this highlights one of the major problems with player created worlds.

thats what you fail to understand it seems, that everything will have chemicals in it whether you want to claim so or not. Cotton has to be treated before it is ready to be sewn, the dyes contain coloring chemicals inside of them. Just about every single method of creating something basically involves chemicals at some point. And if these were so common they wouldn't be called 'luxury items.'

The same is true of ANY world player created or not. It doesn't matter basically the person who controls the planet makes the rules. You want to change that then every single person would have to give up any planets they control which would make it a pain in the ass to be a senator, because then you WOULDN'T be able to say that your people are in support of a measure.

And not to mention having one character blindly back another, not only being against the rules and such but would be interesting considering that its supporting Vjun, which really wouldn't be represented in the Imperial Senate anyway, does so at times when it would be against its own best interest. Anaxes for example is a MILITARY world, it benefits from having strong independent forces to guard it.

So before you start criticizing other rpers look to yourself and shut the f**k up.

I'm not going to continue this discourse. Evidently you aren't going to reply civilly to the points I have raised, and you don't have the right to curse other rpers out on the forum.

Shocking.

And as a simple point. If you don't like how I rp, you don't like the way things are don't put yourself into positions where I have to respond. The senate is one thing because we both play Senators. But threads like attacks on my world and such don't start it if you don't like it. Simple.

Crin, this behavior really isn't acceptable here. You're being obnoxiously rude to another member who isn't being rude to you. You can have your disagreements with Jamie and you can have at him all you want in private, but on the forum—as Rule 1.6 says—you're expected to act as you would in public. No one acts like this in public, except a child. A profane child. That, and the Tea Party. Do argue with Jamie about the the points that you both raise, but don't make this personal. No one should ever be told to "shut up" on the forums, except Havoc. Everyone should be able to speak freely here, as long as they're not rude about it. Other members shouldn't have to be a party to the OOC animosity between you and Jamie, and having spoken to a few members about this today I know they tend to agree. So please mind the rules and be civil; if you're confident that you're right and you make your points in a reasoned, articulate way, there's no reason not to be.
