Nature of the Empire, buddy... I mean, you know... Stormtroopers who wear Clone Trooper armor, a crew who doesn't wear uniform nor follow regulations; all of which spontaneously was corrected following a memo between two characters referencing it causing suspicion. Add on to that rumored unapproved modification to your vessel and out of the blue the character is making claims of being an Inquisitor, with High Command being completely in the dark on it... it's going to raise a few eyebrows. When that happens, ISB must do it's job. batman

Ever take into account the fact that it is specifically done that way due to the sensitive nature of the missions the character normally goes on. You cant really have an Inquisitor or Imperial Captain out in the Outer Rim trying to contact Rebel forces to weed them out while you're flailing your arms around and going. "Look at me, look at me, I'm an Imperial Inquisitor that is under cover as an Imperial Captain."

First of all, awesome Batman emoticon. Second, "investigation" is kind of an intimidating word but as far as I'm aware this isn't that big of a deal, really. Just that the Imperial brass are confused about Deamora's profile, history, etc. and are looking into it IC. I don't think it's anything to stress about despite how Carson is making it sound. Also, as far as I know, this was in the works for awhile even before Deamora's profile change. I hope that clears things up. And let's be nice please, gentlemen.

Thanks, Jace!

Ali, the point is, as Jace noted above, the brass of the Empire are completely clueless in regards to the character. And this change is being as of Monday, only two days ago. There were still questions before the change, and there are even more questions after. I was holding off until the end of Alurion to start this, but recent events kind of forced me to step up. At an OOC level, and definitely IC, is that no one in the Imperial leadership was aware of his standing as an Inquisitor. There are no secrets to Palpatine, and by extension Pestage. Thus, when Hines was expressing worry about the character to Pestage, Pestage, had he known, could have brushed Hines off, rather than express concern, as well.

Just as you can't have an Inquisitor running around the Outer Rim flailing their arms and legs to gather up Rebels, neither can you have the entire Imperial leadership, including the Director of Imperial Intelligence (the technical overseer of the Inquisitorius) and the Grand Vizier (the eyes, ears, and voice of the Emperor) in complete darkness about the operations of an Inquisitor.

why does it seem like each time I come up with a character, someone has to take a shot at it because they dont like it.

You got a concern about my character. How's this. I got a big fucking concern over characters like yours that just pop up out of the fracking blue with no profile, an automatic rank and just start throwing out orders.

Here, you know what, if you have such big concerns over a fucking character that was made to be unique. I'll re-edit his bio and turn him into the perfect clone of every single fracking Imperial Captain out there. No secret history, no personality, just a fucking clone of one dimensional blandness that is every single Imperial Navy Captain.
