| The case could be made, though, that English is really just an amalgamation of numerous other languages.

| And the case could be made that that those languages are just a bastardised version of proto indo-european language. But really we just reach an infinite regress.

| Gonk says it's fallacious to think of American English as less correct because it is a dialect of English (or English English for want of a more precise phrase), because of the constantly shifting nature of language and the arguably more "current" or relevant nature of the latest incarnation as opposed to its predecessor, which, as we have seen throughout history, can disappear altogether or otherwise fail to be relevant in modern society. That and the infinite regress that Ordan has mentioned makes the argument moot and ultimately silly.

| Through the eons of time and the lightyears of space the Rogue Planetoid would tread. If it had a mind, perhaps its mind would pass the ice ages by considering the mysteries of the cosmos, Antecedent-contained deletion, the First Cause, the Munchausen Trilemma and indeed the great of all great questions. Was it turtles all the way down?
Something it certainly did not wonder about was power droids, not black holes, nor their irrelevant and nihilistic views of the universe in which the Rogue Planetoid and they lived. Taking a metaphorical sip of metaphorical whiskey, the Rogue Planetoid might point out that Gonk the power droid was in fact increasing entropy, and only aiding the slow transfer of all energy in the cosmos into a useless form before returning to ponder the deep mysteries of the universe.
The Planetoid might set down its glass of Johnnie Walker Black (if it were capable of holding one) and lean over to the bar tender (if it were possible for a Rogue Planetoid to lean, be in a bar, or communicate) and ask "What's it all about? When you get right down to it I mean.." (If it could speak aloud in a manner which might be understood by the bartender).
The moon is dark, and the gods dance in the night; there is terror in the sky, for upon the moon hath sunk an eclipse foretold in no books of men...

| Gonk says he likes big butts and he cannot lie. (Presumably on this particular point, not in general. It's possible I misunderstood, however.)
